If I do, I apologize. But I'd like you to cite an example. I don't call people Fernandes Lackies... and Adel Harem is offensiveBecause we're talking about each other on this board. If people want to call hi Fat Adel, I might think it fair or unfair, but fine... Only if you are very easily offended. I've seen a lot worse on here that goes unchecked.

And now returning the serve, Harry Redknapp MIRROR QPR boss Harry Redknapp claims Adel Taarabt only lost weight due to TONSILLITIS Oct 21, 2014 12:28 By Aaron Flanagan Andy Hooper / Daily Mail Where's the fat? Adel Taarabt shows off his physique The war of words between Adel Taarabt and Harry Redknapp rumbled on today, with the latter claiming the midfielder has only lost weight due to tonsillitis. Following his side's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool, Redknapp hit out at the Moroccan midfielder, suggesting he was three stone overweight. That claim was refuted by Taarabt, who showed off his physique in a series of photos – to which the QPR boss responded by saying: "Even I could suck my stomach in for a picture and look OK.” In a stunning outburst in the Sun, Redknapp labels Taarabt "he worst professional I have ever come across" and says that "I have protected him for too long". “The only reason he has lost weight is because he has had tonsillitis," added the former Spurs manager. "That’s the only way we could get any weight off of him. "The fitness coaches at QPR, everybody tells me he doesn’t try. He doesn’t want to run around. I have tried to protect him until now but the fans have to know what’s going on." Ian Walton War of words: Redknapp has been vocal in his criticism of Taarabt Taarabt earlier criticised Redknapp in the Daily Mail, claiming the coach 'spends most of the time in his office but when he gets off the phone he comes down to watch for five or 10 minutes - he never takes a session." Taarabt also defended his role in the side following Redknapp's comments. "My job is to create, bring goals to the team," added the trickster. "Maybe he expects me to make more tackles. I am not this type of player." MORE: Check out more fat footballers from past and present www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/qpr-boss-harry-redknapp-claims-4473879

It is offensive because we don't on this board (in theory at least)
No I absolutely believe you have to back the manager - in his team selection, etc. Even if I think it's a mistake. Or you sack the Manager.
But if he doesnt want to play Taarabt (or anyone else), That's his choice - or we remove him from the Managership.
When he gets to publicly denigrating Taarabt: That's not acceptible...

Clause means Rangers can ditch Rio
Soccer - Barclays Premier League - West Ham United v Queens Park Rangers - Upton Park 21/10/2014 By David McIntyre An agreement in Rio Ferdinand’s QPR contract means the club can ditch him in January, although at this stage that looks unlikely to happen. Ferdinand’s deal includes a break clause similar to one agreed with Richard Dunne when he joined Rangers last year. Dunne established himself as a key player and featured in enough matches to not only see out his one-year contract but also secure another one. But with Ferdinand having been left out for Sunday’s defeat against Liverpool after some poor performances, there is speculation that the former Manchester United and England star could be offloaded. Manager Harry Redknapp and the Loftus Road hierarchy clashed in the summer, when the owners had misgivings about bringing him in. Chairman Tony Fernandes was keen to please fans by signing younger players, with Rangers’ previous transfer dealings having attracted criticism. The defender’s subsequent displays appear to have justified the feelings of some fans and board members. But despite behind-the-scenes disagreements over his signing, Ferdinand, who turns 36 next month, has become a popular figure within the club and is admired for his attitude and professionalism. After being informed he would be on the bench against Liverpool, he shook the hand of each member of the starting line-up and wished them good luck. Adel Taarabt, on the other hand, reacted angrily to being told he was not in the matchday squad. That left Redknapp furious and prompted his rant about Taarabt when he was asked after the match why the Moroccan had been left out. He claims Taarabt is overweight, has refused to train properly and isn’t fit enough to be considered for selection. He also appeared to suggest Taarabt earns £60,000-£70,000 a week. Taarabt, who is paid £40,000 a week, has insisted that he is not overweight and that Redknapp is seeking to make excuses for bottom-of-the-table Rangers’ results this season.
The club’s owners agree with Redknapp and his backroom team that Taarabt is out of shape and has acted unprofessionally.

