Great idea for a thread. I joined the other day and did look for such a thread and glad it's here now. Looks like a good forum with plenty of fun & banter. As for me, been a Rangers fan since I was 8. I was actually an Arsenal fan before that but dad, being Shepherds Bush born and bred, wouldn't take me to Highbury so I became an Rs fan by default. Never regretted it though, even after all these years. Oh, and if it wasn't obvious by my username, I was a massive fan of Stan back in the day. Love the smilies btw.

.... Love the smilies btw. I so agree. Thanks again, Haqpr1963 for creating them (I won't - on this occasion! - do my "thanks to everyone else" who have done so much re this board But they are thanked!) And just to add: Any ideas about this site/things extra we can do, are welcome. As those who were here almost three years ago, can testify: This site has developed (improved) over this time

Hullo, I'm a malaysian and I have it on good authority that Tony Fernandes sleeps standing up and his best friend's a baby elephant!

Hi my name is Richard, I have been a hoops fan since '82 when I was born and my first game was a 1-1 draw against liverpool at Loftus Road some time in the early '90s with Roy Wegerle my superstar at the time.
Currently travelling the world as a conflict photographer and right now I am in India after some fun and games in the middle east during the Arab spring. Not at all as scary as it sounds as everywhere I have been have shown the championship and now the premiership so, this season I have watched the hoops every week live and look forward to the rest of the season!

westlondon - Only way to get over the fear is to get close to one. Just stay at the front end! Blockhead - yep, it was Badminton & Blenheim for me although she did get me into Rugby League 24 years ago!

hey.im relatively new here, and been nothing but negative.hopefully that will change.u seem a decent grounded lot on here.i just care about my club not the bs politics that has been surrounding us recently.maybe now the gruesome twosome have gone we can just enjoy supporting our club rather than all the constant(justified)hate polluting the atmosphere.

They do but, unlike dogs, they won't show aggression. More than likely they will just shy away.

Well most of my stuff is of the equestrian persuation but I could pull out some cricket stuff. But to start you off, how about one OF me! Mate you could be a stunt double for Elton John! Welcome to the site anyway and that also goes for the rest whom have recently joined. It's finally a positive time for the hoops. Tony Fernandes has backed up his talk with some action and it is appreciated. Obviously likes to look into things and yet will make the decisions. Good to see Amit back there too. I think we have a good combo in these two and with Neil spearheading the Team, it's looking good. I have come to think that Barton could well be an amazing transfer for us. He is skilled, an eye for a goal. Let the past stay there and let's encourage Barton to do his best on the field. Again, a warm welcome to you all.

Hi,
I'm Tony from Essex. My Spurs supporting family made the mistake of taking me to my first game at Loftus Road, when Stanley Bowles was playing, and have been following the Rs ever since.
