....and from Newport's Offie County sign Tyler BlackwoodPUBLISHED 13:35 24th September 2015 Tyler Blackwood joins County on a twenty-eight day emergency loan... London born Tyler, started his career as a trainee at Northampton Town, before making a switch across the Atlantic to play college football in the States. Tyler's experience of playing in the States, during his time at the University of Tampa, was split between Tampa Spartans and South Florida Bulls. After returning from the US towards the end of the 2014-15 season, Tyler started to train with West-London outfit Queen's Park Rangers and impressed during a trial period. He was then offered a professional contract this summer at QPR. The striker made his debut for QPR at the beginning of August, replacing Matt Phillips in the second-half of a comfortable three-nil victory over Yeovil in the Capital One Cup. The initial period of this loan will last until our game against Bristol Rovers, on Saturday 24th of October. Tyler will be available for Saturdayâs match against Carlisle, subject to obtaining international clearance. From hereisthecity www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/09/24/ravel-morrison-refutes-qpr-january-transfer-rumours-on-twitter/?Ravel Morrison refutes QPR January transfer rumours on TwitterMathew Nash @hitcmathewnash 3 hours ago The Lazio midfielder is happy in the Italian capital. There is little doubting the fact that in recent time Ravel Morrison has grabbed the headlines for the wrong reasons. The former West Ham midfielder and Manchester United graduate has established himself as the bad boy of English football. His time at West Ham ended acrimoniously under Sam Allardyce, ending up leaving for Italy in order to get away from the negative press. He joined Lazio earlier this year, but because of transfer rules has only just began playing for his new club. However, he is reportedly unsettled in Italy. This week it was reported by the London Evening Standard that QPR were hopeful of bringing the player back to England and Loftus Road â where he spent a successful period on loan in 2014. However, judging by these Tweets yesterday, Morrison seems happy in the Italian capital: His situation warrants monitoring, as he continues to struggle making the Lazio first-team. But it seems as though QPR wonât lure the 22-year-old away from his exciting challenge.

Perhaps we should sort the defence out first Queens Park Rangers are considering a loan move for Arsenal striker Alex Iwobi, a club insider from the Championship club has informed Football League World. Iwobi is attracting interest from QPR The 19-year-old striker will be looking to gain valuable first team experience away from the Emirates, and is clearly a long way down the pecking order, and FLW have been informed that QPR are interested in taking the Gunners striker on an emergency loan, particularly with talismanic striker Charlie Austin out injured for a few weeks. The Nigerian born forward has scored goals at youth level but will no doubt be wanting to prove his ability on a much tougher stage, and QPR could be the perfect platform for him to exhibit his ability. Chris Ramseyâs side, however, showed they could find the net without Charlie Austin, after they scored four against Bolton in a dramatic late 4-3 win last Saturday. With Jay Emmanuel-Thomas the hero, scoring twice and the stoppage time winner, it will give manager, Chris Ramsey, a big headache as to whether he decides to add reinforcements to his squad. Morgan Amalfitano: West Ham midfielder leaves club Midfielder Morgan Amalfitano has left West Ham by mutual consent after falling out with manager Slaven Bilic. The 30-year-old Frenchman, who left Marseille for similar reasons a year ago before joining the Premier League club, had signed a new two-year contract with the Hammers in March. He made 28 appearances last season, and four this July in the Europa League. But he was sent to train with the the youth team in August after angering Bilic and has not played since.

From the Swindon Advertiser www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/13834858.UDPATED__Town_eye_loan_moves_for_Gladwin_and_El_Abd/Town eye loan moves for Gladwin and El-Abd3 hours ago / Sport THE ADVERTISER understands that Swindon Town are looking to bring midfielder Ben Gladwin back to the County Ground whilst also eyeing a loan move for Bristol City defender Adam El-Abd. Gladwin was sold to Queenâs Park Rangers alongside Australian international Massimo Luongo in a deal reported to be worth a combined ÂŁ3.5million in May but the 23-year-old could be set to follow in the footsteps of Louis Thompson, who rejoined Town on loan from Norwich City for a second time last month. Former Marlow man Gladwin has made three appearances for QPR so far this season. Sources close to the player would not be drawn on the issue when contacted by the Advertiser, while QPR were unaware of any such deal.

