How long have you supported QPR? 24 years
What was your first home game? QPR 1 Coventry 2 - 1987
When was your first Away Game? Oxford 1 QPR 1 - 1996
Who brought you to your love of QPR/Family QPR Heritage: Mum
How did you come to QPR Report: Via QPR news searching
Why do you post here: People here are intelligent, although I think a little "too" cynical sometimes. Cynicism is important with our club though.
Where else do you post: Dot org, We Are The Rangers Boys
When was your first QPR Messageboard Post (Anyboard): Years ago!
What do you think of the other QPR Boards? What do they have that we don't? What do we have they don't? Dot org is the balanced board, We Are the Rangers Boys is so pro-club it's laughable, but it does have that fun factor. You didn't ask, but QPR report is the best reminiscence site.
QPR THE CLUB
WHo do you view as QPR's biggest Rivals: Chelsea.
Are you happy with the manager and how things have been this season? - Can you explain/do you understand how things got to this point? I'm very happy with the manager, and happy enough with the season. I am a little shocked at how we won the league given some real defects (slow players, no goal scoring striker, mentally fragile defenders).
What do you think of the current - and previous- Owners? WHY are they involved? WHO ARE THEY?! What do you expect? Could they realistically have done more to boost your chances? Current owners are cold businessmen, and I won't fall for anything nice I hear from them. I'm glad we have the potential money they can offer. Mittal is best hope of maybe giving a damn.
I don't know what to think of old owners. Monaco group was awful. Chris Wright was soooooooo naive. Thompson looked sensible by comparison, but was just an uncaring yuppy.
How do you think QPR treats its fans? Appreciates them? Listens to them? Screws them? Like inconveniences. There is poor communication now. The tribalism is missing, as the club don't want to associate with the fans.
Who would you say was the greatest QPR player that you yourself personally saw? (You can name more than one if it's that close!) Of personal viewing, it must be Les Ferdinand. Ray Wilkins was close second.
Predictions for QPR and Premiership Positions, relegation (and who will get promoted): I assume QPR will come between 20th and 11th next season.
Views of Paladini, Briatore, Past Chairmen: From personal experience Paladini seems very charming, and rather a blight on the club with his seemingly unqualified abilities for his job. And you could say that about Briatore too.
What are your past Encounter Memories - Best Memory/Worst Memory: Best memory - Furlong's goal. Worst memory - Honestly, Paul Hart's home game against Bristol City. We won 2-1 with 6 defenders on and the fans booing. The atmosphere was poison, but his tenure was a disgrace.
Name your all-time QPR Xi (of players you actually saw on the field in person Seaman; Bardsley, Wilson, Parker, McDonald; Impey, Wilkins, Peacock, Taarabt; Ferdinand, Furlong.
Are you looking forward to/Fearing next season: Fearing. I don't think we're going to really go for it.
Where, realistically, do you think QPR will be in five years time? Premiership. Somehow.
Do you have any advice for QPR (Spend more/spend less; keep the manager; change the manager, etc): Spend in accordance with what it takes to make QPR a top ten team. We don't expect more than that. Manager should stay obviously.

