One small step by the team
One giant leap by the Club
A win, an ugly win but a win is a win
Imagine what the dressing room would have been like with a lose, minds can now be focused on Saturday without any negative thoughts.

To be honest kew if i was in the dressing room i'd still be feeling as bad as the fans did after watching that shambles. We were so outclassed it was shamefull and as a player i dont think that performance will have raised confidence one bit, win or no win. I hope i'm wrong though, god knows we needed a break like that. Oh and youre right, if we;d lost it'd have been even worse!!

Whatever happens, we've broken this streak...And that will help us next season too. And avoid the humiliation of having the worst run in football record. ...And We only have to win four more FA Cup games this season to reach Wembley!!!

If I were Wigan having seen the Newcastle game, I could see a battle. After us struggling against a third tier team, Wigan must now be rubbing their hands together. dear oh dear.
