Surely we'll get our usual mostly turgid draw where we either go behind and score late to show how determined we are or give up an equalizer in the last minute of stoppage time.

I don't know about you but this is the point in a match day where I take all the seemingly negative trends like Wednesday's 13 match unbeaten run at home, our horrible displays against Fulham and Bolton, Ale being out again and somehow turn them all in to proof that we're nailed on to be on the positive side of one of those 4 or 5 nil wins that happen all the time in the Championship. Surely Wednesday are due for a loss, and we're due for a good performance and Toszer can't be this bad all season.
I'm like clockwork.

And we're 1-0 down.
Well done lads, another inspired performance.

They've hit the woodwork twice and forced a great save from Smithies

No Washington in the starting XI? I don't get it. It's not like he needs to get fit, he's been playing all season for Peterborough.

We've never won at Forest so surely we're due?
We always drop points from winning positions, surely we've been unlucky and this time we'll hold on.
I have never rooted for a team as predictable and that adheres to form like QPR. With the exception of one wonderful day at Wembley I can't remember them ever surprising me in a good way.
2-0 Forest

I'm glad to have the two goal cushion but we took our time getting subs on against Blackburn as well and that didn't turn out well.

It's amazing how inept we look really.
We sign what look like halfway decent players, turn them into dross, and then can't offload them because even if we are willing to let them go on a free their wages are so high they refuse to go because the team that want them actually know what they're doing and refuse to pay them what we do.
Best we can do is bugger them off to the youth team and pretend they don't exist until we sack our manager again and they suddenly reappear in the first team a la Diakite against Hull.

Rovers were throwing the kitchen sink at us and we didn't sub anyone in until after the goal.

By my count that's 15 points surrendered due to goals after the 80th minute or after..

Lottery here is up to $1.3 Billion. That's a one time lump sum of $806 million, say $486 million after taxes. That's just over £334 million.
What would the R's go for these days? How much would I have to stump up if I win?

The back four should not be this bad in my opinion, they are all capable players who have plied their trade in the PL, they should not be giving up three goals in a half to Fulham. Seems like it has to be the coaching.
The last time we were really good at the back is when McLaren was coaching them under HR. He's on the outs with Newcastle, maybe we'll get him back.

For me Perch, Onuoha, Angella and Konchesky should be decent Championship level defenders, or at least they shouldn't be the worst defense in the league should they?

As an outsider (I'm not English) it never fails to amaze me how football fans in England turn on their teams in a heartbeat. Their devotion is unparalleled, it's not like they ever abandon their teams, but as soon as they lose a game or two they are immediately total crap and bound for relegation and the manager must be sacked.

I think we've only made about 3.5 million on transfers this summer. I was expecting way more than that and if we keep Charlie AND Matty Phillips and we have to continue to eat the contracts of Fer and Sandro, oy vey!

It is unbelievable to me that teams are willing to spend 36 million pounds on a 19-year-old who scored 9 goals in Ligue 1 last year or potentially 25 million on Berahino who scored 14 league goals and nobody will pony up 15 for Charlie who scored 18 in the Premier League last season, works his ass off and is never an ounce of bother.

Kpekawa nutmegged his man and sent a low cross into the box. JET slid in and punched it past the keeper. Not bad.

What's the problem? Perch is a right back and we desperately need a right back. We can argue about how good he is but certainly that position is a top priority.

Reading the message board I've heard a lot of people saying we need to sort out the situation at left back. What happened to Yun? Nobody talks about him anymore. He's young, pacey and I thought he preformed admirably after being thrown into the deep end last season, though he looked a little out of sorts after his injury. Am I wrong? Do we not like him anymore?