How long have you supported QPR? Since 1976, on and off What was your first home game? February 5th 1983 1-0 v Oldham Athletic in our last promotion (to top flight) seasonWhen was your first Away Game? October 27th 1984 0-2 v Norwich City.Who brought you to your love of QPR/Family QPR Heritage: Finishing 2nd in 1976 and having an interesting nameAny Real Life Info you want to provide? Mike, 42, part-time customer service agent for Booking.com, married to Amanda, Grand Rapids MI USA, son of 16 monthsHow Did you choose your Screen Name? It's my Subbuteo team name. The badge in my profile is the club badge. I live on the corner of Coit Park. How did you come to QPR Report? Can't remember. Google probably, looking for somewhere to have a natter. Why do you post here? No idea! ;D Where else do you post? Nowhere much. I am a member on dot org but I don't like the tiered system there. When was your first QPR Messageboard Post? Aug 10th 2010 linkWhat do you think of the other QPR Boards? What do they have that we don't? What do we have they don't? This one seems more international friendly than others I have seen and is very polite and respectful. No need to shop around any further.Hoped for Improvements with QPR Report? None.QPR THE CLUB WHo do you view as QPR's biggest Rivals? Fulham. Same size ground, similar cult following. I hope we don't get obnoxious like Chelsea. Are you happy with the manager and how things have been this season? - Can you explain/do you understand how things got to this point? Warnock is the best thing to happen to this club since Venables. I hope he doesn't bugger off to Spain as well. I get the feeling Neil might retire here if someone lets him. What do you think of the current - and previous- Owners? WHY are they involved? WHO ARE THEY?! What do you expect? Could they realistically have done more to boost your chances? More Indians and less crazy Italians please. How do you think QPR treats its fans? Appreciates them? Listens to them? Screws them? I had two differing experiences with them to get tickets. First time I emailed asking for assistance booking a home game, I got a phone call (albeit at 5am even though I said don't call until 1pm due to time difference) and tickets were done and dusted and left at the box office for me to pick up when I got there. Next time, I asked for info/assistance getting the away game, and got nothing. I finally installed Skype and was able to call the box office.Who would you say was the greatest QPR player that you yourself personally saw? (You can name more than one if it's that close!) Was always a big fan of Terry Fenwick. Lots others in that team that I could pick as well. Would like to add Taarabt to that list once he's done his job in the PL.Predictions for QPR and Premiership Positions, relegation (and who will get promoted) - I think we'll finish about 12th (without knowing much about our squad expansion plans). Would be happy for anything above 18th for a couple of seasons while we build. Views of Paladini, Briatore, Past Chairmen -- I try not to get involved in the politics of a club. But the board of the past decade has been a joke. What are your past Encounter Memories - Best Memory/Worst Memory? Best: Thrashing Partizan 6-2 at Highbury including Warren Neill's 40-yard screamer. Worst: Seeing we'd lost the 2nd leg 0-4. Oh and the Lactose-intolerant cup final appearance of the same era.Name your all-time QPR Xi (of players you actually saw on the field in person: It's a weird team as I only watched them in person 1983-1986 and then once 2009 and once 2011: Peter Hucker; Warren Neill, Alan McDonald, Terry Fenwick, Ian Dawes; Gary Waddock, Alejandro Faurlin; Wayne Routledge, Adel Taarabt, Wayne Fereday; Gary BannisterAre you looking forward to/Fearing next season? Looking forward to all of it! Just being there. Of course we might get relegated but I think we should just be happy we got there. I think the bottom half of the league is so even that anything is possible from finishing bottom to sitting where Stoke are now.Where, realistically, do you think QPR will be in five years time? Still in the Prem. Maybe shooting for a UEFA spot.Do you have any advice for QPR (Spend more/spend less; keep the manager; change the manager, etc) - Keep Warnock even if we go straight down. As long as he is allowed to spend reasonably and prudently he will build a team to consolidate in the Prem, even if that means bouncing down and up again. I don't think we should "do a Chelsea/Man City", but spend wisely and attract the players we need to a team playing good football at both ends of the pitch. What one or two questions do you wish I had asked you (and how would you have responded?!) - Can't think of any

