This is the problem, though, Mac. Thanks to these two a-holes the press have got a story that will run and run. QPR are the gift that keeps on giving as far as providing ammunition for the press to keep beating us over the head with.

Still the jokes will be lost if this team doesn't get a result against Villa.

Let adel be manager. Let him be club captain. Let him train when he likes. Let him eat cake. Let him get a bus home at half time. Let him sulk in a game. Let him court other clubs. Let him think he is the best footballer in the world. Let him kick water bottles. Let him annoy qpr fans.
BUT FFS LET HIM PLAY.

How you can compare Stan Bowles, a true legend to wear the hoops to a one season wonder, is beyond me. It just shows how blinkered Adel's Harem are. Procul Harum Yes...."Adel's Harem" No! I gotta say that I watched Bowles when I was a kid and there are some similarities that Adel has. I'm not suggesting Adel is on anywhere near the same plane but nonetheless he reminds me of him in some respects. Ironically, I can also remember that there were times when the crowd would get on Stan's back for being lazy ( not that I would have agreed) or for being over-indulgent. i just think it's a shame that we can't get the best out of Adel, he's worth the effort and Warnock was quick to realise that.

Best player we have had for yonks. Wont accept the bad attitude in the dressing room or fat boy comments. its laziness on our manager and coaches.and a poster mentioned why isnt blackie in there helping him out. Bet blackie is on a good wage just to chew the fat with barton. All mouth and bollox. Thing is adel can play. So let him play. more so than any other.

This has to be the most blinkered post I have ever read about the football player, no one in world football wants. In all seriousness, apart from his one season wonder performance in the Championship (four years ago), what makes you think he is equipped to be a premier league player. After all, the only thing of note Adel has done in two seasons in the Premier League, with two different clubs, was being kicked out of both of them for footballing reasons, yet you say let him do what he wants as long as he plays. It is quite pathetic how anyone can seriously suggest one player should be treated differently to 24 others and you wonder why Neal Warnock had to beg players not to kick the shiteeeeeeee out of Adel on a daily basis. I have just seen your other post "Best player we have had for yonks" and I had to chuckle as people questioned if the word Harem is the best word to describe a group of people who love Adel tooooooo much.....

Personally I say sack 'em both but to be quite honest Adel looks leaner now than he did when he scored 19 and assisted the same amount to get us promoted......

QPRFormer QPR boss Warnock sympathises with Redknapp over Taarabt
23/10/2014 By James Ross Neil Warnock has expressed sympathy for Harry Redknapp over the QPR managerβs extraordinary public row with Adel Taarabt.
Redknapp launched his most scathing attack on the Moroccan yet following Sundayβs dramatic defeat at home to Liverpool, suggesting Taarabt was βthree stone overweightβ because he was refusing to train properly.
Former Rangers boss Warnock, now in charge at Crystal Palace, had the task of managing the temperamental Taarabt while he was at Loftus Road.
βI think Iβve made comments like Harry has in the past and thatβs how it is,β said Warnock.
βI had a great 12 months [at QPR], but I realise how difficult it is to have him [Taarabt] on board. Itβs very difficult.
βHarry is very experienced, heβs seen it all and done it all, and quite rightly he was disappointed on Sunday because they played very well against Liverpool and should have probably had three points, let alone one point.
βSo itβs difficult when the microphone is flung in your face straight after, but youβve got to do it as thatβs in your contract, and sometimes you want to go away.β
Taarabt, 25, has returned to training with the rest of the QPR squad as the club look to draw a line under the matter.

Colin just summed it up right there.
Taarabt is nigh on impossible to work with and tries the patience of the very best coaches.
Redknapp let his guard fall and probably regrets it.
Now move on and let Barton sort it out

No doubt in my mind that Harry can't be bothered to help develop Adel. So in the 1st team according to the website we have the following people that are responsible for Adels welfare as a professional player Athlete :- Manager - REdknapp Assistant Manager - Kevin Bond 1st Team Coach - Joe Jordan Senior Professional Development Coach - Steve Gallen
Which one of these people are responsible for Fitness ?

Didn't Warnock say that if PSG were interested in him he'd drive him there himself? This after Adel (his agent maybe) had told the press that PSG wanted him.

taarabts to good for you....paulmason I used to love that song, four years ago when he was worth watching and justified a place in the team. Now though, a decent song has morphed into Taarabts to fat for you...... or Tarrabts to slow for you......., which is a pity, but it is what it is.

Whats up Maude, Taarabt keeping you awake Judging by the way rain coats used to shuffle about when Adel scored his goals, did his step overs, tricks and flicks four years ago, the thought of Adel playing on Monday night is probably keeping Maude and others awake a night.

QPR Fans over the years have seen the likes of Marsh, Bowles, Rogers, Stainrod, Byrne, Wegerle et al.
Yes I could imagine Redknapp playing Taarabt vs Aston Villa in a position not suited, or keeping him on - just to SHOW him and Fans. "See"
Forget the harm it might do to QPR
I'm interested in what Taarabt said about Redknapp and training. That's worthy of discussion, if true.
But the attempt to make it "Taarabt lovers" is just inane.
If people want Taarabt to play, it's because they think he could contribute to our success.
And to go back, Many have wondered about Redknapp not selecting Taarabt - especially after he suddenly threw him on vs West Ham.
It was the Redknapp post-Liverpool tirade and seeming "inaccuracy" that really provoked matters

You think he will help, I think he will hinder as its all about Adel and not the team. I will be supporting QPR long after Adel leaves in January and why would you worry about Adel playing 90 minutes on Monday, he is either fit enough or not and according to some on here, just let him play FFS!. PS: I do like the way you use names like Marsh, Bowles, Rogers, Stainrod, Byrne and Wegerle in your posts about Adel. Are you suggesting Adel is on the same level as them?

The sooner he leaves the better for everyone and with the help of social media, his Harem can follow Sand Pit FC, to keep tabs on their man.
I think this bit is bullshit.
While he is at the Club he is one of our Players so who knows. Anything is still possible. Didn't Barton once say he would never play a game in the Championship. Wouldn't be surprised to see Adel on the bench Monday and even if unfit probably stands a better chance of scoring than Phillips
It won't be long before he goes for good, probably best but there's probably been some Players with a worse mentality over the decades and there were hundreds more worse skill level wise .

I think HR's behaviour was him just drawing a line in the sand for Adel (No pun intended)
I sense something went on before Saturdays game....so he' called him out publicly and knows what implication that will have on the players image (especially for potential buyers)
Football clubs will pay attention to what HR is implying not Adel (dont think he expected him to bite back in the papers)
If he's fit I think he will at least be on the Bench Monday...So now Adel has to deliver either way...and he knows it!
