Just read the fitness situation regarding Luongo on the BBC site, so thought I'd start the match thread early...
Home win then...

...and I think it's a fantastic achievement that, out of 736 teams that started the competition, we've made the last 64!

Our annual F A Cup 3rd round exit is a mere 24 hours away.
Betting the farm on Blackburn should reap handsome dividends.l

Up for the Cup??
So why close down half the ground for a rare 3.00pm Saturday game?
That can only guarantee absolutely zero atmosphere, effectively doubling the noise Blackburn fans will be making.

Too many positive signs to count here.
If you own a home drag it over to the local bookmaker and put it on Blackburn.
Holloway could give debut to Eze in cup game
Teenager Eberechi Eze could make his QPR debut in Saturday’s FA Cup game against Blackburn.
Manager Ian Holloway has been impressed with the forward in recent Under-23 games and is set to include him in the squad for the third-round tie at Loftus Road.
Eze joined Rangers in the summer after leaving Millwall and, having been an unused substitute for the recent win at Wolves, he could well play some part against Rovers.
Other youngsters in contention to feature include Osman Kakay, Olamide Shodipo and Niko Hämäläinen, as well Ryan Manning, who has started the last two matches.
But Michael Doughty and Darnell Furlong, recently recalled from their loan spells at Swindon, are cup-tied having played in the tournament for the Robins earlier in the season.
A number of first-team players have been nursing injuries and are likely to be left out, while Tjaronn Chery and Sandro are finalising moves away from QPR.
Rangers have never won an FA Cup game under Holloway.

Now that our cup run is over, we can concentrate on improving our league position. With Sandro gone, Chery going and hopefully a couple more such as Caulker, Gladwin, Henry etc perhaps some of these exciting youngsters such as Shopido will get a proper run and gain the right sort of experience. Not being loaned out to other clubs.

Perhaps, but there are still tickets for sale in the sections that are open. Too many glory hunters following QPR.......

It's just as bad for Blackburn; so no reason why we can't win today. Put it this way - I won't of course, be surprised if we lose today but I will be deeply disappointed.....

Hoping he's a striker as there aren't any others in the squad!

Eze is an 18 year old striker from the development side, just signed a contract this week. I know nothing about Eze, but have to say, I don't see many goals in that side... Having said that, Gladwin will probably score a brace - header from a set piece and worldie from outside the box!

That is a lot stronger side than I had expected with 7 of the 11 having played against Ipswich, plus Ingrams & Eze were unused subs.
We may even be taking this match seriously!

With the new kid as a striker winning should be Eze!

You're right about the strength of our team. I suppose Ollie wants us to keep on winning. Having said that, we don't do Cups so I still expect us to lose.
