In the swedish translation it reads more like she feels sorry for QPR...The book is written by Nesbö, in swedish called Huvudjägarna so Head hunters???

The problem with comparing us with, for instance, West Ham, is that they didn't overspend like maniacs on players who think it is beneath their level to play in the Championship. I'm pretty sure that we will either have a mass exodus from the club before next season or some very bad motivational problems

Exactly, hate him as much as you like but he still speaks the truth, sometimes that hurt.

Green Bosingwa/Mbia/Hill/Traore SWP/Diakite/Jenas/Hoilett Zamora/Johnson
Lennox Onouhra Faurlin Park Mackie
Hmm, out of those players I think we stand likely to lose Bosingwa, Mbia, Diakite, Hoilett, Onouha, Faurlin, Park and Mackie, plus a few of the others like SWP and Green would likely like to leave as well. The question is if we will let players who think they are too big for the Championship leave of if we force them to stay.
I'm not at all as optimistic as you are Rory, and I have to say that is from previous experiences with our club.

Well I have been and I am worried, but you can only worry so much. Both Beard and Fernandez have gone out of their ways to try and reassure us everything is fine. Since I can't actually do much about things I'll choose to believe them, for now.

Guess the question we'll find out is whether they really do have a prepared, well-thought out "Plan B" Relegation Contingency Plan... Based on the past 18 months.... Exactly this...

Well OP, I would call this thread trolling, you even admit to post it to just stir trouble. However I will give you my view and a serious answer even if I think you don't deserve it.
I think most pessimists, myself included, dooesn't have anything against playing in the Premier. We would just like the club to be well run.
It might be that we are not in trouble even if going down, maybe our owners will soak it up and continue developing the club. It is just that how we have seen the club run for a very long time, the last one and a half year included, well it just doesn't inspire optimism.
It is a problem that we don't know what will happen, a well run club is in my opinion also a transparent club. I don't see much transparancy at QPR headquarters today, I wish I did but I don't.

I think he will leave, but not 100% sure.
Probably Cotterill who takes over, would be a decent choice I suppose. But I would like swedish Magnus Haglund with wild thing and Derry as side kicks.

We have more strikers now though, both DJ and Bothroyd in the 25. Would love for DJ to have a run in the team. To be honest with a good scouting set up we should have been able to get other strikers from other leagues, but we don't seem to have a network in place.

We are going down, other results terrible for us today (at least at the moment and they are into extra time). 6 points up now.
edit: well, at least Everton got 3-3 edit2: and a Newcastle turnaorund against Chelski, happy about that with their signings there is no way Newcastle would be in any relegation fight.

We bought Remy but we got rid of Cisse - so it's a wash - at least in terms of numbers. And you have to consider possibility of injuries/suspensions, etc But we have DJ now, have we sold Bothroyd? Will be interesting to see the 25.

I think we have screwed up here. We need goals to get out of this and we did not address that weakness in this window. I thought that was why we bought Remy? Still think we will go down though.

Harry on ldn call-in said crouch is a no-go, odemwingie - maybe. Sky tweeted the latter is at LR! Swedish paper Aftonbladet has a live tv-show tonight for Silly season, they quoute the Times saying Odemwingie probably going through. They are calling it the first twitter-signing....

He added: “I know what is going on with the project here. Owners change, managers change, years go by, and yet still the new players instinctively refer to QPR as a Project. Never changes does it? Never a club always a project!

all i keep hearing is that we are buying quality expierienced premiership players that have done this and done that, but the truth is most are past their sell buy date and are just picking up money for old rope. most are old ex players/mates of mark hughes and as for carvaliho and hangerland on big fees and big wages is crazy, it is getting like a retirement village for old mates. do we have a scouting system? and if we are going to buy a real striker/poacher then my choice would be hooper at celtic if he would come? but if i was tf i would not be happy giving hughes my cheque book! Its true, think about the norwich's and swansea's of this world, they dont go in for retiring pros who have been there and done that and they seem to be doing just fine thank you! Wish we'd followed their lead instead of buying players who couldn't give a hoot about us. Might disagree strongly with you on the ballboy incident JJ, but here you are spot on.

Three goals ahead...Actually if you rank clubs by attendance I think where MK Dons are now would probably be our "natural place", maybe be in the Championship now and then and league one now and then

Ball boy was asking for it and he was hardly a child looked about 30 though hear he was 17...plenty of 17 year old yobs (not syaing this one was a yob but you know the sort) deserve a good kick imho! I imagine a lot of people would change their tune if it was a scum ballboy doing that to us and clint hill gave him a little nudge (lets be honest he kicked the ball not the bloke!) There simply is no excuse for kicking someone out of play. Sure it could happen on field in heated situation, but off field towards spectators or functionaries, big no no. Was asking for it? Give me a break, you make me vomit. edit: Had a QPR-player done that I would have felt very ashamed and very much hoped the club would fire him straight away. Just like they should have done with Barton last season.

I am finding it hard to comprehend,? Why when we already have Young who Sucks, why would we get Suk Yung??? Think you're a little unfair to Luke actually, sure he hasn't been in the 25 this year but didn't think he did that bad a job last year. As for Mackie and Norwich, that's the problem isn't it? The only players we are going to be able to sell if we go down are the ones we would like to keep...

An interesting point on the BBC Breakfast show about the ball boy "acting" and milking the injury situation. Where did he learn to act like that? Perhaps from watching footballers on the pitch? Exactly, everyone who blames the ball boy makes me feel ill. His behaviour comes straight from his idols on the pitch.

It doesn't matter what the lad did or didn't do to hide the ball or if he was acting bad. It doesn't even matter much where the kick hit, the point is he kicked a child.
That should be enough said, if the child was stupid has nothing to do with the action of the player (or anyone else kicking children, holding onto balls or not).

Why would we sell Remy one week after he got here?
edit: and yes, don't think Redknapp is too happy with the board. It was just a couple of days ago he told the press that we were too slow to finalize deals.
