Well only 9 days 5 hours to go until midnight on the 31st ! Anything Re the Transfer Window you can add on this thread if you like. Players you would like in , Players you would like out . How much we will be spnding in this time . How much should we spend ?? etc etc . What loans we can go for ! Who might we het rid off? Who might we sell ?? Who might we loan out ?? Also found this site shows Players we have bought and sold over the last 5-6 years . www.transferleague.co.uk/league-tables/2006-2011.htmlThis part was interesting , stating spent 16 million since 2006 but only had back in less than 2 ?? What a terrible return ?? Anyhow we have spent nearly an average of 3 million on players bought in less than what we sold ! Or have a 14 million deficit on the players we bought to ones sold in that time! So out of the 20 Premier League Teams , 7 loss less than us and 12 lost more ! Tried to think who we sold in the last 5 years came up with these ! We sold Routs , Camp , Legs , Blackstock and Stewart , any i missed? ?? maybe they dont count undisclosed fees? Anyhow back with original thread please Add a prediction , For the next 9 Days. How many bought players in ? 3 How many loans in ? 2 How much spent ? 12 Million.

Would love to see Crouch back be it on loan or perm, Barton on a free makes a lot of sense as he is an excellent player and would be much better value than Parker for that reason. Two full backs a must, names already mentioned such as Betrand/Van Arnolt perhaps and i think we would have a pretty decent squad.
On the outgoing side, it seems clear that Cookie, Rowlands, Pellican and Alberti have absolutely no future at QPR and they should be moved on/paid off, and it appears that Hulse amongst others would struggle to make the 25 if and when new players come in.

How many players brought in - 4 How many loans - 1 How much spent - £11.5m
Defenders - This is the area we need the most additions. Onouha and Ridgewell should be our priority targets, while trying to get either Bertrand or Van Haanholt on loan from the w*nkers down the road. I've seen other sites linking us with Wayne Bridge but I'm not too sure about him.
Midfield - As KLR says, this part of the pitch doesn't need much work. Obviously we need cover for the Faurlin, Derry partnership but I really don't know who we could bring in who is A. Cheap B. Premier League quality and C. Willing to sit on the bench until one of them gets injured. If we were to get an expensive midfielder I would rather have Cole, Barton, Jenas to Parker. I was talking to a West Ham fan today and he said Parker has looked pretty pony so far this season and had started going downhill towards the end of last season. Also with Parker we get no re-sale value.
Wingers - This is an area we have to get some Premier League quality in. Someone with pace who can run at defenders and get a good cross into the box. Also it would be great if whoever is brought in has a good shot as well so he can cut inside. Personally I would love SWP in a Rangers shirt but he isn't everyone's cup of tea. I've seen suggestions elsewhere of Max Gradel from Leeds. I wanted us to sign him during last season but I've changed my mind. Although he did score 3 goals against us last season, he has a very fiery temper and gets sent of frequently. Marvin Emnes would be a quality signing and, although he did just sign a new 3 year deal at Boro, should be relatively cheap.
Strikers - Doesn't need any new additions.

Outgoing - We need to get rid of Hulse, Borrowdale, Cook, Rowlands, Pellican, Alberti and Vine. It also seems Gorkks is on his way out as well.

I would be very pleased if we signed Onuoha. Other defenders I would like us to consider are Bassong , Ridgewell or Anton Ferdinand plus one of the Chels*** left backs on loan.
Also perhaps we could push our luck with West Ham & make a cheeky little bid for Jack Collinson.
On players we have sold in recent years you can add Cookie to your list!

I would always welcome Crouch back to LR , Wonder if Harry will let him go on loan if Adebayor comes in . Of course Keane has already gone so maybe Keane out , Adebay in ! I like Barton as a Player but he does get sent off a fair bit , that worries me and how he would get on with Tarbs.

