15 Million when compared with other stupid prices being bandied around for lesser players. Considering his stats and the mad money being lobbed about, nothing would surprise me really. When you've got players who have barely scored professionally getting close to ten million to play up front in the Championship then it's anyone's guess.

....and from the Offies match report www.qpr.co.uk/fixtures/under-23/2017/leeds-united-u23s-v-qpr-u23s/2 Leeds United U23s 1 QPR U23s13th April 2018 7:00 PM QPR Under-23s suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of ten man Leeds United on Friday evening at Elland Road. Paul Hall’s youngsters led in Yorkshire seven minutes before half-time courtesy of an Aramide Oteh strike. However, two second-half goals from Leeds’ Alex Machuda handed the Whites victory despite being reduced to ten men 16 minutes from time. Oteh had an early sighter on the Leeds goal when he fired over from the edge of the area on eight minutes before the R’s forward then squandered a big chance for his side. After being slipped in on goal Oteh found himself one-on-one with Whites keeper Kamil Miazek but the Leeds stopper produced a good save to deny the Rangers striker with just ten minutes gone. At the other end Hoops custodian Marcin Brzozowski was then called into action to deny Jack Clarke before Oriol Rey shot wide of the post for the hosts. Brzozowski was again on hand to prevent an opener at Elland Road from Alex Machuda in the area as QPR rode out an onslaught from their Yorkshire opponents. Chay Tilt failed to capitalise from a poor Miazek clearance at the other end for the R’s as he dragged his shot wide on 28 minutes before the winger then forced a brilliant save from the keeper courtesy of a well-struck free-kick. However, QPR eventually took the lead in the 38th minute as a cross from the right caused havoc in the Leeds area and with Whites duo, Miazek and Rey colliding in the box Oteh smashed home to put the Hoops 1-0 up going into the break. Following the restart trialist defender, Joe Wilson called Miazek back into action with a good save on 56 minutes with Leeds registering their first chance of the second half on 71 minutes as Bryce Hosannah worked his way into the R’s box before firing over the crossbar. And two minutes later Leeds were level after Brzozowski fumbled Jordan Stevens shot and Machuda was there on the follow-up to tap in from close range to make it 1-1. The drama continued as less than 60 seconds later Leeds were reduced to 10 men as Romario Viera picked up his second yellow card of the night and duly received his marching orders. QPR nearly capitalised on their man advantage almost immediately as Oteh burst through before unleashing a stinging effort off the post and then seeing his effort from the rebound cleared away by Rey. The miss proved costly though as seven minutes from time ten-man Leeds went in front when Machuda fired in from the edge of the area after bring down teammate Clarke Oduor’s cross 18-yards from goal to make it 2-1. QPR U23s: Brzozowski, Wilson (Mesias 75), Paul, Phillips (Fox 67), Hamalainen, Ochieng, Owens (Akinola 61), Stylianides, Tilt, Alfa, Oteh.

From getwestlondon www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/qpr-arsenal-bristol-city-reading-14530635Transfer talk: QPR among Championship sides to express 'interest' in ex-Arsenal forwardAccording to reports in the Sun, QPR are one of several clubs interested in signing Dagenham & Redbridge forward Fejiri Okenabirhie. By Phil Spencer 12:04, 14 APR 2018 The season may be drawing to a close, but it appears that the rumour mill is starting to circle once again at Loftus Road. According to reports in the Sun, QPR are one of several clubs interested in signing Dagenham & Redbridge forward Fejiri Okenabirhie. The 22-year-old has impressed for the Daggers this term, and made the headlines after scoring a hat-trick for England C in their recent 3-2 victory over Wales. Okenabirhie has been labelled one of the best talents in non-league football, leading to reported interest from the Hoops. Okenabirhie joined Dagenham from Ryman League Premier Division side Harrow Borough in June 2016 after scoring ten goals in 23 appearances. He had started out with Arsenal's Academy before joining Stevenage where he played three times in League One before dropping down the divisions with Harrow. The striker, who can also play on the wing, is reportedly valued at £250,000 but could depart the National League club on a cut-price basis due to financial troubles at the East London club. However it's thought that QPR would face competition from Championship rivals Norwich City, Reading and Bristol City for the talented strikers signature. While these reports are unconfirmed, the Hoops do have previous for scouring the lower leagues for talent. Due to financial restrictions, the Hoops have opted to seek high potential, hungry young players who are keen to break to into the team at Loftus Road, with the likes of Paul Smyth, Bright Osayi-Samuel and David Wheeler being key examples. QPR were also close to signing Hendon striker Niko Muir in January; showing a willingness to cast an eye over any player who deserves a chance to impress.

From getwestlondon www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/qpr-jack-robinson-liverpool-hoops-14532265Exclusive: Jack Robinson admits that 'his time may be up' at QPR with rival clubs queuing for his signatureThe 24-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and has admitted for the first time that his future By Phil Spencer 20:00, 14 APR 2018 Jack Robinson has admitted that his time at QPR may be coming to an end after confirming that he's yet to receive a contract offer from the club. The former Liverpool man's current deal expires at the end of the season, and after establishing himself as one of Ian Holloway's key men, it appeared likely that he would be offered the chance to extend his stay at the club. However, with just three games remaining of the campaign, Robinson has admitted for the first time that his future is likely to be away from Loftus Road. Speaking exclusively to Get West London, Robinson said of his contract situation: "There's still nothing.
"I haven't had any contact yet, there's been no formal offer of a contract to me so I can't say much else on that."Asked if he thinks he'll be leaving at the end of the season, he said: "I think it's getting to that point where I've got to start thinking that my time is up here.
"I'll leave it up to the agents and I'll carry on doing what I've done here all season and play for the fans and the manager.
"Hopefully I can get a few more games in before the end of the season, but if not, then I've enjoyed my time here and we'll see what happens in the summer."Reports in the national press have linked with Robinson with a host of Premier League and Championship clubs, and with the news that he's yet to be offered a deal, it's inevitable that external interest will intensify in the coming weeks. When asked if he's had contact from elsewhere, Robinson said: "I tend to leave that to the agents. "Obviously there's talk; there's a lot of talk now we're getting to the end of the season but I don't want to speculate because there's been nothing formal from any club, but it's just one of them where we'll see what happens.

From getwestlondon - Manning on his way or just another GWL beat-up?! www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/qpr-manning-crystal-palace-celtic-14542014Crystal Palace and Celtic 'set to do battle' for QPR midfielder Ryan ManningSources close to Football Insider have said that the midfielder has been a long time target of the Green and White Hoops, with scouts keeping regular tabs on on his progress. By Phil Spencer 14:41, 17 APR 2018 QPR's Ryan Manning is attracting interest from Crystal Palace and Scottish giants Celtic, according to a report. Sources close to Football Insider have said that the midfielder has been a long time target of the Green and White Hoops, with scouts keeping regular tabs on on his progress. It's been a mixed season for the 21-year-old, who has struggled to hold down a place in Ian Holloway's first team plans. He has however performed excellently well in recent weeks, establishing himself on the right side of midfield and proving himself as a goalscoring threat, scoring two goals in 16 appearances. Manning, who turns 22 in June, has two years remaining on his current deal at Loftus Road and is thought to be a central part of Ian Holloway's plans going into the new season. However, with QPR under pressure to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations it's thought that he could be available if the correct asking price is met.
