Apart from Wheeler.. Looks Ollies first eleven of late and battered today. Smith Washington front two for me but .. We are so mid table but better than relegation fodder I thought we'd be 😒

Alan Johnson, the MP and former Home Secretary is a QPR fan. I always trot out that Debbie Harry is a QPR fan though I'm not sure how much of that was club marketing. I know Blondie visited Loftus Road in the 70s and came back as guests of Chris Wright later on (I think?). The picture of Debbie Harry and Loftus Road is really cool either way: How cool is this pic .. Snoop is great but Debbie Harry looking out from HQ .. 👍👍👍

Love Holloway and has faults but team is building along nicely .. Defence is catastrophic at the moment but that's because of injuries. Olly has given me a team that I can support again and not embarrassed when people ask you who you support .
Windows have been great/surprising how good and looking forward too where we are going but won't be tomorrow as slow burn but better than signing the Bosingwa's of this world ! Fernandes would be mad too think of changing but Jackett back as number 2 ... Yes please.

Just another thought .. Do you think a 4-5-1 with smith upfront , not disrupting our centre trio could work or are we still going to pump the ball forward to the big fella?

Want to predict Saturday's result but not sure who we have available at the back .. Guess back four with Baptiste and Robinson as our centre backs .. Probably a draw 😒

I think Wheeler has earned his chance to start and with competition down the right wing , Pavel might have a rocket up him !

The midfield picks itself , Sylla doesn't offer enough and lynch is missing a football brain , the defense looks like our problem area along with width .. Wheeler deserves a start but too be fair Fulham looked more organised and had a bit more about them ! Norwood looks top draw and there keeper were the standouts... We are looking better, more fight and closing in first half was impressive.
We play 3 at the back but you haven't the confidence they can deal with simplest things but Robinson gets 10/10 for effort and unlucky for first goal.

He's not the greatest and is liable to make a gaff but would have him in there from what we got but always looked better with Hall beside him . When do we expect Hall back anyway, his injury looked innocuous enough but been out for an age?

The population of Hammersmith and Fulham is approximately 180,000. We get gates of around 15,000. By purely a guess, I think a significant number of our fans travel in from outside anyway (I do) so I doubt more than half are are coming from the borough. So I wonder with those of you on this board who do live in the borough, why does it matter so much to keep pursuing these difficult options like Old Oak and the LC Stadium? We would only need to go a few miles west where land is a little cheaper and more plentiful. To my perception, transport options could be better. Given our nomadic origins (albeit 100 years ago) - I am not convinced that our soul is tied to the area as much as we might think and the number of people through the gates does back that up. Is it possible that the majority of locals don't actually care as much as we think? Just look at the opposition we have faced on the training ground! That tortuous process where we have faced barrier after barrier also suggests we over emphasize our significance to the community. Obviously, to a small core of the community it is incredibly important to remain but beyond that relatively small hardcore base I am not so sure. I know this will be offensive to some but I am genuinely just trying to understand. I am not talking about moving to Milton Keynes, just a pragmatic solution where current fans can still get to their club easily and a "new" community can be built while still supporting and celebrating our heritage. In my opinion, this could also be the key to unlocking a larger fanbase that could justify a 30k seater stadium. You instantly think no to this on first read and I still live fairly close but was talking to a few mates a while back about how our fan base is probably more from Ruislip Northolt than the bush these days! ... It's history though and the memories. 🤔

This situation was almost inevitable as we never addressed the defence in the last window.

It feels to me like we've just been priced out of the Striker market. Unless it's someone on the other side of 30 like Danny Graham you're just not going to get a reliable goal scorer, and as a result we're loading up on attacking midfielders who maybe come a bit cheaper? Just a thought. Makes defence more important! If we score less we have to let in less which is why if honest I thought we would be in a relegation fight this season. I'm very happy to be proven wrong but will put my hand up to being one of the supporters not looking forward to this season. Hoped defence would be looked at more.

Yeni or Sylla out then, if possible! .. Swede striker and a defender who we may or not know waiting to come in with our one in one out rule. I think Yeni may go permanent and Goss on a season loan plus another one or two youngsters. I think Ollie will keep Sylla I really think that Swede will be a cracking player but think that amount of 4 Million Euros is out of reach. The real only sad part of this window is we are STILL stuck with JETs wages unless he goes tomorrow, or will he play for the reserves all season and collect his wedge? Yeni or Sylla as need funds to get the swede as our well is dry and Sylla will be gone within a blink of an eye whether or not others think 20 goal a season man! .. Especially if swede is Ollies choice and scouted by his guy . Love our transfers in recent Windows and very happy to wait and see aswell as trust when they sell as same judgement required

Dave Mc said no truth in Graham rumours. Breathe Also saying could see couple more incomings depending if other deals move in the chain. Presume this doesnt include the Exeter player Yeni or Sylla out then, if possible! .. Swede striker and a defender who we may or not know waiting to come in with our one in one out rule.

I'm sorry for dragging this up but the defence is still suspect and think that with our plethora of midfielders the three at the back makes perfect sense but if you think our strongest three .. is mid table realistically where we'll end up? Hall back makes defence so much better but would he help shore up enough to dream of challenging for play offs? ... Or ... Are we more worried about scoring enough?
I had us for a relegation battle this year but with our new central midfield combination working so well and results going better than expected , I'm really in two minds but very encouraged by what's happening.
