Personally, I like them!
As normal, I won't be buying any of them, but I will have no objections of being in the company of others wearing them!

Wouldn't Gayle be a swop for Townsend?
IMO that would weaken them!

Perhaps we will experiment with three at the back again. I have doubts that we will, but it is a possibility. At least we would have more pace to cope with this now.
Anyhow, welcome Joel.

Only one person for me, but I'm sure he won't be considered & he is far too sensible to be interested - Eddie Howe.

Nothing will change for a while. Probably not for a couple of years & there will be no mass deportation. It may take that long for the UK to actually leave the union.
I doubt that any player from an EU country will have difficulty in retaining employment with their current club, even if their contract expires. It may be a little harder if they wish to transfer to another club.
Reduce the amount of foreign players in the Premier? I think that money may find a way round this problem. The EFL will possibly have to take a reduction in numbers though.

How the hell did people think Russia would beat Wales? No one saw Slovakia putting 10 men behind the ball and going for a point, then? Probably because we need points & require others not to gain any! It's called betting on the outsider.

I heard some of the match on the radio. Gerry Taggart was full of praise for Washington's non-stop running and commitment. Hopefully JFH was watching and can find a way of harnessing this. He did indeed play well Roller. His workrate was immense & vital to the victory. He had run himself into the ground by the time he went off. I don't think it is a natural role for him to play, but I expect him to continue with it against Germany.

Is this likely Roller? A genuine question as I don't see how he could be guarenteed to play more games for them. I also saw somewhere (can't remember where) that Ale Faurlin is likely to sign for Villa. Again I have doubts as to it's feasibility.

I doubt that this will make much difference, but I'm pleased that Ruben Gnanalingam is now a major shareholder.
I could easily be wrong, but he is the one person on our board that I have faith in. Under his leadership we appear to have abandoned our past excesses & introduced realism to how the club is managed.

RIP Not just a greart boxer/sportsman, but a great human being. Why was he a great human being ? I always saw him as a mouthy twat Because he lived & acted to his beliefs & principles. Holding them to be far more important than his own ambitions. He was an influence in the struggle against racial discrimination & his stance against The Vietnam war led to many a young American having the courage to follow suit. Thus helping to bring that conflict to an end. Because of his status, members of all races started questioning the nation's treatment of many of the population & many, for the first time, realised that if negro's acceptable to the establishment were involved in the race war, then it would have to be addressed. Although Ali was never a leader of the movement, he was very important to the cause. Not a bad CV for a "mouthy twat"! Not many people in my lifetime have been reveered throughout the world. Muhammad Ali was one of them.

That was a match that I had to miss, along with a few more of Rangers support.
We had a little match at Wembley that took preference! The FA Amateur Cup final saw the appearance of Chesham United, who had started in the Preliminary Round & had to beat ten clubs to reach the final.
What wasn't so good was losing to Leytonstone & we had a penalty saved! In the semi final we beat Wealdstone at Craven Cottage. So, in the space of two months, I experienced my two favourite footballing moments! Fulham followed by Villa Park in May. How the hell can you have that peak before your 15th birthday?
A club from a town of approx. 22,000 population sold around 30,000 tickets for the final!
Oh, happy days!

Now this pre-season game has come as a complete surprise to me.... ....not! It's a surprise to me. You don't normally play a side from your own division unless your being paid a fair amount of money in Asia, or at least on some foreign field! If the league fixtures have us playing each other at the start of the season, I would expect this friendly to be cancelled.

Very poor show if that is the case. Doesn't matter what anyone thinks of LVG,; leaking that out on day they won the FA Cup is a disgrace! Absolutely. Any opinions on the lack of advantage played when Wickham was pulled down, but got up to score, only to have it ruled out for a free kick? A poor decision from Clattenberg. It is of no help to Palace, but it looked to me that he accepted that he had dropped a b*****k straight away & apologised. The second non advantage was correct IMO, as Roja (or whatever his name is) stopped when the whistle went & would have beaten Ward to the ball otherwise. I look forward to seeing all the attractive, exciting & attacking football from Manure under new management!

I bow to thee, Mr. Bushman! A reminder to anyone that is excited about the two friendlies is that it will be in the middle of the Euro's, so don't go expecting Ajax etc.! Though, as Holland didn't qualify, you never know!
