From football league world footballleagueworld.co.uk/wolves-rival-qpr-and-blackburn-for-impressive-preston-performer/?Wolves rival QPR and Blackburn for impressive Preston performerDate: 22nd April 2016 at 8:00 pm Written by: Jonny Gorrie Championship trio Wolves, QPR and Blackburn Rovers are eyeing a move for Preston North End defender Greg Cunningham, report HITC Sport. Upon his arrival in Lancashire over the course of the summer, the former Manchester City youngster has emerged as a solid full-back in the second tier of English football. Such is the nature of his impressive form at Deepdale, the 25-year old looks to have played his way back into contention for the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of Euro 2016. He penned a two-year deal with the Lilywhites only last summer, though will obviously be entering the final year of his deal this time around. As a result, the three rival clubs are believed to have retained an interest in prizing him away. Wolves themselves could use some strengthening on the left flank, with Sheffield Wednesday having recalled Jeremy Helan from his loan spell. It’s been a wonderful campaign in a much wider sense for Preston, who’ve excelled as a surprise package under the stewardship of Simon Grayson upon their return to the Championship. They face a local derby with Burnley tomorrow, aiming to dent the Clarets’ promotion hopes.

Full story from the Birmingham Mail. Can't believe the part about him struggling for fitness or that he has had injuries! www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/tony-pulis-west-brom-loan-11236705?Tony Pulis: West Brom loan ranger would love to stay10:55, 25 APR 2016 UPDATED 11:28, 25 APR 2016 BY PAUL SUART Baggies boss says Sandro is eager to remain at the Hawthorns after his loan expires Tony Pulis reckons midfield powerhouse Sandro has settled in well at West Bromwich Albion and would love to make his loan permanent. Albion insisted on a clause allowing them to buy the Brazilian, who could face his former club Spurs tonight, when he joined on loan from QPR in January. The 27-year-old has made ten appearance for the Baggies and, according to Pulis, sees his future at the Hawthorns. "I think he'd love to stay," Pulis said. "He enjoys the dressing room and has mixed in well." It's another matter as to whether West Brom will want to sign the combative midfielder, who has won 17 caps for his famous country, on a permanent basis. He has struggled to reach peak fitness with Albion, having been out for a month earlier in the season with a knee injury. Sandro has had some up and down performances and was turned inside out by Alexis Sanchez on the first goal in Arsenal's routine 2-0 win on Thursday. And Pulis said he would delay any decision on whether to move for Sandro until the end of the season "He'll play a big part in the next few games and we'll see then," the Welshman said. "That'll give us an overview."

From sportwitness sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/agent-speaks-about-future-of-leeds-and-qpr-linked-italian-endorseAgent speaks about future of Leeds and QPR linked Italian, endorses Italy call-upPosted by SPORT WITNESS on April 26, 2016 at 12:08 in Sport Witness Football The agent of Sampdoria defender Fabrizio Cacciatore has spoken to the Italian media with regards to the future plans of his client. The right back is currently on loan with Serie A side Chievo Verona, but was linked with a move to Leeds United and Queen Park Rangers in the last transfer window. Speaking to TMW, Eros Quadrati was asked whether the 28-year-old could force himself into the Italy national team, and where he’s likely to be playing next season. Cacciatore’s agent said the possibility represented a dream for the player, and believes he could bring something to Antonio Conte’s squad. Pressed on the future of the defender ,Quadrati said he is still contracted to Sampdoria, but he’s more than happy to remain with Chievo after the progression the club has made this season. “That's right, the Azzurri is a dream. He can be useful for this national team, he can play both left and right, and at the moment is proving to be one of the best full-backs around. He still has two more years left on his contract, and I can tell you at Chievo he is fine. This next summer could be good," said the player’s agent. In the last window there were claims in Italy that Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino was interested in the much travelled defender, and was in attendance for Chievo’s game with Empoli in January. Leeds United followed this up by sending scouts to the game between Lazio and Chievo that same month, to get a further lowdown on the player. QPR were also been showing an interest in Cacciatore, but it seems from his agent’s comments he may remain in Serie A.