How long have you supported QPR? Since Sep/Oct 1976
What was your first home game? When was your first Away Game? Both N/A - never been to a QPR game sad as it seems
Who brought you to your love of QPR/Family QPR Heritage - nothing really, a chance conversation between my Dad & his mate way back in 1976 (read more on the How did I get to follow QPR thread)
Any Real Life Info you want to provide? Real name, age, job, education, Family status, place you live, etc Philip, 46, accountant / manager at a large freight forwarder, married (Colleen) with a 14 year old daughter (Jess), live in Benoni in Greater Jo'burg's eastern suburbs in South Africa.
How Did you choose your Screen Name? I think it is pretty obvious
How did you come to QPR Report - mainly through Andy (Lonegunman) and picking it up on Wikipedia
Why do you post here - it has none of the bickering that plague other sites, it has pretty good articles and there is a lot of QPR & general football knowledge on this site.
Where else do you post - the official site
When was your first QPR Messageboard Post (Anyboard) - the QPR official site in late 2000 when we lost at home to Burnley (and I could see the writing on the wall). I have probably been on this site for close to a year
What do you think of the other QPR Boards? What do they have that we don't? What do we have they don't? I find this site much more user friendly than the offy site, otherwise not much to comment as I don't really visit other sites.
Hoped for Improvements with QPR Report - Maybe post some photos from more recent times - not that it should be seen as slight on Bushman's work in that section because it is excellent.
QPR THE CLUB
WHo do you view as QPR's biggest Rivals - Chelsea, Fulham & Brentford for sure, but I suppose for the last few seasons it was Watford & Palace
Are you happy with the manager and how things have been this season? - Can you explain/do you understand how things got to this point? Damn right I am happy, Neil Warnock is the single biggest factor that saw us go from relegation certainties to a Championship title winning side within 15 months (which probably answers the 2nd part of your question).
What do you think of the current - and previous- Owners? WHY are they involved? WHO ARE THEY?! What do you expect? Could they realistically have done more to boost your chances? I get the impression that the board / owners is split down the middle with the Mittal clan on the one side and Briatore, Paladini & co on the other side. Whoever wins will determine the future of the club - but having said that I don't think the Mittals are here for the goodness of their hearts either.
How do you think QPR treats its fans? Appreciates them? Listens to them? Screws them? Let's put it this way; marketing & fan relations is hardly QPR's strongest point - in fact is it is appallling and if I can see that from where I sit then then you know how awful it truly is. For example - the past 15 years tested the loyalty of many QPR fans and how does the club pay back those fans loyalty for those 15 years in the wilderness? By not having a victory parade thats how. It is a PR disgrace.
Who would you say was the greatest QPR player that you yourself personally saw? (You can name more than one if it's that close!) - If watching him on TV counts then Sir Les. Yes I grew up idolising Stan the Man but my impressions of him was confined to odd clips and media reports.
Predictions for QPR and Premiership Positions, relegation (and who will get promoted) - Don't shoot me down for saying this but reallistically I predict us to go straight down, but if we do let's follow Blackpool's example and enjoy it while it lasts.
Views of Paladini, Briatore, Past Chairmen Paladini - this man has, as an individual, done more harm than any other person (past or present) at QPR. Briatore - well his involvement in Crashgate scandal 2 years ago says all that you need to know about the man. Bill Power - probably the best chairman we have had since Jim Gregory (still one of the benchmark of a great football chairman) Nicky Blackburn - Hammer fan & Wright's puppet looking after CW's interests. Chris Wright - appointed lousy managers, got the club into admin, the WPR proposal, the club going into admin when he left. A walking disaster - and to think I had great hopes when he became our chairman as he seemed to have the right credentials. I doubt he was ever a QPR fan. Richard Thompson - he started the rot and cannot believe how many fans still feel that he did a great job.
What are your past Encounter Memories - Best Memory/Worst Memory - Best - 1982 FA Cup final & replay, getting to the 86 LC final (not the final though), ManUre 1 QPR 4, promotions in 83/84, 2003/04 & 2010/11. Worst - the nightmare that was the 2000/01 season, Vauxhall Motors & Sheff Wed 7 QPR 1.
Name your all-time QPR Xi (of players you actually saw on the field in person Again the TV comes to my rescue El Tels early 80's team with the likes of Roy Wegerle, Gary Bannister, Sir Les, Trev Sinclair, Taarabt & Seaman in the squad.
Are you looking forward to/Fearing next season - let's look forward to it, win lose or whatever. I have no expectations except that I know we are likely to struggle but so what? 15 years is a long time.
Where, realistically, do you think QPR will be in five years time? Possibly a yoyo club like West Brom - flirting between the 2 divisions. That depends on what the owners do though.
Do you have any advice for QPR (Spend more/spend less; keep the manager; change the manager, etc) Keep NW for a start, yes the club needs strenghthening for sure (we need a back up keeper, a couple of defendersd and a striker) but let's not do a Bradfrod or Derby and bankrupt ourselves in the process. Be realistic and spend within our needs.
What one or two questions do you wish I had asked you (and how would you have responded?!) Can't think of any.

