Lunchtime odds - Olli as low 1/10-on - as good as a 'done deal'??

Lunchtime odds - Olli as low 1/10-on - as good as a 'done deal'?? The bookies certainly seem to think so. Don't think I've ever seen anything with odds that small NOT come to pass. I, for one, welcome our new Ollielord.

Other clubs fans must be laughing their heads off if he is the only coach we can attract, cheap as chips.

What some forget is Blackpool did alright with him and have gone right down the toilet without him Dont forget he also got Palace promoted from this Division, the reason they are in the Prem now. He almost kept little spending Blackpool up in the Prem after getting them promoted, Wolves pipped them by one point and sent them down with 39 points on the last day. How many millions did we spend on players and managers and went down with 30 points or less in the Prem. Some fans should remember who we are.

Well as for getting palace up, freeman done most of the hard work they were in the top two when he left, they just scrapped it thru the play offs with Ollie who had taken over. The next season they almost went into melt down with him, he could not handle the pressure and left. Blackpool was a fluke. Sacked from leicester after getting them relegated. Sacked from millwall after getting them relegated. Lovely bloke well qualified to take over us............NOT. WE are a different club from when he was last here, a hell of a lot more expectations than he ever faced here before, fans not fussy who they hound out weather it be Ramsey, jimmy, or Ollie.......most fans on websites dont want him, so he will be under pressure from the start, i dont want him he is a clown and very limited as is bircham.................god i hope they dont get the job.

Sky says Ian Holloway is favorite. Remember when he was sent on gardening leave?

So I'll put you down as a 'maybe' Scarlet?? I reckon if they did a poll it would be 50-50 or even 60-40 in Ollies favour. It might only be until the end of season? Lets face it thousands voted in the Sherwood poll last week qnd he got 20 % of Rangers votes so its an improvement on that. What are our expectations this season now? For me its getting beyond 50 points and enjoy ourselves, anything above that a bonus. They may even have Clement lined up in the summer for all we know. If he is named this week, I back him. We were lacking tactics and passion in the last few months, at least we know we would get back the passion, he loves our Club and we know he can work with Les F.

at the end of the day if its holloway and bircham i couldnt be happier both love qpr , arses will be kicked in the dressing room, we wont lack passion and we will see more exciting football , interviews will be fun and of interest unlike the dull interviews of jfh , they are qpr people and there is a lot who dont like it they are entitled to their views but you cant get better than qpr people who have the club in their hearts.

Dont think its what the bookies know is it, dosh going on him thats making the odds. Not entirely, no. They'l have people in the know, contacts on the ground so to speak. Unlikely there's enough money going on Ollie to make the odds that short.

If true, I can't say this is what I'd want. I love Ollie, but he should remain as a wonderful, untarnished memory.

In fairness, DMac said a few years back that Holloway would walk on broken glass to have the chance to come back to QPR.
I assume no bottles were broken in the current interviewing process?

I just hope it isn't too long a contract. Love Ollie to bits but I don't think he's the future.

I just hope it isn't too long a contract. Love Ollie to bits but I don't think he's the future. Yeah, I'd be nervous about us tearing into another one of our heroes to be honest and I certainly don't see him as the right fit for the long term. As a feel-good signing to steady the ship until the right candidate for the longer term comes up though - I'm quite excited. I don't think we should have changed manager in November anyway so that influences my view on things, but I can think of far worse options than Holloway being around the place. Desperately hope it works out for him if he does come in - if it goes badly it will be really messy all round.

Point is, what employer would employ a previous employee who since leaving your employment, has been sacked not once or twice but three f**ing times and brings a novice as his assistant, what would you call that employer, Brave, stupid, thick, meek please add cause i am dumbfounded.
Five years of constant F*ckups from the owners how long must this continue.
