Bristol City (A) Wednesday (H) Brentford (A) Forest (H)
I don't see much there for us...City stink but they are at home. Wednesday are chasing promotion. Brentford above us in the table and away and Forest will likely be coming off a pair of wins one of them over Huddersfield.
We on the other hand really struggle to score and don't have much to play for.

Absolutely irrelevant as far as I'm concerned, as long as we use these matches to gauge the progress of some of our fringe players.

Blimey, talk about defeatist. We've had 3 very narrow defeats but were on a good run before that and scored a fair few goals. I think we'll get a good few points.
Oh, and you missed one (Norwich away, last game)

Oh, and you missed one (Norwich away, last game) Based on current form it's very feasible that we will struggle to get a single point from our remaining fixtures. Obviously, football doesn't necessarily work that way and we could well go on a winning spree again, but frankly we look shocking at the moment. Looking at the remaining games, though, does not really inspire much confidence. Wednesday and Brentford should both beat us, Forest are in deep trouble and will likely be fighting for their Championship life when we play them. We saw today what happens when we play teams who want and need it more than us. The only saving grace is that we're at home, but Forest will surely be desperate at this point. We could well be going to Norwich on the last day needing to get something to guarantee staying up. Hopefully one of Blackburn, Forest or Burton can eff it up enough to negate any last day mathematical relegation possibilities for us. This lot thought they were safe after we beat Rotherham and so did most of us fans. How wrong we were!

This lot thought they were safe after we beat Rotherham and so did most of us fans. How wrong we were! I haven't seen any of today's game but yes, from what I hear, we were awful. But we weren't against Brighton so I don't look on it as a performance trend. I also don't subscribe to the "fighting for their lives" theory either, it doesn't mean they'll play well. In fact, the opposite can be true. Panic sets in ad that isn't the basis for good football. Also, there's the theory that those teams with nothing to play for will just roll over. Again, the opposite is often true. The pressure is off for them so they are free to enjoy their football without fear of relegation or missing out on promotion. As for Bristol City, don't forget they beat Huddersfield 4-0 a couple of weeks ago, they're no whipping boys. All that said, the changes to the starting 11 of 5/6 players every game really isn't helping. It's no coincidence that, during our recent purple patch, he was only making small changes, if any.

We might still need at least one more point. I guess we wait and see if Bristol City can get a result at Blackburn on Monday if not the way Brentford are playing I will be nervous come Forest.
Anyway Ollie thinks we need one more win.
"Twice we allowed City players to pick the ball up and walk backwards with it. One got booked for time-wasting and the other didn't, but where was the fight from my players?
"City didn't even have to work for their goals. We need another win to be safe and we have been trying to get it for four games now.

At no point this season have I thought that we were going to be relegated; I still don't. For long periods of this season I thought we'd free fall down to League 1. We should be safe on 50 points, but I'd feel a lot better with 53 points.
