Im happy to let Neil decide if he wants him Jay , my guess is if he hasnt made up his mind by lunchtime tomorrow Neil might just tell him deal or no deal , if it turns out he screwed around with us to get a bigger fish , i'm very angry with him for doing that. But hes a decent player - 90 out of 100 Geordies would say he was there player of the season last year , and they dont want him to go. Yes he comes with baggage and a temper , so did Adel and so have others in the history of QPR FC but if Neil wants him i say go get him , when NW signed Hill and Derry i know like others i cringed at the signings so we shouldnt worry about Barton.

end of the day i think prob 50% of players who we try to get now won't have us as their #1 choice, so we should expect some dragging of feet until they sign.
the only difference here is that JB is a very vocal person (both on Twit and to live Media) so we get the soundbites we ordinarily don't get.
Instead of "x has signed", we get "I want 24 hours to think it over".
It's a new (impatient) world!

Managed to hear all the neg vibes on the Alan Brazil breakfast show as in "Barton opens his mouth and with the greatest respect to QPR fans, ends up at Rangers" Yeah cheers Alan, thanks for that from an ex Rangers player. I have to say as i have said on another thread, i have the greatest respect for NW,and trust him i do, but this drags our name through the mud, he is not a Ranger, i dont want him in hoops no matter how good he is. HE DOES NOT WANT TO BE HERE , SHOW HIM THE DOOR. WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS PREMIERSHIP OR NOT. cheers, Jay. ;D

.Gunners set to loan Traore to Prem neighbours Published 22:58 25/08/11 By Football Spy . Neil Warnock is lining up a loan move for Arsenal defender Armand Traore. QPR boss Warnock has launched a bid to take the Senegal international for the season, and expects to seal a deal before next Wednesday's transfer deadline. Traore was on loan at Italian giants Juventus last season, and will be sent out again by Arsene Wenger this term to gain first-team experience. The 21-year-old, who came on as a second-half substitute for the Gunners against Udinese in midweek, is set to complete his move to Loftus Road early next week. Warnock is preparing for a frenetic final few days of the transfer window, with West Ham and England midfielder Scott Parker, Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy and Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas also on the radar. Well at least he's a defender www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=19069Town, QPR and West Ham are all understood to have been alerted to the availability of Slovenian international defender Marko Šuler. The 28-year-old is currently with KAA Gent in Belgium but is looking to move on. Šuler is unhappy at Gent because manager Trond Sollied plays him at left-back rather than the central defensive position he has occupied while winning 27 caps and scoring two goals for his country. Gent are believed to be willing to allow the 6ft 2in tall defender to leave if they receive the right offer. Rated at around the €2 million mark, Šuler played youth football with hometown club NK Slovenj Gradec, then moved over the border to Austrian clubs SAK Klagenfurt and Kärnten. In 2001 he was back in Slovenia with Dravograd, before departing for Gorica in 2004. After four seasons there, he joined Gent in 2008. www.markosuler.net/www.markosuler.net/Videos.html

I take your point Harl ( a bit calmer now), Brazil just wound me up on his show yesterday with that comment. If he proves me wrong fine i will accept it and admit, but i think the man is a bully and a thug, not sure if he give two hoots about us. cheers, Jay.

I want to change mine. I would like to replace Puncheon with SWP because after what Neil said about Southampton's board today I doubt they will do business with us. Also like to take Simpson out because today he rubbished reports linking with a move away from NUFC. That was just a ploy by Neil to put the Southampton board under pressure to sort their shit out. Might get him for half the price as they really want him off their wage list.

Traore and Parker would be great , but from my mate who is a Man City fan said Bellamy is more trouble than he's worth . He would rather see him go to Liverpool !!!

To be honest im not two fussed about Bellamy , i feel in what we have already and if SWP and Barton sign our midfield will be good enough to stay up in the Prem now. Should make our other 2-3 HIGH Quality defenders this is the area we wont stay in he Prem
At the moment we are looking a better side that Blackpool but without defenders see the same sort of scorelines , ie we score two but other teams score three. Hopefully defenders will come in Mon ,Tue and Weds..

IN negotiations still this morning with QPR, Media rights and other things were discussed late last night with his advisors , should be reloved one way or another today according to Sky at 9.40 am. Nobody else has stepped up to the plate and offered as much as us. Still interested in Parker aswell.....

Barton will probably need until Wednesday morning to think and will let us have his decision then! Just think of the transfers we could have had if T and C had not stitched us up. They are probably laughing now.
