3 goals for Hudds in 10 minutes , after beating Millwall on course to beat another top 6 side , meanwhile we look like losing to all the bottom ones.

With our form , the last game we wanted to see this Friday was Blackpool v Cardiff 🙁 Praying for a draw Rotherham v WBA Reading v Birmingham Watford v Huddersfield I can see Huddersfield getting a win, hoping the Midlands clubs can do us a favour. If we don't beat Preston, we could be in the bottom 3 with 2 teams above us with a game in hand.

Burnley still a big part to play in who goes down…. I think when we play them and Cardiff play them they will be Champions already but trying to break a points record.

The next two games for all could decide it. We need minimum 4 points from our back to back home games. Reading, Cardiff and Huddersfield then play each other in 2 of their last 3 games so would rely on certain score if we don’t get the points in next two games. Being at home for last game also helpful - both Cardiff and Reading are away.

Sheff U have come from behind to lead 2-1 v Cardiff with 10 minutes left. If it stays like that, at least one team will still be below us whatever happens later.
Edit: 3-1 now.

Tonight’s the night we might drop into the bottom three. Although Luton might do us proud.
More likely we drop to 22nd by Saturday.Funny that Reading and Rotherham just took a point off Burnley. Watch our lot crumble.

Well it's certainly in our hand, that was a massive result.
Wigan won but are irrelevant now as far as we're concerned. Blackpool also won, but they'll need to win both of their last 2 games and hope we lose both in order to catch us.
Reading's defeat was the icing on the cake, but they're still our biggest threat needing a win and a draw.
Maybe we can kick on from today and get 3 points at Stoke. Would be great to be able to go into the last game, knowing we're safe.

Tonight is a the next instalment of what seems to be a daily drip feed end of season - Rotherham V's Cardiff. What result do we want - probably not a draw as that takes both of them above us. Not sure which way to go but I would like the team with the hardest run in to lose and maybe then go pointless in the last 2 games. Cardiff have Huddersfield and Burnley Rotherham have Boro and Wigan.
Or maybe a draw would be good if they can both lose their remaining 2 games then we only need on point to be safe. Whatever happens I can see a couple of the bottom 7 seating on getting through 9 minutes of added time inter last match before we know who goes down.

1-1 at the break. Would rather a Rotherham win with Cardiff yet to play at Burnley

1-1 at the break. Would rather a Rotherham win with Cardiff yet to play at Burnley Burnley are hungover and already on the beach, I wouldn't want to rely on them doing us any favours. A draw is fine as it keeps them both on the same points as us and we'd benefit if either slips up over the next couple of weeks.

Cardiff win so they are practically safe with a better goal difference, just need a point mathematically Fair result, seeing as they were Leading in the first game. Rotherham stay below us.

So Blackpool down, Wigan as good as. Who do we think will join them?
Will be interesting to see what Huddersfield get from their 2 games in hand, but suspect it'll be either Rotherham or Reading.
Huddersfield v Reading Wigan v Rotherham
Never thought I'd be looking forward to that a few weeks ago.

At the other end, really hope Blackburn can take at least a point off Luton in the week then beat Millwall on the last day to rob them of a play-off place.

I’m just pleased we manage to stay up. Looks like the last slot will be Reading, rough realky getting those 6 points deduction. Huddersfield have three games just to get one win, they will do that.
Readings only hope is Rotherham lose both.

Yeah I was really gutted Sunderland only drew today, really wanted them to win. Ideally last night we wanted Millwall to draw, anyway let’s see if they can score it up next week.

It really has been a right old scrap since the New Year, can’t remember a squad playing really so utterly poorly week in week out. Somehow with the few players coming back from injury 4-5 weeks ago we managed those two draws against WBA and Norwich which gave us a little bit of belief. The big win was at Burnley, that kept us in this League. Not been a season I want to experience again just glad we showed some fight in the last 4-5 games and pulled it out the bag. I must admit I always thought we would be ok with Blackpool and Wigan never catching us but as soon as Huddersfield starting getting those wins, I thought we was going to drop. Please for Ainsworth. Anyhow we did it, a happy weekend now and we can relax next week and then see what the new season brings. Can’t be any worse, can it ??

Yeah I was the same yesterday , just a relief that the players finally found something in April and now we can breathe again. That was quite some start to a season followed by some slump…..

Big game today, Cardiff v Hudds Cardiff already safe, will they switch off now. I get the feeling Hudds could win this one.
However if Hudds lose and lose again in the week to Sheff Utd, what a game that Hudds v Reading would be next weekend.