I can see the Gladwin move happening. Looked like a good signing at the time but with injuries he has not had a look in yet. From the very little I saw of him he looked ok - but nothing more than just ok so far. When he signed we thought Fer Phillips and Sandro would be gone but as it has turned out they are still here, Chery and Luongo look far better so it makes sense to let Gladwin go on loan and keep playing.
I would make the deal only to January in case we lose a couple in the January window or injuries flare up, in which case he would cost nothing to bring back in.

What the Offie said BEN GLADWIN RE-JOINS SWINDON TOWN ON LOANPUBLISHED 15:22 9th October 2015 by @qprfc Midfielder will spend 28 days with former club ⊠Ben Gladwin has re-joined former club Swindon Town on an emergency loan deal The 23-year-old will spend 28 days at the County Ground QPR Director of Football Les Ferdinand explains decision QPR midfielder Ben Gladwin has re-joined Swindon Town on an emergency 28-day loan deal. Gladwin, 23 swapped the County Ground for Loftus Road in the summer, along with Massimo Luongo, after impressing for the Robins in a two-year stay. However, after finding opportunities with Rangers limited thus far, Gladwin will now return to Swindon temporarily, until November 5th, so that he can continue to play first-team football. That point was echoed by QPR Director of Football Les Ferdinand, who told http://www.qpr.co.uk: âFor his education, itâs important that Ben continues to play first-team football. Under-21 football isnât as competitive. âAn injury has meant heâs subsequently struggled for game time, and we thought this was a great opportunity for him to get some games and come back fit and ready to go again. âHeâs only away for a month. And when he comes back, Iâm sure heâll be raring to go. Heâs still got a massive future at QPR.â Read more at www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/ben-gladwin-loan-qpr-swindon-town-2736713.aspx#Xt1dfVZUra1h8zw8.99

....and then from westlondonsport www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/gladwin-praised-for-swindon-displayGladwin praised for Swindon displayBy West London Sport 11/10/2015 Ben Gladwin of QPR Swindon manager Mark Cooper praised Ben Gladwin after the midfielderâs first appearance since returning to the club on loan from QPR. Gladwin rejoined the Robins earlier this week, having made only one league start since leaving the County Ground to sign for Rangers during the summer. Cooperâs side were beaten 2-1 at home by Peterborough, but he told BBC Wiltshire: âBen Gladwin came in and added a lot to us. He could have scored three or four goals. âIn the first 20 minutes we had loads of possession and got Ben on the ball in and around the box. âWith a bit more quality on the shot we could easily have scored. We had loads of opportunities, we just needed a bit more quality in the box.â

....and from their President quoted by HITC Sport www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/10/11/darragh-macanthony-raves-about-ben-gladwin-on-twitter/Darragh MacAnthony raves about Ben Gladwin on TwitterSat 3 Oct Tim Poole @timpoolesport 6 hours ago The Peterborough United chairman has been hugely impressed by the Queens Park Rangers midfielder. Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony was hugely impressed by QPR owned midfielder Ben Gladwin on Saturday afternoon. Indeed, the 23-year-old took to the field as Swindon Town lost to Peterborough at the weekend. But Gladwin had initially left Swindon for QPR over the summer. Just three Championship appearances for the R's led the midfielder to being loaned back to Swindon, however. There, he was able to put in a display that MacAnthony thought made him the best player on the park against Posh. The Peterborough chairman believes QPR must have 'some midfield' if Gladwin can't get a place within it, while he feels his loan signing is a 'handy' move for Swindon.

