I have to say I'm beginning to tire of the negative attitude on here. I've always found this board to be more realistic and not just swallowing anything the board hands you.
That is great!
But there is a line where this just turns into conspiracy theories and to be honest, this last year I feel the board as a whole gives that impression.
It saddens me to say this, considering I was once an active moderator on here.
To each their own - and I very much disagree with Dave MCs opinion above. On other social media places he gets quite a lot of stick for that posting.
I will simply stop using this site it is just depressing to read nowadays.

I fail to see why Fernandez should be as horrible as you suggest.

thats if hes not found guilty of rape !! He's not even been charged yet. Even if he is, I seriously doubt the trial would be before the January window ...And that would make him hard to sell in january as well!

Well Mac, I agree that seems a little strange, why can't the manager handle that? But that aapart, good noises from Ferdinand and hopefully what he says is what will happen.
Perhaps he has learnt from mistakes done.

Maybe it is "sell before you buy"?

This is standard for all plan changes, be it new buildings, parks whatever. If something is about to change there will always be people who take it as far as they can and try to stop it. This should of course be taken into account when you make a timeline for said changes.

Seems pretty fair to me, you can always disagree on a point or two, but on the whole it's a good piece.

What it does show is what happens when you abandon all tradition at a club and hire only mercenaries.

Wonder how old the photo is and if it's fake. If it's recent and not fake we should have seen the last of him

Yeah, except it looks like the wonga has gone instead, mate! ;D Me, I subscribe to the Paisley Doctrine. Any problems, stick the ball in the net and talk about the options later. Nothing else ever works. Personally I'm going the ostrich way and sticking my head into the sand!

If I was a Fulham fan I wouldn't be so confident for the future. You've had a good run in the premier league, but I think you've had your best years.
Don't be too cocky, it will only get back at you, probably sooner rather than later.

Losing Zamora and Johnson to injury was bad luck, but it was expected bad luck. Both are aging injury prone players, what did he think was going to happen?

Shame on Sunderland, and good for Milliband. I would sit out going to Rangers for a while if this well-known fascist ever became our manager. Giving Nazi salutes to racist fans? Even if he was the best manager in Europe, he wouldn`t be welcome at my club.

It looked for a while under Gianni that we were becoming a "Feeder Club" of Chelsea Ugh, I've been trying to forget that...

How QPR have handled him has been strange Yes...I think we should have fired him straight away after the City game. You simply don't behave like that. Now we've made some sort of weird compromise, having him play with the youth set up and then loan him out. But I also think Derry has a point, I do think we underestimate the influence and importance of him last year. Prick or no prick.

Please help a non-british fan out. I know there are sometimes said to be a special connection between clubs and/or between some clubs fans.
An example of this would be scum/Rangers/Linfield (sometimes Lazio gets a mention there too). Eventhough I know many of the fans of those clubs doesn't give a toss about the others.
So, how about QPR, do we have any special connections to other clubs or set of fans?

Honestly, even if we looked the better team in the first half...after having watched Everton beat City our match really was rubbish to watch. Such a huge difference in the quality of the football. No wonder we're going down (which I can live with, it's the manner we go down in that I don't like).
edit, on topic: Caesar has been great earlier in the season and can hardly be the scapegoat for us going down. However Green (calamity Green, not long ago?) has been great, but I bet an ill Green would have been an even poorer keeper today.

why, is there not a chance that we could say up.. !!?? i give the reason being 4 points off relegation, you give me what? I hope that we will stay up, of course I do. But history tells us we would have to get AT LEAST another 15 points, which I can't see us getting.

Despite our win the fact is the midfield just didn't work at all. Granero should be dropped for Jenas IMO. Maybe Taarabt back in as he is a 'home' player but not sure who would come out the team for him. When we bought Granero though he was lauded as being a good player wasn't he. I had never seen him play but I understood he was well thought of. What's happened, not just to him but to other players that were good at other clubs but can't seem to reproduce that form for us. As Rory implies, Granero just doesn't seem to be making any impact all. Some of those players were more of reserves or specialist players in their former clubs. Easy example would be Park who was used more like a specialist player in matches where his style would make an impact. Also, some of the players are used to have even better players around them again Park and also Granero are examples, those former team mates created more space around them and also made better runs making it easier to pass them. And of course some others were simply not the first choice at their former clubs, yes the played at good clubs but didn't play that often or they are just getting old. Granero for instance was never first choice at Real, but of course still a good player, just like Parejo was. In those and some other cases it could also be the different culture and tactics used in english football. Those are risks you take when you buy the kind of players we have been buying and why I prefer us to buy promising players from lower leagues who have proven themselves there, mixed perhaps with a couple of more experienced players. A strategy that could work as for Norwich but even if not working wouldn't involve such a huge financial risk if going down.
