....and more from Clubcall. Hope they take him off our books Fer hopes for dealSWANSEA, UPDATED: MARCH 10, 2016 5:00 AM Leroy Fer says he is happy at Swansea and will do all he can over the remaining games to earn a permanent deal with the club. The midfielder has impressed since arriving on loan from Queens Park Rangers, leading to assistant boss Alan Curtis singing his praises earlier this week. Fer impressed in the recent victory over Arsenal and then helped turn the game when he came off the bench in the 1-0 victory over his former club Norwich at the weekend. There are nine games remaining this season and Fer says he hopes to do enough during that time to earn a long-term contract at the Liberty Stadium. "I'm pleased I played for 40 minutes last Saturday and I think I had a good game," he said. "But I have to be consistent. "The assist was good, but in defence and attack I need to keep concentrating and try to be an important player for Swansea. There are still nine games to go. I will try to concentrate on those nine games. "What happens after we'll have to see. For now I'm just enjoying my time at Swansea. I'm really happy here." The youngster is out of contract at the end of the season, and has already been linked with a move to Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers. The Sun have claimed Roberto Martinez is looking at his options in preparation when Tim Howard returns to the USA in the summer, and Bentley is a possibility. Bentley will be a free agent in the summer when his contract expires, so any move to a new club would decided by a tribunal because of training costs. Everton are also reported to be interested in Marseille No.1 Steve Mandanda, who like Bentley will be out of contract this summer, but the Merseyside club will expect to face stiff competition to land the France international. Earlier in the season we covered reports that Leeds United sent officials Southend’s 1-0 victory against Port Vale in October. At the time it was claimed Leeds United are again interested in the 22 year old stopper after being linked with him in the past, and they could look to take advantage of his current contract situation. QPR have also been linked with Bentley in recent months after they tabled a bid of £1.25m for the player last summer.

More on the Gladwin recall from the72 the72.co.uk/50939/qpr-attacker-given-chance-to-impress-at-loftus-road/?QPR attacker given chance to impress at Loftus RoadBY DANIEL PENTLAND ON MAR 29, 2016 Queens Park Rangers attacker Ben Gladwin will be given a further chance to impress at Loftus Road after being recalled from his loan spell at Championship rivals Bristol City before schedule according to Get West London. The 23 year old joined Bristol City on loan following a difficult start to his career in West London after joining The R’s last summer from Swindon Town but has been recalled by The Hoops after struggling to break into the first team picture at Ashton Gate. Gladwin made just one appearance during his temporary spell with The Robins with his time at the club dominated by injury problems. On his return to fitness, the form of other players has prevented the player making further appearances for Bristol City. Parent club QPR have now made the decision to recall the player and it is understood that Manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will now assess the player’s attributes during the remaining matches of the season to determine whether Gladwin can be an asset for the club next season. The Hoops are expecting to make major changes to their squad at the end of the season with the playing budget subject to a significant reduction going forward and it is unknown whether Gladwin will fit into the club’s new structure beyond the summer.

....and more from footballleagueworld footballleagueworld.co.uk/swansea-city-eyeing-move-for-on-loan-qpr-defender/?Swansea City eyeing move for on loan QPR defenderDate: 2nd April 2016 at 7:41 pm Written by: Elliott Wheat-Bowen Premier League outfit Swansea City are eyeing up a move for Gabriele Angella, who is currently on loan at Sky Bet Championship side Queens Park Rangers, according to Transfer Market Web. The 26-year-old centre half has featured fifteen times for the West London side in the Championship so far this season – his most recent appearance coming in last night’s 3-2 defeat at home to Middlesbrough. As Angella has struggled to break through at his parent club Watford this season, the loan move to QPR has provided him with a regular opportunity for first team football and to re-find his form. A move to Swansea might be enticing to Angella, as it could be the catalyst for his Premier League career that has stuttered and stalled. Not only could he force his way into a Premier League side’s defence, it would also reunite him with Francesco Guidolin, Swansea’s current head coach. This may come as a surprise to some considering how Angella has failed to make an impact at Watford since they gained promotion, forcing him to drop down to the Championship. Yet, it comes as little surprise really as Guidolin and Angella worked together at both Udinese and Empoli and as Guidolin looks to shape his squad, Angella would be a reliable option for him, and could provide good competition and cover as a defensive option.

