No new transfers, nor new managers, nor new owners, nor no Stadium. Nothing new except we maintain a pace that probably will keep us in this division, but if it doesn't it will be real transferr news. This thread needed fattening so I posted. Perhaps no news is good news.

Motherwell striker Louis Moult is the latest player in Scotland to be linked with QPR.
The R’s have been linked with several players north of the border during successive transfer windows, usually after a scout from the club had travelled to Scotland to watch a game.
And the Daily Record reckon a January bid is being prepared for the Stoke-born Moult, whose contract expires in the summer.
It comes after QPR chief scout Gary Penrice watched the last couple of Motherwell matches.
The Daily Record declare that “QPR boss Ian Holloway is now an admirer after favourable reports from Penrice.”

Asked my Motherwell supporting mate for his take on Louis Moult, here's what he said... Which all sounds interesting. He says that he's had a pretty rough time, plying his trade in non-league and doing shift work to support his family at the same time.

From westlondonsport www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-qpr-ghoddos-linked-football-06122017Transfer gossip: QPR still being linked with Ostersunds forwardBy West London Sport 06/12/2017 Some of the recent transfer speculation involving QPR… Saman Ghoddos continues to be linked with QPR.The Iran forward, who plays for Swedish side Ostersunds, has been repeatedly described as a QPR target by several media outlets since being among the host of players linked with Rangers by Get West London during the summer transfer window. It was claimed that Rangers, currently working to a restricted budget largely because of Financial Fair Play rules, were in the running to sign Ghoddos for a fee in excess of £2m. He has never been among the club’s transfer targets. N’Kunku linked againQPR have also recently been linked again with Paris St-Germain midfielder Christopher N’Kunku. Italian website Calciomercato reckon Rangers are admirers of the 20-year-old, who has reportedly told PSG that he wants to leave because he is unhappy about his lack of first-team action. Again, the story appears to be based on N’Kunku being among the players Get West London linked with QPR during the summer transfer window. Speculation over EisaThe Daily Mail say Charlton and Oxford United are considering making offers for Wealdstone winger Abobaker Eisa, who has been looked at by QPR. Rangers have watched the 21-year-old, who previously played for Uxbridge and has scored six goals in his last six matches and 10 in total so far this season. He is among a host of non-League players Rangers have watched this season. The Mail claim Charlton and Oxford are keen on Eisa and that as well as QPR there are other Championship clubs showing an interest.

....and from getwestlondon www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/transfer-talk-europa-league-star-14000649Transfer talk: Europa League star breaks silence on QPR linkThe striker, who was reported to have been the subject of a £1.9m bid from the Hoops, has spoken out about speculation ahead of the January transfer window. By Phil Spencer 11:00, 6 DEC 2017 Supposed QPR target Saman Ghoddos has broken his silence surrounding a potential move in January. The striker, who was widely linked with a move away from current club Ostersund says that his future is in the hands of his club and his agent, as speculation looks set to begin ahead of the transfer window re-opening. Speaking to Fotbol Direkt, Ghoddos said: “I have two years left on my contract with Östersund, so it’s up to Kindberg (OFK chairman) and my agent if I stay or go.” Reports suggested that the Hoops made a bid in the region of £1.9m over the summer for the front-man who has enjoyed competing in the Europa League this term for the Swedish side. However news of the offer was never confirmed from the west London side. Speaking to Fotboll Direkt over the summer, Ostersund Chairman Daniel Kindberg said: "I will not comment on the details, but we have received bids. "If there is a good bid for both the club and the player, then we will listen. I would not mind 40m Krona (£3.8m), but we have not set a fee because we are not at that stage yet.” According to HITC, the Swedish club are now holding out for a fee in the region of 50m Krona (£4.5m), a fee which is surely out of reach for the Hoops in their current situation. Spending at Loftus Road was limited over the summer as they awaited news on their Financial Fair Play hearing, and with the news that they are set to face a hefty fine, the chances of splashing this amount on a striker unproven in England are minimal.

Celtic are as aware as everyone else about Caulker's current status so there is no motivation to have him hanging around up there while still unable to play. From getwestlondon www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfer-talk-qpr-outcast-yeni-14061600Transfer talk: QPR outcast Yeni Ngbakoto tipped for January return to French Ligue 1 with Guingamp, Toulouse and Nantes reportedly interested in a moveAccording to reports in L'Equipe, the attacking midfielder is being tracked by Ligue 1 side EA Guingamp as they look to bolster their creative edge. By Phil Spencer 11:42, 20 DEC 2017 QPR outcast Yeni Ngbakoto has been tipped for a return to France after a disjointed start to the season. According to reports in L'Equipe, the attacking midfielder is being tracked by Ligue 1 side EA Guingamp as they look to bolster their creative edge. The DR Congo international was widely tipped with a move away from Loftus Road over the summer after indications that he wasn't set to feature in Ian Holloway's plans. Fast-forward six months, and Ngbakoto has played just 142 minutes in the Championship this term, confirming the fact that he is deemed surplus to requirements in west London. The winger has previously been linked with the likes of Nantes, Angers and Toulouse, but it's Guingamp who reportedly lead the chase for the unsettled 25-year-old.

What kent was talking about. From getwestlondon www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfer-talk-qpr-could-offer-14080889Transfer talk: QPR could offer former Peterborough man Conor Washington as part of deal to sign Aston Villa and Sunderland target Jack MarriottThe Northern Ireland international has struggled to adapt to life in the Championship, having scored just 12 goals in 81 appearances for the club. By Phil Spencer 09:30, 26 DEC 2017 QPR could be about to offer Conor Washington in an attempt to sign Peterborough United striker Jack Marriott, according to HITC. The Northern Ireland international has struggled to adapt to life in the Championship, having scored just 12 goals in 81 appearances for the club. It's a stark contrast to the form he showed for the League One side, scoring 15 in 31 games before signing for the Hoops in January 2016. Peterborough are likely to be keen on a move for Washington, who could provide a suitable replacement for in-demand striker Jack Marriott. The Daily Mail reported that the R's, Sunderland and Aston Villa could be willing to make a move if Peterborough were willing to do a deal for around £2.5m The striker has spent much of his career on loan to the likes of Woking, Gillingham and Carlisle United, but since moving to Luton in 2015 has enjoyed a rapid rise. Marriott has scored 18 goals in 31 appearances so far this season, and with QPR desperate to improve their attacking line, some form of part exchange deal could be the ideal solution.

To be honest Ashdown it was my new year resolution to give up drinking in 2018 until we won a game. I actually kept it up but that great result against Cardiff means I did not suffer too long.