THE QUESTIONS
So here they are"
How long have you supported QPR? 36
What was your first home game? Tue 19 Aug 1980 Bristol Rovers 4-0
When was your first Away Game? Sat 16 Aug 1980 Oldham 0-1
Who brought you to your love of QPR/Family QPR Heritage Brian Moore
Any Real Life Info you want to provide? Real name, age, job, education, Family status, place you live, etc Andy, 50, Married, New Zealand
How Did you choose your Screen Name? Paying homeage to the three geeks from the X Files. had it ever since my first Internet E-Mail Address.
How did you come to QPR Report It was a calling. After the PTV major F*** up with the official MB Ver2, I first went to what is now Ade's site and then found this one
Why do you post here The maturity of most users (Except me) and the history of some of the members you just cannot lose. it is imperitive that these experiences are preserved.
Where else do you post Indy R's and occassionally LFW
When was your first QPR Messageboard Post (Anyboard) Either 1998 or 1999 on the original QPR MB on the Planet servers, not the official club one that started in 2001
What do you think of the other QPR Boards? What do they have that we don't? What do we have they don't? Each offers a unique perspective on QPR matters. Some are good for QPR history, others have alleged inside information on which to tease fans for example.
Hoped for Improvements with QPR Report Full screen "live video" of games but I wont need it next season, The R's are going up and I'll be watching pretty much every game, win , lose or draw, so long as the lads give a good account of themselves. Also better ITK than a teasing site.
QPR THE CLUB
WHo do you view as QPR's biggest Rivals - s.cum down in Kings Rd
Are you happy with the manager and how things have been this season? - Can you explain/do you understand how things got to this point? Colin has been brilliant, best thing since Ollie.
What do you think of the current - and previous- Owners? Bernie is Bernie, the Orange Donut is the Orange Donut, The Mittals better buy the club and Paladini needs to either move on or retire gracefully or be fired. WHY are they involved? The Orange Donut thought we were a resturant, what can you say about that?WHO ARE THEY?! 4 business men experienced in money but not in football and an alleged businessman experienced in football but really isn't.What do you expect? A lot better, two owners to leave a Managing director to be fired, retire, or resign. Could they realistically have done more to boost your chances? Fired the Managing director, aka Director of football.
How do you think QPR treats its fans? Like 20 pound punters aka as pieces of shit. Appreciates them? Yeah right if you want to believe that. Listens to them? Yeah right if you want to believe that. Screws them? Well I do prefer to be kissed before I'm F***ed.
Who would you say was the greatest QPR player that you yourself personally saw? (You can name more than one if it's that close!) Personally saw "Live" at a game? Simon Stainrod
Predictions for QPR and Premiership Positions, relegation (and who will get promoted) QPR about 14th. Us, Norwich and Reading
Views of Paladini, Briatore, Past Chairmen Please read reply a few questions back. oh and thanks too to Richard Thompson and Chris Wright for also F***ing the club over.
What are your past Encounter Memories - Best Memory/Worst Memory Best - First day I visited the club, Worst - Paladini's overthrow of Bill Power. Was worse than either of the relegations.
Name your all-time QPR Xi (of players you actually saw on the field in person: Hucker, Neil, Dawes, McDonald, Wicks, Fenwick, Micklewhite, McCreery, Gregory, Stainrodney, Fereday. Sub Bob Hazell, Steve Burke
Are you looking forward to/Fearing next season Same game: Old Trafford V Manure. We're either gonna pull off another surprise or get a hiding.
Where, realistically, do you think QPR will be in five years time? Dunno till after the board meeting and find out if Bernie, The Orange Donut and Paladini are still at the club.
Do you have any advice for QPR (Spend more/spend less; keep the manager; change the manager, etc) You bet Keep Colin. Spend money but not stupidly. Not cheap skates but spend on players aged 23-28 with experience. Not waste any on over 30 year olds looking for a last big pay check.
What one or two questions do you wish I had asked you (and how would you have responded?!) Would you like me to buy you a return air ticket and match ticket to see QPR next season? My answer would be "Oh yes please!"

How did you come to QPR Report Managed to get back home to uk this Xmas and took my lad to QPR V Bristol city , i got talking to a girl selling AKUTRS, and was asking where Dave Thomas(AKUTRS) was these days and how much i missed that fanzine and ITL being sent to me when i could not make it to games and she recommended this website for all us ex pats.
Why do you post here To keep in touch

When was your first QPR Messageboard Post (Anyboard) Supported QPR for 25 years or more.
What do you think of the other QPR Boards? What do they have that we don't? What do we have they don't? Have not looked at them.
Hoped for Improvements with QPR Report It is a very good board as it is, i do like nostalgia and there plenty of that on here.
QPR THE CLUB
WHo do you view as QPR's biggest Rivals- Obviously Chelsea to most blokes on this website, but from my own point of view its Spurs i like to beat , i grew up in North London and even today i like to see them lose (sorry to sound so vindictive but growing up amongst those parasites left a lasting scar lol!!)
Are you happy with the manager and how things have been this season? - Can you explain/do you understand how things got to this point? Very happy , but experience tells me to be cautious about the future. Neil Warnock is the type of manager we have needed for a long time, but i have to be honest i had my doubts when he was appointed.
What do you think of the current - and previous- Owners? WHY are they involved? WHO ARE THEY?! What do you expect? Could they realistically have done more to boost your chances? Present lot- Buisnessmen Thompson- Buisnessman Bulstrode- Buisnessman Wright - Fan,Buisnessman Gregory-Fan, Buisnessman
They have to treat this club as a buisness, but in my humble opinion they have not sold the brand as well as they could have.
How do you think QPR treats its fans? Appreciates them? Listens to them? Screws them? Screws them.
Who would you say was the greatest QPR player that you yourself personally saw? (You can name more than one if it's that close!) Stan Bowles

