1-1.
I could only watch it on the live blog and Twitter, but it seemed like we had some good possession but, as usual, very little in the way of an end product.
Bring on Foolham!
2-13 aggregate score on last three visits to CC.

Brentford's up 2-nil on Newcastle conquering Reading at halftime.
I wonder what it's like to be up 2-0 at the break?
We have 2 first half goals all season in the league - Opening game against Leeds and last week against Birmingham.

39 mins: What a save from Burton 'keeper Jon McLaughlin, who brilliantly keeps out Tjaronn Chery's angled 25-yard free-kick effort. [0-0]
I can see the post game comments now following a 1-0 loss.
"We were the better team in the first half, their keeper made some great saves unfortunately"

35' #QPR's pressing game is working well here, especially in the last ten minutes (0-0) #BURQPR
A goal from open play a possibility? Surely not!

Has Luongo ever scored for us?
He finds the back of the net regularly for the socceroos.

Sounds like we're getting some chances, but no end product.
We'll be punished for that. Guaranteed.

If we had scored we would have given up the equalizer before I could even finish this post.

Hey we're up 1-0...oh wait.

Oy ve, a player making his debut at right back and left back...we're in for a hiding IMO unless we can keep a lot of possession.

Listened to his interview on the podcast and I must say it didn't fill me with confidence, sounded deflated and without a lot of ideas.

We're revealing ourselves to be a team that belongs just above the relegation zone.
I count two goals from open play in the league this year. Does that sound right?

All week I've been thinking - Well, after that pathetic performance in mid week they will be gagging to get out there and show what they can do! Really bring the fight to them aggressively.
But it's QPR so what they'll do is what you expect from years of experience , not what you hope for.
They'll conceed inside of 5 minutes, pull back the goal before halftime and lose 2-1 on a Nakhi Wells winner late in the second half.

Sounds like Perch did his knee pretty bad.
So that leaves us with not-really-a-right-back Ned and Osman Kakay to fill the hole?
Can Furlong be recalled? Back to 'Arrys beloved 3-5-2?
Bosingwa available on an emergency loan?

I'm up for giving JFH a ton of time, maybe even erring on the side of giving him too much time.
I'm just sooooo tired of hearing about how INSERT NAME OF MANAGER HERE has to get his players in and then once he gets them they need time to bed in and then before you know another manager bites the dust and we do it all again.
I've been following Rangers for close to 20 years now and it feels like that's always where we are.

They appear to be a class above. Shelvy, Ritchie, Perez, Mitrovic, these are Premier League level players being coached by a Champions League winning coach.
Would love to know from someone in the stands how the fans are reacting?

I guess he'll play as a winger but offers a little more in defense than the other options, which isn't the worst idea against a team as loaded as Newcastle.
It would have been nice if we managed more than one point from 6 against the two bottom teams in the league in our last two home games. Maybe then we would have taken more chances against the top of the table.

Chery nets from a free kick and because QPR are the most predictable team on the planet we give it right back.

From the Offie's deadline day blog " QPR midfielder Sandro has had no offers to leave the R's according to his agent, report Sports Witness. Luis Paulo Chignall told the website: "There’s nothing so far. Let’s wait until the end." Read more on Sports Witness." Shame 'Arry isn't working somewhere, I'm sure he would have him. "Good lad, he'll do a job for us."

Looks decent to me.
Scores with his head, his feet, gets in and around the box and finds the back of the net.
You wouldn't call him overly prolific as he's scoring about once every four appearances for his club and country, but that's only a slightly worse ratio than Vydra who costs £10 million as opposed to £1.75 million.
Of course Vydra has proven himself in this league, but still...

Aside from this Bendtner tosh, HQ has been exceptionally quiet for the last two weeks or so.
If Harry were still around I would have thought we were in for a wild deadline day but could it be we'll just bide our time and try to get through with what we have?
Seems unlikely, but I haven't heard a squeak out of anyone in weeks - again aside from Bendtner which sounds like an agent trying to gin up interest in a player.

I've never supported a team in any sport that plays to type like Rangers.
You think that their awful record in cups has nothing to do with today, because after all what happened 10 years ago, or 5 years ago or even last year has nothing to do with this team that's on the pitch now. This team is young and hungry and motivated and they are playing FECKING Rochdale after all, and then they step out on the field and are 1-nil down inside of 5 minutes.
It's truly breathtaking how predictable they are.

TAARABT WANTS MARSEILLE MOVE
Former QPR and Spurs midfielder Adel Taarabt wants to move to Marseille. The 27-year-old, currently at Benfica, is desperate to leave the club and "return home".
He told France Football: "It is the city where I grew up, where my parents live. It would be nice to go back home, to my family.
"For me it would be the perfect club, the one I need. With the experience I have, I know what a club like Marseille would expect of me."
----------------------------
He was and is a headcase, but a beautiful footballer at times.