I would hope Harles that Barton would see very quickly that Tarbs is a match winner and the most skillfull player he has seen and would become his fan and minder.

do you know what harlow i think the window shuts 1st sep because of the bank holiday, but dont hold me to that.
players we need in, without a doubt pace on the flanks, swp would do nicely and there is a young player at spurs who played last season a few times cant remember his name though, i"m sure he played right back, a expeirenced centre back would be nice to, midfield needs bolstering with some quality, i know he isnt everyones cup of tea but craig bellamy has loads to offer still and would come with plenty of prem know how, and you never know we might get crouchy back that would be nice.
how many players in? 5 how many loans? 3 how much spent? 5 million

And in regards to Barton, If Neil can control Taarabt, he can control Barton who actually does have some skill despite his antics. And he is still young.

I guess if you want to put it into a little context: It's big money for us - It's obviously less than one Cheslea/Spurs/Man Ut/Liverpool/Man City (And if they ever spend) Arsenal....
And it's a lot less than Stoke were apparently prepared to splash out on Crouch et al...
And Leicester are going while in Division II....
So this is bare minimum (and with all that TV money...)>...And points out again the shame/scandal of what Briatore/Ecclestone did in the summer

Today's Daily Mail linking Ridgewell to Everton and Celtic and Onouha to Everton.
Am I the only one getting rather worried about the amount of time left and not getting the players we're after?? We need to make some signings soon.

have to think as warnock does rory,
although he is exited about the funds now given to him it is probable that the targets he wants now are the same at the end of last season.
remember that he wouldn't of known he had f**k all to spend till pre season, hence the enthusiasm and relief now from neil.
but most of these targets are now gone, Graham, cms, naughton, routledge etc.
so who are the equivalent?

Queens Park Rangers are believed to be looking at taking Luke Young back to London, skysports.com understands. The Aston Villa full-back would no doubt be open to the chance of moving back to the capital. QPR are looking to bring in up to five players before next week's deadline and Neil Warnock is keen to strengthen in every department. 32-year-old Young has been involved in the opening two Premier League games, but Villa boss Alex McLeish would seemingly be willing to do a deal. That would be because he already has Spurs' Alan Hutton firmly in his sights and, having managed him with Rangers and Scotland, would love to bring him to Villa Park. Villa made enquiries for Hutton earlier this summer, but would only move for him if they sold players. www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_7119509,00.html

I'll be Happy with that , a HARLOW boy , why not get Ambrose aswell , 2 Harlow boys ! Seriously though , maybe once we get a bigger name will be easier in getting others. We have Bootroyd and DJ quite big names already , but would they make other players think , yes QPR. I Think Gabbidon and Dyer might sway Parkers mind to join. I suppose you could say Neil has 12 names to sign four players
Something like Parker , if no , Barton if no end up with Bullard etc J Cole , if no SWP ,if no end up with Puncheon. Onuaha , if no Young , if no Bertrand The thing about Onuaha which makes him so attractive , can play Centre , Left or Right , Young plays right only i think and Bertrand left only .
Must admit going to be a struggle , Neil may run out of time to spend what he has now and may have to wait until Jan to do more business. I suppose that will give more of the team a chance to prove themselves and hopefully by Jan we are still in the mix with the likes of Wigan ,Blackburn,Norwich and Swansea.

Even with the budget it will be very difficult to attract the players Warnock wants.

Would prefer a younger player to Young, probably only has one good year left in him. As Harlow said our number 1 defensive target should be Onouha, he can play all defensive positions and is quite young. I think if we were to loan in a young full back from Chelsea it will be right at the end of the transfer window.

Lots of tyres being kicked at the moment. Onouha definitely the prize (young, quality, versatile and in an area of real need), Parker/Cole/Crouch a bit of statement of intent type signings which would be good but not essential, Barton good player lousy human being, SWP speed speed and more speed, I'd like Bertrand (even better if he was perm).....Young/Bullard/Yobo/Ridgewell far more likely/achievable signing