Man Utd- Champions Liverpool Arsenal
QPR- 12TH
Stoke Reading/Swansea Bolton
Views of Paladini, Briatore, Past Chairmen As much i hated him when Dave Thomas and Parksy went ,it took me a long time to acknolwedge him, but Jim Gregory made this club what it is today.
Paladini, Briatore- just buisnessmen
What are your past Encounter Memories - Best Memory/Worst Memory FA Cup semi-Final Highbury 1982, QPR 3 West Ham 0 1979 (Allen ,Goddard) Getting filled in at Crystal Palace 1982
Cold, unfriendly times,up north, mid week, 1996-2006 following Rangers away during the bad times.
Name your all-time QPR Xi (of players you actually saw on the field in person: Parkes ,Clement, Gillard, Roeder,Wicks,Masson, Francis, Currie, Bowles, Ferdinand,Thomas Subs: Seaman, Parker Stainrod Wegerle Givens Just dreamin fellas!!!!!
Are you looking forward to/Fearing next season Both

Do you have any advice for QPR (Spend more/spend less; keep the manager; change the manager, etc) At the moment spend sensibly and cautiously (no more Ned zelics or Mark Hateleys please)
What one or two questions do you wish I had asked you (and how would you have responded?!) mmm pass!!

How long have you supported QPR? My entire life [57yrs], I was lucky enough to be born right opposite the ground so as a young kid I looked out my bedroom window on to the pitchWhat was your first home game? It's that long ago I can't honestly remember but names like Walsall and Peterborough would fit the bill. When was your first Away Game? again so long ago that I can't remember, certainly but not my first by a long way was going up to Blackpool in 1966 with 3 pals for my 13th birthday and we won 1-0 Les Allen scoringWho brought you to your love of QPR/Family QPR Heritage I suppose it must have been my dad and given where we lived there was never going to be any one else, but all of us my parents, brothers and sister were all Rs madAny Real Life Info you want to provide? Real name, age, job, education, Family status, place you live, etc Bill, 57 yrs old, retired in Chalfont St Giles living very near to my 2 boys. How Did you choose your Screen Name? I'm not that clever when it comes to that so plumped for my initials. How did you come to QPR Report Well there are 2 answers here, some would have it that I joined as a result of a clandestine meeting with Dylan, Macmoish and Alb over in Washington DC but I did receive an email to let me know about the site when it started and it has since been my first port of call each morning for QPR info followed by newsnow. Why do you post here In my opinion it is the most balanced site and knowing quite a few posters its a way of keeping in touchWhere else do you post Nowhere, only on hereWhen was your first QPR Messageboard Post (Anyboard) years ago on Bens .OrgWhat do you think of the other QPR Boards? What do they have that we don't? What do we have they don't? Find some boards to be quite hostile, not to me personally just now and then when some trivial point gets disputed. My eldest boy reads watrb and enjoys it and tells me they have lots of other things on there. I think our board is the most amiable site and even the posters I don't know of old I feel like I know them having read their posts for so long.Hoped for Improvements with QPR Report I'm sure things will evolve in a orderly fashion.QPR THE CLUB WHo do you view as QPR's biggest Rivals Chelse'Are you happy with the manager and how things have been this season? - Can you explain/do you understand how things got to this point? Extremely happy with NW but sad that we needed so much constant upheaval to get to this. What do you think of the current - and previous- Owners? WHY are they involved? WHO ARE THEY?! What do you expect? Could they realistically have done more to boost our chances? Well......... The current board leave me mystified. How they have managed to put so much distance between themselves and the fans truly baffles me. I know they are High Profile characters and that the club is not the be all and end all of their lives but that being the case they could and should have made someone responsible to be the Face of the board who should have communicated on a far more frequent and informative basis with the fans. Speaking as a fan I will always say the board could do more.
Previous owners, :-) I'll not comment on me but one chap who still gets a bad press is Chris Wright and in my humble opinion it's a little unfair. He was and still is as big a fan as anyone and certainly on the one occasion that I met him I was struck by his current knowledge of how we were doing and what he hoped for and in that brief meeting he in effect donated a high value of shares to the club which went a long way to keeping us going at the time. Jim Gregory is a legend. How do you think QPR treats its fans? Appreciates them? Listens to them? Screws them? Poorly, in fact that seems to me the thing that most disappoints, fans are seemingly just a source of revenue. They appear not to listen. We'll find out soon enough how much it screws us to use your phrase when we see the season ticket prices. They should have and should in future hold regular fans forums.Who would you say was the greatest QPR player that you yourself personally saw? (You can name more than one if it's that close!) Not close by a country mile RODNEY!!Predictions for QPR and Premiership Positions, relegation (and who will get promoted) I am hopeful we will have a strong season but the bigs don't need to fear us just yet.Views of Paladini, Briatore, Past Chairmen Well I've already mentioned Jim Gregory who nobody needs me to explain about. I hope I did my bit albeit to a far less degree. I hope that in years to come we all get remembered for the good things and peoples memories dim when it comes to the less popular things we have all had to do.What are your past Encounter Memories - Best Memory/Worst Memory The league cup final and the run to it, promotion 67+68, relegation 69, 1976 team, 1982 final, 1986 final, relegation 96 and 2001, Oldham game and Millenium 2003, promotion 2004, promotion 2011. I'm sure those years need no explaining good and bad and I have missed out 100s of memoriesName your all-time QPR Xi (of players you actually saw on the field in person Impossible but would include a squad of 22 that had Parkes, Seaman, Bardsley, Clements, MacDonald, Masson, Bowles Thomas, Francis, Marsh, Givens, Lazarus, Morgans, Sir Les, Magic Hat, Bedford, actually the entire 76 squad. Not given this any thought and will come back to it Are you looking forward to/Fearing next season Very much looking forwardWhere, realistically, do you think QPR will be in five years time? I honestly believe we will be still in the Prem'Do you have any advice for QPR (Spend more/spend less; keep the manager; change the manager, etc) It's not just money that answers all your problems, build a team close knitWhat one or two questions do you wish I had asked you (and how would you have responded?!) That's quite enough surely.