Allan has experience playing south of the border, and has also been linked with a move to Championship sides Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers. The Scottish Sun have reported today that Wigan Athletic are the latest club to show an interest in the 24-year-old as manager Gary Caldwell plans for next season. The North West club look a certainty to grab one of the two automatic League One promotion spots, and subsequently are already looking to recruit players in preparation for the Championship. It’s been claimed Wigan Athletic will offer Allan a one-year loan deal, but will face stiff competition to land the Celtic man. Allan only joined Celtic on a four year deal last summer from Hibernian, but hasn't figured in recent weeks. The midfielder's time in England was spent having loan spells at West Bromwich Albion, MK Dons, Portsmouth and Birmingham City.

From football league world footballleagueworld.co.uk/queens-park-rangers-and-brentford-weighing-up-move-for-27-goal-striker/?Queens Park Rangers and Brentford weighing up move for 27-goal strikerDate: 6th April 2016 at 7:52 pm Written by: Jerry Mallick | Comments (0) Football League clubs are queuing up to take a look at non-league youngster Dylan Kearney, according to Just Football. 18-year-old Hayes and Yeading United striker Kearney is yet to establish himself in the first team at the Conference South strugglers, but has hit 27 goals this season as captain of Hayes and Yeading U18s, attracting interest from QPR and Brentford. Kearney has been in sensational form for Hayes and Yeading in recent weeks scoring 18 goals in eight games for the youth teams, and captained his team to the Middlesex Youth Cup trophy in March. This was watched by QPR and Brentford, and Kearney has also had trials at Cardiff City earlier in the season. The teenager from Ireland is highly-rated at the club, who sit just above the relegation zone in the Conference South after a poor run. He broke through last season and scouts are now lining up to watch him. If reports are to be believed, Kearney is a name who could be the next to step up from non-league to the Football League, after players like Jamie Vardy. As a team with one of the lowest scoring records in League One, Fleetwood could use hungry young strikers in their squad to provide fresh blood. Brentford and QPR have watched him and others are expected to monitor his progress before the end of the season.

....but from getwestlondon www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/brentford-qpr-target-staying-put-11152029?Brentford and QPR 'target' staying put12:37, 7 APR 2016 UPDATED 12:37, 7 APR 2016 BY TIM STREET Manager insists Championship clubs have not enquired about Kearney Hayes & Yeading hot shot Dylan Kearney is not about to sign for Brentford or QPR , according to manager Garry Haylock. Kearney, 18, was this week linked with moves to the west London Championship rivals on the strength of 29 goals for Hayes' youth team this season. But first team boss Haylock dismissed it as speculation and hopes to see Kearney develop at his own pace with the Conference South club. He said: “I spoke to Andy Impey at QPR on Monday and Jon De Souza at Brentford on Tuesday, and Dylan was not mentioned once. These are people we have a relationship with who only have to pick up a phone, but Dylan is going nowhere. “We're talking about a talented kid, but he couldn't get a game when he went out on loan to Flackwell Heath. He's the star of the youth team at the moment, but men's football is a big step up from U18s football. “I'm sure if he scored 29 goals for our first team he'd be off. He's under contract, and we won't be putting any pressure on him. I look forward to seeing him develop here over the next 18 months or so.” Kearney, who bagged a brace for the U18s in their 5-2 win at Ashford Town (Middx) last night, is yet to score in eight starts and 16 substitute appearances for the first team. But he signed a first team contract last summer after finishing as top scorer in their Ryman Youth League winning side, and helped knock Brentford's U18s out of the Middlesex Youth Cup with a superb volley. The first team, meanwhile, have four games to save their Conference South status, starting away at Oxford City this Saturday. They went down 5-0 to league leaders Ebbsfleet United last Saturday, but Haylock added: "The performance was not as bad as the result suggests."

