wow rory! that much!
thats alot but theses types of players are young and would have potential sell on value in the future. spending 10- 12 mil on the likes of samba or ireland will never recoup that money. also, these types of players would prob give their all for us. and be roughly 30-40 grand aweek cheaper in wages.

i do like the look of that redmond at brum, he young and quick, and probably has a lot of hunger for the game. those are the type of players we should be looking at.
striker wise, why not rhodes or billy sharp, they both bang in the goals on a regular basis. they know where the goal is.
can see one of them feeding of the helgs knockdowns and flick ons.
all these players will cost a fraction compared to the "mercenieries" that we are fighting to play for our club.

well its been 2 and abit days of talks, time to move on. our current defence are doing pretty good under hughes, conceded 1 goal in two games.
i think we should concentrat on wing backs and a midfielder along with a striker.

Chelsea defender's QPR move on hold By Jacob Murtagh Jan 18 2012 Add a comment Recommend inShare ALEX'S move to QPR has been put on hold due to the Brazilian defender's wage demands. Rangers have agreed a fee with Chelsea for the centre-back, who is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. dont buy this atall. barton getting 60 k fernandez had no problem signing him. However, the Chronicle understands Alex's £60k-a-week wages are the stumbling block in the deal, and there are doubts whether the transfer will be wrapped up in time for Saturday's relegation six-pointer sport/london-chelsea-fc/2012/01/18/chelsea-defender-s-qpr-move-on-hold-82029-30151545/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter#ixzz1jpWK2JRE[/quote im sticking with the view that talks are still on going and all this paper and radio talk is shite. New boss Mark Hughes revealed the club held positive talks with the defender on Monday, and was hopeful of completing a move for the 29-year-old.

Dreadful night. I agree with jjqpr, by midway through the second half i almost didnt care if we won or lost (although givn a choice i'd obviously want a win) But isnt the elephant in the room here a feeling that the club made a terrible mistake by dumping Warnock? Anyone agree? obviously there are still plenty of NEIL WARNOCK FC supporters left who would be singing that crap even if we installed jose murinho as manager. they need to take a hike down to cornwall with him. qpr 1 0 neil warnock fc

MH...... if we can, bring players into the club who will help us. "But it's difficult in January, we understand that. It's important that if you do target players, they have to come in and make an impact. Read more: qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=29031&page=1#225490#ixzz1je10umHkspot on hughesy...... pointless buying anyone for the sake of it. if we cant get the players that can make a difference then its best to wait till the summer rther than using up transfer funds for the sake of a few more avarage joes. It's unlikely that what we have could keep us up so it's up to the board to show how badly they want to stay in this division. Losing Faurlin is a massive blow, most influential midfielder we had, leading that stats in tackles, passes etc. Barton will be back but been less than convincing with Traore and Taarabt to return in a few weeks by which time we could be set adrift. Not that going down bothers me with the obvious exception of what the board do as a reaction and their plans for training ground, academy etc. We'll get nowhere without those changes anyway. thats true. as you said, if the board are serious, they are have to be going to spend well over the odds for the players we need. it dosent help matters when fernandez and co are shouting from the roof that mh has got significant funds to spend, all that does is our club being held to ransom which is what is happening now. alex worth 3-4 mil, we are probably being told to cough up 6mil samba worth 7-8 mil, venkys just slapped a 14 mil price on his head all because fernandez has been shouting his mouth off. he needs to make a decision very soon. novice chairmen huh

no need to get sarcastic mac, im all for saying this one cant cut it in this league or that one did not preform today but you only have to look at the bothroyd and swp threds to see some bad personal insults being said.
you either except it or condem it. its abit silly saying its alright to say that crap here but not over there.
anyway thats my op, i will leave it at that.
