2012/13 QPR & Football Calendar June 18: Fixtures Out THE 2012-13 FIXTURES! www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2814783,00.html IanJTaylor â€@ijtaylor81 The QPR First Team squad will return to pre-season training on July 9th, not the 6th as I previously tweeted! (apologies qprreport) #QPR July 9: John Terry Trial July 14: Thai All Star XI at the Ramajangala Nation stadium in Bangkok July 18: Football Association of Sabah Select team - Kota Kinabalu July 24 (Tues) Evening - Aldershot Friendly (QPR U-21) July 31 Aylesbury www.aylesburyunitedfc.co.uk/news/story/1740August 15? League Cup First Round (Non-Prem Clubs) August 18: Premier Kicks Off qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=31289___________________________________________________ FAN FORUM QUESTIONSInspired by the hints that the club may well hold a fan forum, please leave your suggestions or questions, you'd like to ask or have asked, on this thread. I mean serious questions, no cheap shots, no snidey remarks. Just genuine stuff you would try and ask at such an event. For example, Fan facilities such as toilets, food outlets, club shop stock, clubs media set up, travel arrangements to away games, security at games, fan behaviour etc etc. Just floating it out there and who knows, some might get picked up on by the club. I think if all the various MB's started to organise such a thread now, then they could individually present to the club a list to be considered and whittled down so to speak. what do you think?? ADDED: SOME OTHER STICKIED LINKS/TOPICS FOR DISCUSSIONIf you are new to Qpr Report Message Board, please feel free to post, but if you want to us a bit about yourself then add to these threads too!

Good idea to ask fans the types of questions they would like answered. Previous fans forums had questions asked on a number of topics, but in the main people attended to hear face to face as it were, to the manager and players talk about football related matters.

Be nice if Tony could make it & the Mittal's & Phil Beard. Ask them how they feel this season has gone off the field, ie the academy and the training facilities.
Have a proper attendance from the club, the above mentioned as well as Barton as he is Captain, Steve Gallen, Bircham etc. A show of solidarity and force and unity. Drag the fans into the fold and we all move forward as one. oh and have the OSC there, who knows, they might be able to sign up some more members along the way.

It'll be easier to ask questions once the season has ended as we would be in a much better position to ask pertinent questions in terms of the stadium that may have a lot of relevance dependent upon which league we are in.
Having said that I think that it would be good to get sensible views on the stadium in terms of size (40k is way too big in my opinion) and compactness (surely most people want the feel of the stadium in terms of fans's closeness to the pitch).

I think we all recognize that a Fan Forum with Fernandes, Beard, Bhatia & Hughes will be very different from our situation back then. Difference circumstances. And different people in charge. Of course the Flavio-Bernie era went by without a single Forum. Which speaks volumes in itself.
Paladini at least tried to get the fans on his side. Briatore/Ecclestone didn't give a damn what the Fans thought. (Except maybe to want names of critics)
and Before that it was to a large degree Holloway carrying the club on his shoulders... Especially in those days right after Administration/Relegation..
At the same time, should be serious questions. Not just an hour of praising the current owners (who definitely deserve praise whether we stay up or go down)

all QPR fans are members of the osc, if you wish to email any concerns feel free qprosc@yahoo.co.uk or pm me.
we are currently compiling any grievances that supporters have personally experienced at LR on a matchday concerning the stewarding at the ground, please pm me and they will be put forward .......our objective is to make the club aware that there may be a problem with what is in place at the moment.

I think Maude that this new OSC is a BIG step in the right direction. With leadership that has no agenda other than the betterment of the club, the fans and the communication between those parties, has to be a sign of a positive future ahead for QPR. Especially the under 15 year old generation, we really need to work on that so they don't drift off to some glory hunting side. But they learn to understand passion, commitment and a sense of family and values that comes with supporting a smaller fish in a bigger pond.

I don't know enough about the old OSC. I presume the intentions of the old OSC were just as good. But it just sounds like the new one is more empowered, is more well known, operates in a very different environment, and so forth...So best of luck with that.

I want to know if we can get away with only giving the upper tier school end to visiting fans of all clubs. Keep lower tier for QPR fans at every game. This is the only way to increase our support, short of getting a new stadium. Also this would make a better and more intimidating atmosphere.

Would it be possible to tell us in advance when the next OSC Meeting is (and if there's any specific agenda)? That might elicit questions/things to maybe discuss.

Just for the sake of completeness I think recent threads have dictated that the need and location of a dedicated family area is very important for a great many fans and the related issue of the knock on effects of long term season ticket holders being moved also deserves to be raised.

trying to raise some dosh for QPR girls who are not funded by the club, kits ,tours ,etc. they have been really successful of late, pretty sure they won all there games when touring in holland, we need to highlight it a bit more. after all they still represent our club. a family fun day has been suggested, bbq, bouncey castle, fun and games, not decided how to entertain the kids yet were looking at a pub venue, qpr biased hopefully, with a good garden, local to west london. anyone suggest a pub? help with a venue would be good from you lot, and hoping i can get a few ex players to attend , one is confirmed so far but i have to pick him up from a boozer in brentford

ANd QPR1st a year ago re OSC QPR1st - Fans Demand Season Ticket Holders Meeting QPR1st has been informed that a written request has been received by the secretary of the Official Supporters Club undersigned by thirty members calling on the Club to call an Extraordinary General Meeting, as per section 3.8 of the Queens Park Rangers Official Supporters Club Constitution and Rules. The OSC is now consulting with the Club as to how such a meeting could take place. This raises the prospect of the Club hosting a meeting which potentially hundreds or thousands of disgruntled QPR season ticket holders would have an entitlement to attend, and which we are confident the OSC will ensure is held at a time most suitable for its members. QPR1st would of course welcome the Club arranging such an event and will use such a meeting to call for a 'one member one vote' system of electing the OSC Committee, as well as to challenge the Club's decision to end direct consultation with independent fans groups. Nevertheless we can not help but suspect that if the OSC was to have a Committee democratically elected by season ticket holders, then the OSC would very quickly join the LSA and QPR1st on the Club's ever increasing list of persona non grata. qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=23238#ixzz1x5am2sTV