Former R Marcus Bignot is managing a guy at Solihull name of Akwasi Asante. Center forward with 17 goals in all competitions. Pace to burn, big lad. Couldn't stay healthy at Birmingham and they finally got rid of him but now he seems to be right health wise and has learned a bit of humility dropping down the leagues. Scored a first half hat trick last week for them.
He's Dutch, managed by a former Ranger, hungry and looking for redemption and only 23. Should be be on our radar?

From TWTD/Independent Ipswich Town. www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/29476/?QPR Midfielder Henry LinkedSaturday, 16th Apr 2016 09:38 Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy is reported to be considering bringing QPR midfielder Karl Henry to Portman Road in the summer. According to The Sun, the Blues manager is weighing-up whether to make a move for his former Wolves skipper if the 33-year-old isn't offered new terms by the West Londoners with his current contract up at the end of the season. Speaking earlier in the week Henry, who was amongst the Wolves players often linked with the Blues during the early days of McCarthy’s tenure at Town, said he was yet to hear whether he would be offered a new deal at Loftus Road. "I'm sure I’ll knock on the door at some stage," he told Get West London. " My contract is up and, if they want me, I'd love to be a part of things. We'll see how the rest of the season goes and what they want to do. Fingers crossed I can be here next year.” The Town squad would already appear to be well covered for combative central midfielders even if Henry, who has been a regular in the QPR side this season, were to become available in the summer.

From hereisthecity www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/04/17/report-suggests-qpr-could-raid-charlton-athletic-for-22-year-old/?Report suggests QPR could raid Charlton Athletic for 22-year-old Jordan CousinsQueens Park Rangers have been linked with a move for Charlton Athletic midfielder Jordan Cousins. According to the Daily Star, Queens Park Rangers could make a summer move to sign Charlton Athletic ace Jordan Cousins. The R's have somewhat underachieved this season, but brighter times appear to be on the horizon with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at the helm, and a huge summer of arrivals and departures is imminent. In fact, Hasselbaink could yet attempt to swoop on one of his former clubs, as Jordan Cousins of Charlton Athletic - a team Hasselbaink played for towards the end of his career - is believed to be on QPR's radar The Daily Star report that Cousins is likely to leave Charlton once their imminent relegation to League One is confirmed, and QPR are a possible destination for him this summer. The 22-year-old, who can play in central midfield or out wide, has been a regular for the Addicks since breaking into the first team back in 2013, and he even scored against QPR in the 2-1 defeat for Charlton last week. A former England youth international, Cousins has potential and may be tempted by a move to Loftus Road, given that he can stay close to his roots in London, and look to kick on with a QPR side in far less turmoil than a Charlton side who are in disarray. Cousins' departure would be a blow for Charlton though, who have seen a host of youth products leave the club in recent years, such as Harry Arter, Jonjo Shelvey, Carl Jenkinson, Diego Poyet and Joe Gomez - and Cousins could be the latest name to add to that list if QPR do make a move this summer.

From talk sport Transfer report: Besiktas working on deal to sign QPR winger Junior HoilettBy talkSPORT - @talksport Tuesday, April 19, 2016 Besiktas have made an approach for QPR winger Junior Hoilett, claim reports in Turkey. The Canadian is out of contract at Loftus Road at the end of the season and is understood to be seriously considering a move to Istanbul to join up with international team-mate Atiba Hutchinson. According to Turkish newspaper Milliyet, Hutchinson has been acting as the intermediary in the deal and is hopeful of convincing Hoilett to leave London in June. Besiktas have been keen on Hoilett for a while, having tried to sign him last summer, and believe the prospect of playing Champions League football next term will be enough to persuade the 25-year-old to move to Turkey. Hoilett began his senior career at Blackburn and spent five years at Ewood Park before signing for QPR in 2012.