Great read Bill. Glad you answered the more "senstive" questions the way you did too. I gound Jim Gregory quite hard case although I knew/know there was another side. I always will remmber, as soon as he walked out into the directors box, it was all on - QPR and QPR only. He really did love the atmosphere. Did he ever miss many games from your recollection?

They should have and should in future hold regular fans forums..... Thanks BP...Very interesting...and interesting perspective of Chris Wright

Where else do you postjust my favourite bands forum
When was your first QPR Messageboard Post (Anyboard) tonight
What do you think of the other QPR Boards? What do they have that we don't? What do we have they don't? One other boards people seem to say anything they want to , even if its racist. I am not it to that so dont want to get involved .This boards seem to have people who have thought oput there points of view , not just a rant , but a thought out point of view.
Hoped for Improvements with QPR Report more than met them ..just love the old videos , takes me back in time .
QPR THE CLUB
WHo do you view as QPR's biggest Rivals Fulham , If i am lead to believe everything i read on other MB's , There trying to turn QPR into a boutique club for the rich , then i think Fulham. On the pitch , if we spend wisely , then NO one , after all Man U , only paid 5 mill for Hernandez and he was the buy of the season.
Are you happy with the manager and how things have been this season? - Can you explain/do you understand how things got to this point?Long may he reign
What do you think of the current - and previous- Owners? WHY are they involved? WHO ARE THEY?! What do you expect? Could they realistically have done more to boost your chances?do not know enough about them , sorry
How do you think QPR treats its fans? Appreciates them? Listens to them? Screws them?screws them from i have been reading , cheeper to watch Man U , if i am right , please tell me i am wrong
Who would you say was the greatest QPR player that you yourself personally saw? (You can name more than one if it's that close!) Ah , a easy question..Stan Bowles , Brilliant , and when he ran on to the pitch , with the fans chanting "Stanley Stanley give us a wave give us a wave....
Predictions for QPR and Premiership Positions, relegation (and who will get promoted) would love to think mid-table , but might be in a relegation fight , going UP , unfortunately might be Leeds(cousin supports them) but hope it is Ipswich Views of Paladini, Briatore, Past Chairmen Dont know enought about them , sorry
What are your past Encounter Memories - Best Memory/Worst Memory Best = every home game win Worst = Nov 78 when it was QPR 1 Arsenal 2 and there was about 100 or so QPR fans in "The Loft" , surrounded by police , because there rest where in the loft where Arsenal fans, i was in the 100 or so Name your all-time QPR Xi (of players you actually saw on the field in person Any players between 1974 and 1980 will do me , as long as Stanley is up front /
Are you looking forward to/Fearing next season I hope , if we dont buy players , we go down fighting like Blackpool , they went for goals(attacked) i hope we dont go out with a "We're just happy to be here " attitude.
Where, realistically, do you think QPR will be in five years time? if we get the right owners, we can be mid-table and look forward to good cup runs.
Do you have any advice for QPR (Spend more/spend less; keep the manager; change the manager, etc) keep the manager , but spend wisely , not on over the hill players after a last big pay check
What one or two questions do you wish I had asked you (and how would you have responded?!) question..Do you think QPR home games will be a sell out ?? Answer=NO , it will be like the old days , they will only turn up if we're doing well , or if it a game against a BIG club , NOT because of the fans , but because of the money being asked for walk up tickets , i think fans will start to pick and choose what games they will go to, and i DO NOT blame them ,i have read nearly 50 quid for a walk up ticket , what if you want to take your son ? nearly a 100.. .

