Bollocks
0-1
We better hope the teams below us don't start playing because we might not get another point this season.

Too many changes for my taste but I will say I'm happy to see Mackie in there.
IMO it was his inclusion that kick started that winning run a few months back, he's so relentless in his work rate it has an effect on the rest of the team.

There's another goal coming here for BC any minute.

Now that we've gagged this one away tell me where the points are coming from?
Forest at home maybe?
Brentford away? This should be a game we can get up for regardless as a derby but we know from past experience that there aren't many players on the side that know what are derby games are let alone care about them.
If Blackburn win they need 7 points from 12 to catch us if we lose all of our matches. They have Bristol City (H), Wolves (A), Villa (H), Brentford (A) to end their season. Three of those four are guaranteed to have nothing to play for.
Good news is there are 5 teams between us and then that can gag as well.

I don't think we're getting another point this season.
I know everyone will say it doesn't matter, but to me winning is a habit and you write off the importance of any game, even playing out the string at the end of a mid table season, at your own peril.
Same with the cup competitions that everyone pretends don't matter when we go out at the first time of asking every year. You can't expect to go out and start winning the "important" games when you're in the habit of losing. QPR are a club that have been struggling for years and they need a positive and winning mentality above all else.

Bristol City (A) Wednesday (H) Brentford (A) Forest (H)
I don't see much there for us...City stink but they are at home. Wednesday are chasing promotion. Brentford above us in the table and away and Forest will likely be coming off a pair of wins one of them over Huddersfield.
We on the other hand really struggle to score and don't have much to play for.

I know these teams we're playing are quite good, but I can't help but be so disheartened by our continued inability in attack, and this has been going on for ages. Aside from putting 5 past a Sunday league side a few weeks ago we just have zero cutting edge...nothing...zip! It is so frustrating. I'm so ready to start losing 4-3 every match instead of 1-0.

1 shot, none on target.
Honestly I'm at the point where if we're going to be mid-table I would like to be a mid-table team that loses 5-4 and wins 4-3 instead of this pathetically anemic attack.

Said it many times before..no team in all of sport sticks to their narrative as reliably as QPR.
One of those narratives is that if you're on a bad run of form QPR are the perfect elixir.
Brum have won one in 14 or something like that so I'll go 2-0 to Birmingham.

No, no the new manage cycle is 12 to 18 months, it's too soon!
We should sack him around next October. That way we can hire someone new, wait for them to "settle", then they have to get their own players in so that brings us up to end of January. Then the PLAYERS have to settle so that takes us through the end of the season. Another transfer window in the summer, more settling and when we're lower mid-table in October 2018 we start the cycle again. All the while we'll play defensive football and average about half a goal a game.
it's really not that hard guys try to keep up.

We have to be one of the more pathetic goal scoring outfits of the last decade. Ever since Charlie left we are hopeless.
Championship is full of squads capable of posting 3,4 or 5 goals in a game and if we score 1 it's like the heavens have opened up.

My guess is Goss will come in and Ollie signs Ravel. Fact is, Goss will be the Michael Carrick figure in midfield and Ravel will be Ollies 'piano player'. I understand the reticence about us signing Morrison, but in real terms we have no creative goal scoring midfielder now that Chery has gone. Ravel can play that role and is exactly the kind of player QPR fans love to watch at Loftus Road. I suspect Ollie knows that full well too. Signing Ravel would give Les and Ollie massive Brownie points with our fanbase Luckily QPR have a LONG history of getting the best out of all their players so I'm sure the Ravel thing will be brilliant.

There was supposed to be a plan this time. We were told that we wanted to play a certain way as a club, not just the way the manager of the month wants us to play. The youth teams would train that way, we would recruit players who play that way and when a manager left for whatever reason we would find another manager who could play the way we wanted them to play.
That lasted about 3 months and we're back to totally re-inventing the wheel every transfer window. Unreal.

Most reliable team in football.
Always follow the greater narrative, and never surprise you.

Too many positive signs to count here.
If you own a home drag it over to the local bookmaker and put it on Blackburn.
Holloway could give debut to Eze in cup game
Teenager Eberechi Eze could make his QPR debut in Saturday’s FA Cup game against Blackburn.
Manager Ian Holloway has been impressed with the forward in recent Under-23 games and is set to include him in the squad for the third-round tie at Loftus Road.
Eze joined Rangers in the summer after leaving Millwall and, having been an unused substitute for the recent win at Wolves, he could well play some part against Rovers.
Other youngsters in contention to feature include Osman Kakay, Olamide Shodipo and Niko Hämäläinen, as well Ryan Manning, who has started the last two matches.
But Michael Doughty and Darnell Furlong, recently recalled from their loan spells at Swindon, are cup-tied having played in the tournament for the Robins earlier in the season.
A number of first-team players have been nursing injuries and are likely to be left out, while Tjaronn Chery and Sandro are finalising moves away from QPR.
Rangers have never won an FA Cup game under Holloway.

So we will pretty much break even with the sale. If he's not up for it, or Ollie doesn't feel he fits, it's better now that he moves on than later. What did we pay for him? Don't believe it was reported, but it makes sense that we would just break even. Well run clubs are pulling the Chinese's pants down and running off with bags of cash so that we would just barely make our money back sounds about right. Would have been nice to make a profit and soften the blow of the £10 million black hole that is Sandro.

How many central midfielders will we have to sign before we get it right...
Luongo Gladwin Cousins Borysiuk Chery Sandro
Meanwhile we make due with Perch at RB with Chief playing out of position there again and again. Maybe the return of Furlong is a sign that will change. And we lack width, especially on the left IMO. Wszolek looks like he might do well on the right, but on the left we have what? ELK? Shodipo, but they don't seem like they're ready to let him really have a run of games though he has shown promise.

4 min of added time....usually takes the 5 to concede after they score so they might just be able to hang on.
