My first game was home to Blackpool in August 1969. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure we won 6-1 that night.

I know I have my own thread for this project, but I thought it might be ok to mention the DVD in this thread too, seeing as there are so many longstanding fans in here. Basically, I'm producing a DVD of fans memorabilia, old film and video, player interviews. This will be sold through the club shop and also the internet. Profits will go to the Kiyan Prince Foundation. Please feel free to contact me if you think you have something of interest. Go to www.qprdvd.com for more info. Thank you!

Born in 64, and slept in a Blue and White Hooped cott. My Old man lived just around the corner from the ground, and he played for the supporter's club. He became a fan when Alec Stock was in charge, (late 50's I think?) He would tell me about how he and his mate, Dave Fowl, would sit on the bank and cheer the QP's on. He also made the walk with West Broms coffin in 66 before watching the game at Wembley. As for me, I can't remember my first game (the brain cells are going) but Jim Gregory was Chairman, and Gorden Jago was manager I believe, as for the players, Marsh/El'Tel/Mancini/Leach/Thomas/Givens to name a few, it must have been around 1972/73 I think? My biggest memory as a kid was when we played an unbeaten Leeds Utd under Don (back hander) Revie, my Dad made me a blue and white stool to stand on so I could see the game, I think we drew 1-1 after we had a goal disallowed late on, we were all over them as I remember, we were robbed I also remember my Dad picking me up by the scruff of my neck, as every Leeds fan (or so it seemed) sprinted across the pitch towards us, when we got to the car, their was a coppers helmet on the wing mirror, dad saw his chance, but just as he went to stick it in the car, said copper returned to fetch it, I then looked at my Dad and said sorry, "sorry for what" he asked, "I forgot to pick up my stool Dad" I said, he laughed, we then started the journey back home to Sussex, with a flask of hot tea and a couple of ham roll's, listening to 5 live? on the radio....good times

1973 wolves 2 qpr 4 I was only 7 years old. all this time I thought is was 74/75, that's what happens when you're the only qpr supporter in town. Though I meant someone who said he met a guy who said he was a rangers supporter from penang, said their class team was penang something rangers, and they were all qpr supporters, this was the early 70's.

I feel quite a pup looking at other peoples comments The first time I went to Rangers was late 70's at home to Notts Forest. We lost 2-0 and went on to get relegated, while Forest went on to win the league

40 years this year for me. I was actually an Arsenal fan until I was 7 but my dad, being shepherds bush born and an Rs fan, wouldn't take me to Highbury. After Arsenal lost in the FA cup final to Leeds in 1972, he saw how disappointed I was and thought he'd help me get used to that feeling by dragging me along to watch QPR! I can remember the 1st game he took me to was Orient away and we lost 2-0 so I got used to it quite quickly. If memory serves, we won 3-1 in the return match which I was also at.

37 years,
Don't remember a lot about it as I was only 4, but mum tells me we lost 1-0 at home to Norwich 1974 season - I thought it was a 0-0 draw, if any one can remember. One other thing, my metalwork teacher at school used to tell me he played for the r's back in the 60's, his name was John McClelland. I think he said he played on the wing, anyone recall him?