From vital football Cobblers Secure Double Loan ExtensionNorthampton will have the services of Darnell Furlong and Shaun Brisley for another month, at least, with it confirmed going into the weekend on the Official Website these loans had been extended. QPR's Furlong and Peterborough's Brisley, who have both played a part for Northampton since their loan arrivals, have had these extended until 14th November. These extension, confirmed ahead of the win against Hartlepool at the weekend, are inclusive of that date so will allow them to feature against Mansfield too. Furlong and Brisley have both been ever present for Northampton since arriving at Sixfields with both playing a part in the Cobblers' recent rise up the league with Brisley getting himself on the scoresheet recently. If this proves to be the final month both are with the Cobblers so be it, however it wouldn't be a surprise to see these loans extended into a third month would it! Brazilian Sandro has resumed playing for Championship outfit QPR after resolving a visa issue and started in yesterdayâs 2-1 defeat at Birmingham. But reports today have indicated that the ex-Spurs man is among Allardyceâs targets for the January transfer window. QPR pair James Collins and Joey OâBrien - who played under Allardyce at Bolton - are also mooted to be on Sunderlandâs radar, with the Black Cats evidently needing reinforcements to their fragile defence. And Sunderland continue to be linked with out-of-contract striker Carlton Cole, with one space remaining in Allardyceâs squad for a Bosman signing.

Armand TraorĂ© in talks with Lille Former Arsenal left-back Armand TraorĂ© has held talks with Lille Sporting Director Jean Michel Vandamme and manager HervĂ© Renard, with the LOSC duo wanting the QPR left-sided player to join the club in the coming weeks. TraorĂ©, according to LâĂquipe, could join Lille by terminating his contract with his current London side. He has less than a year remaining on his current contract with QPR and is not receiving sufficient game time at present. ------ In my opinion he is receiving exactly the right amount of game time.

From Wiltshire Gazette and Herald www.gazetteandherald.co.uk/sport/swindontown/news/13899653.Power_Ben_t_on_grabbing_Gladwin_for_longer/?Power Ben-t on grabbing Gladwin for longerThe Wiltshire Gazette and Herald: Photograph of the Author Matthew Edwards, Sports reporter / 13:30 Wednesday 28 October 2015 / News SWINDON Town chairman Lee Power has admitted that he would like to extend the loan deal of Ben Gladwin past his current stay. Having described the move to bring Gladwin back to the County Ground as the âbest bit of business in the worldâ, Power would now like to make the deal even sweeter. The 23-year-old is due to play the last game of his 28-day Town spell this weekend when Swindon travel to Wigan Athletic in the league. While Gladwin has not quite been able to turn the fortunes of the club around single-handedly, his solo effort on Saturday against Coventry set up a comeback and Power says that the Queens Park Rangers man has shown his quality, despite being hampered by a niggling knee injury during his short stay. âOf course I would like him back,â said the current interim boss. âItâs the best bit of business in the world. We sold him for ÂŁ3million and then got him back on loan three months later. âYou can see how he makes the team tick. In the first half (against Coventry), he was unfortunate. He found himself in those little pockets and youâre waiting for him to go on and, for whatever reason, the ball didnât run for him. âAlso, you have got to remember that physically, he hasnât played this season and he has had a lot of injury. To ask him to come and do two lots of 90 minutes (in less than a week) isnât easy. âYou can see his quality from the goal. Ben has got that in him and enjoys playing here and weâd like to keep him as long as we can.â

Gladwin, 23, is due to return to QPR, who he signed for from Swindon in May this year, after Saturday's trip to Wigan. "I've loved it," Gladwin told BBC Wiltshire of his time back at Swindon, who he rejoined on emergency loan on 9 October. "Every footballer just wants to play football." "I'd like to try and get my loan at Swindon extended," he added. Gladwin, who scored in Swindon's dramatic 2-2 draw with Coventry on Saturday, says he has enjoyed returning to the club where he spent two seasons from 2013. "QPR are flying at the moment and it comes down to them and what they want to do. I'd like to continue playing football."

The midfielder who was sold to QPR from Swindon in the Summer for ÂŁ3 million has struggled to get into QPR's first team and R's manager Chris Ramsay told the press on Friday that he would be happy for Gladwin to remain at the County Ground. 'We would consider it at the moment," said Ramsey. "We`ve got players who are playing, and we`re hoping to revitalise the likes of Junior Hoilett back from his international duty.