Thanks Mac
This is ne of my answers - quite appropriate considering what has happened this week although I didn't realise that it would blow up like it did so soon.
"What do you think of the current - and previous- Owners? WHY are they involved? WHO ARE THEY?! What do you expect? Could they realistically have done more to boost your chances? I get the impression that the board / owners is split down the middle with the Mittal clan on the one side and Briatore, Paladini & co on the other side. Whoever wins will determine the future of the club - but having said that I don't think the Mittals are here for the goodness of their hearts either."

It is also sad to see that everybody here thinks that relations between club & fans is non existent. Well I guess tyhat that will hardly improve after this week - which all but confirmed that the fans perception was spot on.

First post, back as a regular watcher after father time caught up with my own football career. Started with TV, plastic and Wembley 83 and was there at Forrest when it all ended in 96 (I wonder if he still has a pineapple on his head?). How long have you supported QPR? 72 years (1939)
What was your first home game? Can’t be sure but am assuming it was just after my third birthday when my father decided I had reached the age of football maturity. That would make it QPR 1 Torquay 1 but that is only an educated guess!
When was your first Away Game? Easy one, unfortunately. 1948 – Fulham 5 QPR O. Why did you have to remind me of that for goodness sake!
Who brought you to your love of QPR/Family QPR Heritage My father, who started supporting Rs in about 1918 and his father before him.
Any Real Life Info you want to provide? Real name, age, job, education, Family status, place you live, etc John, age 75, retired Senior Industrial Welfare Officer with the Post Office, Secondary School education, married for 54 years, 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Live in Maldon, Essex.
How Did you choose your Screen Name? Gramps? See last question and work it out for yourself.
How did you come to QPR Report Surfing the net.
Why do you post here Seems like a nice place to be.
Where else do you post Dot.org
When was your first QPR Messageboard Post (Anyboard) Dot.org Have run my own social chat boards in past years.
What do you think of the other QPR Boards? What do they have that we don't? What do we have they don't? Can only speak for Dot.org. Both boards are different and neither is preferred to the other.
Hoped for Improvements with QPR Report Sorry, can’t really answer that at present as I have only been a member here for a few days.
QPR THE CLUB
Who do you view as QPR's biggest Rivals The other 19 Premier League clubs
Are you happy with the manager and how things have been this season? - Can you explain/do you understand how things got to this point? More than happy with NW. A good, tough manager but a great pity he has been really stitched up by the poison dwarf.
What do you think of the current - and previous- Owners? WHY are they involved? WHO ARE THEY?! What do you expect? Could they realistically have done more to boost your chances? Of course they could have done a lot more but they are not interested in doing anything that will affect their chances of making money. No interest in the club. They could have done so much more but never will.
How do you think QPR treats its fans? Appreciates them? Listens to them? Screws them? They have no interest at all in us and it grieves me sorely. In my early days as a supporter they cared.
Who would you say was the greatest QPR player that you yourself personally saw? (You can name more than one if it's that close!) There are a number. Reg Allen was my idol; Jimmy Langley was a great sportsman; Mark Lazarus a real character and Rodney Marsh the best front man ever in my book – streets ahead of Bowles (sorry, Bowles fans).
Predictions for QPR and Premiership Positions, relegation (and who will get promoted) Relegation – probably in bottom place. I believe our destiny will be known by the end of January. Shorty and the Italian will then blame NW and sack him.
Views of Paladini, Briatore, Past Chairmen The present lot are self-fixated scum. Without a doubt Jim Gregory was the best ever. What are your past Encounter Memories - Best Memory/Worst Memory Best: 1967 League Cup Final win. Worst: 1-8 to Manchester United in 1969 and 1982 Cup Final defeat.
Name your all-time QPR Xi (of players you actually saw on the field in person) Difficult one for me because I have seen so many in 72 years. David Seaman; Dave Clement, Jim Langley, Glenn Roeder, Ian Gillard; Gerry Francis, Gary Waddock, Ivor Powell; Mark Lazarus, Les Ferdinand, Rodney Marsh. Subs: Reg Allen, Andy Sinton, Tony Currie, Stan Bowles, Simon Stainrod.
Are you looking forward to/Fearing next season Absolutely terrified!
Where, realistically, do you think QPR will be in five years time? Struggling to stay in the Championship.
Do you have any advice for QPR (Spend more/spend less; keep the manager; change the manager, etc) Keep the manager, find somebody who cares and is in a position to buy the club. (I just saw a pig fly past my window).
What one or two questions do you wish I had asked you (and how would you have responded?!) What hobbies do you have apart from QPR? I sing semi-professionally in a barbershop quartet and am a member of a top class male voice choir. Music is very important in my life.

