Ok I'm curious as to how people came up with their user names. I know there are ones that are self explanatory like qprreport and people's names. But others like maudesfishandchips and macmoish need explaining. So lets ave it.
for me it's
superckat = super bit for superhoops(didn't like the supa or soopa spellings), and ckat are the first name initials of my family including me.

Ah...Macmoish Well of course that was my original posting "name" back in the 1990s on Battletank's .org - which I 'revived" a couple of years ago. (Never understood those posters who posted using more than one name at a time. Always felt if you're going to post your views, have the guts so everyone knows who you from your other posters. )

When I joined up here, I'd just formed Cobham Park Rangers, a breakaway from Cobham Youth, long story) so CPR it was. Mark kindly did the crest for the new club which remains my avatar. When I changed the display to my usual nom de plume, London told me off so CPR remains. ;D

Actually my nickname has nothing at all to do with the country gibraltar, which everybody mistakenly ties me to, despite the fact i have never even been there.
the "gib" part was actually a misspelling on my part for "jib" as in "i like the cut of his jib". the "r" stands for "rangers" of course. and "altar" refers to the fact that i am recently married.
so now you all know the truth behind my name.
hugs n kisses from gibRaltar

My roots go back to the early settlement of OZ. East end villain? cpr, you are very sagacious. The earliest record of my surname, is recorded as a christening at St. Brides Fleet St, on 20/12/1596, and a marriage at St. Dunstans Stepney on 3/11 1595.

I was born in walking distance from Loftus Rd, but usually took the 628. Pledged allegiance to the Rs.
Much later "I sailed the world, beheld its wonders, from the Dardenelles, to the mountains of Peru. But theres no place like
London, my home town."

Ephraim, self explanatory.
Ofcourse i am dissapointed the talented Hogan did not make the 25 and as he is not the type to sit around picking up his wages, he will go out on loan and either come back a stronger player or earn himself a move, either way good luck bud.

Well, I guess Gramps is pretty self explanatory. I have seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Christmas is a very expensive time! One of my great-granddaughters, Sophie, is my avatar and, yes, she is every bit as mischievous and cheeky as she looks.