From the Daily Mail Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers keep tabs on Dundee star man Kane Hemmings- Star Dundee striker has a £250,000 buy-out clause in his current contract - Aston Villa and QPR are among the clubs monitoring his developments - Hemmings has scored 25 goals for Scottish Premiership side Dundee By SIMON JONES FOR MAILONLINE PUBLISHED: 08:38 EST, 28 April 2016 | UPDATED: 08:38 EST, 28 April 2016 Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers are among the clubs monitoring developments with Dundee striker Kane Hemmings. The 24-year-old has a £250,000 buy-out clause in his contract and has also been followed by Derby, Blackburn and Bolton this season. Hemmings, who hails from Burton upon Trent, has scored 25 goals for Scottish Premiership side Dundee and is in the running for Scotland's PFA player of the year awards. Both sides are preparing for a season in the Championship, with QPR failing to launch a successful return to the Premier League and Aston Villa dropping out of the top flight. Championship side QPR earned one too many draws this season as their bid for promotion stuttered with manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink now looking for some extra in attack. Villa on the other hand have only managed to find the back of the net 25 times this season with Rudy Gestede their top scorer with just five league goals. From talksport West Brom transfer news: Sandro open to permanent move to the Baggies from QPRBy talkSPORT - @talksport Friday, April 29, 2016 Sandro would welcome the chance to seal a permanent deal with West Brom but is prepared to keep his options open. The on-loan QPR midfielder is waiting to hear from the club over whether they will keep him. Albion have an option to make the deal permanent after they signed the Brazil international on loan from Rangers until the end of the season in January. His agent Luiz Paulo Chignall told Press Association Sport: "I don't know Sandro's future in this moment because we need to wait for West Brom and, maybe, the next window as well. Sandro has just one season more and then he is a free player. "He likes the atmosphere of West Bromwich, the directors, staff, players and supporters. "We have three matches yet. I think that after the end of the season the club will contact us." Sandro has made 11 appearances, six starts, for Tony Pulis' side to help them seal survival in the Barclays Premier League. He was a late substitute in Monday's 1-1 draw at Tottenham which derailed his former club's title bid. The 27-year-old has started three of the Baggies' last five matches but Press Association Sport understands they remain undecided over his future. Sandro moved to Spurs from Internacional in 2010 and joined QPR in 2014 but is not expected to return to Loftus Road with the club in the Sky Bet Championship. The Baggies host West Ham on Saturday and are 13th in the table on 41 points but have not won in their last six games. More from football league world footballleagueworld.co.uk/big-qpr-earner-set-for-swansea-move-club-finally-set-to-shift-hefty-48k-a-week-salary/?Big QPR earner set for Swansea move, club finally set to shift hefty £48k a week salaryDate: 5th May 2016 at 9:46 am Written by: Jonny Gorrie Queens Park Rangers winger Junior Hoilett is nearing a switch to Swansea City at the end of the season, according to Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones. The Canadian winger will see his deal at Loftus Road expire at the end of the season and the Rs’ relegation to the Championship last year, coupled with his reported £48,000 weekly wage packet, meant there was little chance of seeing that extended. German outfit Borussia Monchengladbach and Turkish side Besiktas are also thought to have retained an interest in the 25-year old, though it now appears the Swans have won the race. A tricky winger, he will join the likes of Wayne Routledge, Andre Ayew and Jefferson Montero in wide areas at the Liberty Stadium. Things have not really gone to plan for the Canada star since he left Blackburn Rovers as a promising youngster in 2012 to join the Rs’ top flight campaigns. Having never truly realised his potential, he’s been somewhat indicative of their yo-yoing between the first and second tier in recent seasons. He’s the latest big earner to come off the wage bill at Loftus Road, as manager Jimmy Floyd Hassellbaink aims to mould a squad capable of mounting a serious promotion push.