What do you think of the other QPR Boards? What do they have that we don't? What do we have they don't? QPR Report - Daily club news, superb video archive qprnet.com - Interesting features like "Where R They Now?", excellent match reports Hoped for Improvements with QPR Report Brilliant as it is!! QPR THE CLUB WHo do you view as QPR's biggest Rivals Chelsea Are you happy with the manager and how things have been this season? - Can you explain/do you understand how things got to this point? Wasn't too keen on Neil when he signed as manager but now can't get enough of him. Love his straight talking, his enthusiasm for the game and he obviously knows what he is doing. Lets face it for the club to make such a huge turn around in performance in such a short time has to be down to him. And he is bl**dy funny! What do you think of the current - and previous- Owners? WHY are they involved? WHO ARE THEY?! What do you expect? Could they realistically have done more to boost your chances? Not a big fan of the current owners. I don't want them to throw cash around like Man City or Chelsea but I would have thought that through the off season they would have got together with Neil and discussed some specific targets/requirements for player recruitment and then set about trying to get them. That doesn't appear to have been the case and a great opportunity has been missed. No disrespect to our other recruits but I feel only DJ and Boothroyd have strenghthened our squad in my opinion. If Neil can keep us up with this squad he will rise from being a miracle worker to a GOD in my estimations! How do you think QPR treats its fans? Appreciates them? Listens to them? Screws them? Awful!! I can't believe how out of touch they are. Just have no understanding of a club/supporter relationship. The fact that they appear to be haemorrhaging many long term fans and season ticket holders says it all. These are the fans that will be there through thick or thin. That they are so upset with the club really is a damning indictment on the current situation. Sure you can replace them in the short term with fly-by-nighters but when the going gets tough they will be off somewhere else to get their fix. I have HUGE respect for any fan who sticks with their club no matter what (and no time at all for bandwaggoners). That said you can only take so much s**t Who would you say was the greatest QPR player that you yourself personally saw? (You can name more than one if it's that close!) Live in the flesh: Les Ferdinand (closely followed by Ray Wilkins) Predictions for QPR and Premiership Positions, relegation (and who will get promoted) 12th/ Champions: Man U/ Relegated: Wigan and 2 out of Blackburn, Bolton and Swansea/ Promoted: West Ham, Forest and Brighton Views of Paladini, Briatore, Past Chairmen Already said enough about the current lot. Great respect for what Jim Gregory achieved. What are your past Encounter Memories - Best Memory/Worst Memory 1982 FA Cup Final, Watching Ferdinand and Wilkins live/ Administration, Relegation to Division One (old Div 3) Name your all-time QPR Xi (of players you actually saw on the field in person. I only had a limited time frame (1990, 1992-94) Seaman-Bardsley,McDonald,Parker,Wilson-Sinclair, Barker,Wilkins,Sinton-Ferdinand,Wegerle Are you looking forward to/Fearing next season Looking forward with no expectations other than to "enjoy every moment of it". Where, realistically, do you think QPR will be in five years time? So hard to tell. Realistically- could be in Europe on a regular basis or could be out of existence. Do you have any advice for QPR (Spend more/spend less; keep the manager; change the manager, etc) Keep Neil Warnock. If the current owners don't get a buzz out of owning a relatively successful, family orientated and fan-friendly football club then up anchors and sell to someone who does! To the club - reconnect with your fans!! What one or two questions do you wish I had asked you (and how would you have responded?!) Would you like to see a match live, all expenses paid by me? Yes please. I'll go pack my bags and book my flights!! THE END!
