Thanks for everyone contributing on this thread it sort of went on for an eternity. There was some good banter and tense times as it all unfolded. Dont think we did too bad , bet than what we could have hoped for in 13 days. Bassong and Crouch orBellamy would have been the icing . If Bellamy ends up a bench warmer then serves him right . But we can get another Defender/Striker in Jan . Need to push on now until Jan , we have one win , if we can get another 5-6 by the time the window opens will be in a great position. Cheers

@fakkikovalainen Heikki Kovalainen Looks like whatever #QPR are doing is attractive enough for them to make good signings. Well done and good luck for the future!

Gotta be our longest thread as such. Mac's photo of the past would be there in a distant 2nd.

January 2012 will be interesting as I'm sure some good player currently at clubs won't get into squad....looking forward to seeing Chelsea/Man City/Man Utd's final 25, theres bound to be a striker and CB who'd get into our squad.

Bump SWP Joins QPR www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/14727963Play media Shaun Wright-Phillips 31 August 2011 Last updated at 22:55 GMT Share Facebook Twitter print QPR sign Shaun Wright-Phillips from Manchester City Shaun Wright-Phillips has completed his move from Manchester City to QPR. The 29-year-old winger has joined the Loftus Road club in a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. He made 93 appearances for City after rejoining from Chelsea in 2008 following three years in the capital. "After speaking to the manager Neil Warnock and seeing the direction he thinks the club is going, I wanted to help make it happen," said the England international. "Neil Warnock just told me to be energetic and create goals. I'm very excited to be here. It's a big club. I just want to get back playing football." I'm looking to seeing my old mate Joey, it should be a good laugh." QPR manager Neil Warnock told the club website: "I'm just really excited that we've been able to attract a player like Shaun to the club. "Right from day one, him and Joey Barton were at the top of our list and we've managed to get both of them, so I couldn't be more pleased. "He's got a great attitude, a great character and he just wants to improve and impress as a footballer. "Shaun's so positive and that's what we're looking for from all players that join QPR."

How much did we pay, let me go and get the bucket quick .... We lost money on all all those rushed signings made in the August by Warnock didn't we . It was all a crazy rush ... Lost money on Anton Ferdinand , SWP, Luke Young , not sure if we made anything on Dj Cambell ? Barton we still have . How much did we pay for Anton lol . All those players we rushed and bought we hardly got anything for.
So many players bought but hardly any making us any money .... Has to change ...Well in fairness it is changing . We have bought three youngsters recently and are buying younger players now hopefully it will carry on like this .
Did we make anything on Danny Simpson ? At least when we sell Taarabt we will make something even after the Spurs cut..
This is thread was quite decent , 43 pages and lots of fun but only tiny compared to that record breaker sitting on page 2 . 125 page monster thread. 127,217 views .
