Hi guys, so good to see so many familiar names on here. Andy(longunmen) told me it was all happening here, so I decided to check in My first game was November 1975 against Newcastle and we lost(1-3 I think!) By the way, I was only a baby ;D

I remember the controversy when Vic Mobley - His Sheff Wed manager didn't know this was happpening. Sold off by his Chairman "Forty Years Ahead of his Time"
Say what you like about Mobley: But he LOOKED like a great Center half (and he was heavily capped at U-23 level)

Started supporting in 75-76 season but first game not until 1984-85 season when we beat Arsenal 1-0 through a Robbie James goal I think.

I supported QPR since I was a nipper and I am 40 now (though I only look 30).
First match was 1982 Cup Final Replay. My mum worked at Wembley and managed to get us tickets. It was amazing and gutting all in one. Too much for me to take in really!

Can't remember when exactly but my feet never touched the ground when leaving after a match. Must have been about 13 or 14 ish. Loved watching Mike Keen, the Morgan twins, the Springett brothers, Les Allen, Mick Leach, especially Rodney & Stanley amongst others. The atmosphere was electric and you could almost touch the players. Awesome!

Having been born & brought up on the Queens Park estate they are obviously in my blood!, my first clear memory was watching Brian Bedford score one of his many goals for the 'R's (39 in one season . . . .if only we had a striker that can do that now!!!!) back in the late fifties, Like so many loyal supporters now looking forward to the forthcoming season in the Prem.

What a nice first post. Thanks and welcome (We probably have enough posters from the pre-1967 period, to actually have a mini forum discussion...Maybe that's something to work on?)

I started in 1967, I lived on the wormholt and with England winning the world cup and Rangers also winning a cup, I was hooked on football. Loved every years after that even when we were not so good, still had some fun days

Aged six at the time, I went to my first match in 1976. It was a bit on-and-off after 1979, when the family moved out of London, but I started attending a lot more games again in the early 1990s. Since then I've had seasons of barely going at all (stints living abroad) and times of having a S/T and going to every home match and plenty away fixtures too. For anyone interested in the tale of the twists and turns in one man's relationship with the club over a 35 year period, a bit I wrote on my blog might be of interest. It's long though, and there's a lot of crap about my own state of mind: thisismyengland.blogspot.com/2011/06/my-love-for-queens-park-rangers.html