Still while all this crap with Adel rumbles along at least the focus goes away from the fact how poor our performances have been especially at away games this season.

There is no way Adel signed a three year contract for £40,000 a week, playing in the premier league and with Kia Joorabchian as his agent.

Just out of interest, Taarabt is 3 stone overweight. Yet Redknapp picked and played Krancjar all last season..........
This is also the same Redknapp who picked Bosingwa even when he refused to sit on the subs bench, and showed no effort to actually do his job and defend, no?
Sorry, I'm not in the Adel Hareem as it were, but the more I think of this the more angrier I am with Redknapp about what he did. Its so damn unprofessional its unreal.
Taarabt may be a lazy sod but what Redknapp has done and continues to do today in the papers is directly bringing this club into disrepute and dragging our club through the dirt again.
You earn £3M a year yet can't shut up instead of engaging in a now public slanging match that you actually started?
Fernandes should be livid with Harry, who should know better, for acting in such an horrificly unprofessional manner. Instead, of distancing himself from the remarks and taking the high ground he endorses Redknapp's behaviour and weighs in with his tuppenys worth for good measure.
This whole nonsense so smacks of double standards.
Redknapp better win on Monday because if he doesn't then a large section of our fans that he has already alienated will turn on him very quickly.
Somewhere, Tony Pulis and his agent are sharpening their pencils and sitting by their phones waiting for a certain Malaysian to call.

Obviously Adel's attitude has been a major part of Arys team selection but after the going back and forth of media comments and especially the last one from the Sun from Ary I'd say that QPR are publicly bringing the game into disrepute and and we are looking like the clown team of the premiership. Ary then quoting the fitness coaches in charge of Adel and the week before blaming them for the whole teams failure to be fit 3 months into the season is clutching at straws and his excuses are like layered cake. I feel he's broken a golden rule in Coaching and you just don't put players down openly in the public eye certainly not with the stuff he's said, this kind of stuff should be aired in team training. The media attention on this is farcical and throwing us back into Paldini time, not only that but all the rumors of the background setup being chaos and unorganized & the recent insight by Coach Tony McCool are starting to become visible to us all that the clubs falling apart. We have serious problems coming to a head what with the background financial stuff and a scrawny party type chairman who is reveling in self exposure at any opportunity, his one comment about Adel shown me he is not at the level of the game or whats needed at QPR - he needs to be professional or get on his party plane back to the far east. For me its 40 + years of QPR & think I need some time off and go watch a team in Serie A, sort of losing my way as a dedicated fan as I'm sure some of you all might be

They hold the responsibility.

There is no way Adel signed a three year contract for £40,000 a week, playing in the premier league and with Kia Joorabchian as his agent. If you are that well informed Paul, please let us know how much he is being paid. You might like to include the salaries for all of the management & playing staff while your at it. I doubt that Dave Mac knows the actual figure either, but surely he has as much chance of being correct as you do? Unless you are really in the know. Although, as is well known, I dislike Mr. Redknapp, I understand him being annoyed with questions about Tarrabt & using literary licence in his reply. I have also stated for at least the past eighteen months, that the club should have sold Adel for his worth to the purchasing club. That bore no resemblance to the price we were quoting & he will now probably end up leaving us with no fee being involved. However, that still begs the question of how/why he is now so unfit & overweight when he presumably wasn't two weeks earlier. If that was the case then, why the hell was in the squad at West Ham? It would have been far better if HR has replied that the player had not performed well in the friendly with Wolves & therefore was not under consideration. Obviously, i'm just as guilty as I have written this post & read all of the thread, but when we have just performed better than we have for other two years how does this subject warrant the amount of publicity it is receiving?
