Well if it is to be Hasselbaink can people stop moaning and get behind him. Its going to be embarrassing if he gets stick from the off. If we want to progress we need to support the man. I have heard some say he is arrogant. I see this as confidence. But then being arrogant does not mean a manager will fail. Ferguson, Clough. Mourinho, Dalglish have all been labeled arrogant in the past and all have had success. Lets look beyond his past and perceived personality and see what he brings to the training ground and more importantly the park. I for one am looking forward to welcoming him to LR. It's QPR so no that's not possible unfortunately. Bet Mason has his post ready and waiting to call for his head Nice to see you havnt lost your sense of humour with Uni life and all that boozing Rory

We are no different to any other supporters though. Jackett is just about clinging on to his job at Wolves a few more defeats and he may be gone before Jan. Lots of fans saying they are going backwards from last year not forwards. Trouble is he did to well in his first year after winning Div 1. We will soon find out if JFH just inherited a very good team put together by Rowett who is doing exactly the same at Brum or not ? I think a significant chunk of our supporters are far less patient than we used to be because of the last few years of how the club's been ran and the expectation levels. It feels different to a while ago, and it feels very different to the experience of talking to friends who support clubs of an equivalent size or smaller. But that's just my opinion. I don't think Wolves are necessarily going backwards - I think Jackett's experience at Wolves is pretty much in-line with what I said about him and why I think he would have been appropriate. He's not a premier league promotion winner, he's a fixer. He's a manager who takes disparate teams, settles them, shapes them and makes them competitive again. That Wolves team was in a mess with players on disparate wages and a range of ambitions and talent, layered on over many seasons and were down in league 1 looking a mess. He got them playing good attacking football with a settled squad - no mean feat and one we're seeking to achieve ourselves. That's what he does and he did. Kind of like what Clough had to do at Derby - he probably wouldn't have got Derby up but he created the platform that they now have and took them as far as his skills could. Like I said, he's a stepping stone manager, not a world beater and I feel like that was what we probably needed. All academic though now, by the sounds of it. Yep, all very valid points Bow, think this day and age lots of clubs are in a mess and so it will affect the reign of Managers. Look at Leeds, Forest, Bolton, etc .

OK I changed the title yet again.
If we end up not appointing him/or he changes his mind like Dave Bassett and Wimbledon, I'll change it again

Warnock on Talksport 7 Minute Audio talksport.com/football/exclusive-jimmy-floyd-hasselbaink-can-take-qpr-level-says-neil-warnock-151203176471Neil Warnock is backing Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink to repeat his Burton Albion heroics with QPR.Warnock, the interim Hoops boss, will take temporary charge for the last time on Thursday night for the trip image: images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.pngto Reading, with Hasselbaink expected to be unveiled as Chris Ramsey’s permanent successor on Friday. The Dutchman has been a revelation in his 12 months as Burton Albion manager, leading the club image: images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.pngfrom League image: images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.pngTwo to the top League One, and Warnock reckons he can enjoy similar success at Loftus Road. “He set off with a good squad image: images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.png[at Burton] but took them up a level, and I think he can do that here,” said Warnock, speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast. “If we had won last week at Middlesbrough, which we should have done, we would have been two points image: images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.pngbehind the play-offs and I don’t think there is anything to fear in this league. "It is a great opportunity and a fabulous club." QPR are sitting 12th in the Championship ahead of Thursday night's visit to the Madejski Stadium, 15 points adrift of leaders Brighton. But Warnock insists Hasselbaink does not need to make wholesale changes to turn the club into promotion image: images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1.pngchallengers. "I think the squad only needs tweaking," he said. "There are probably a couple of positions that need a bit more strength in depth but there is a great chance of getting in the play-offs. And once you get in the play-offs, anything can happen." talksport.com/football/exclusive-jimmy-floyd-hasselbaink-can-take-qpr-level-says-neil-warnock-151203176471#MmrryYMoPMHokfiT.99

Warnock's right about it being an opportunity for him, which is how I'm trying to view it in a positive light. He's got a good record at Burton, QPR is an opportunity for him to show that he can do it elsewhere, even though I think he'd do better sticking with Burton til the end of the season. Reckon Warnock shouldn't really be talking to the press about it whilst it's not official though.

I doubt it...He could in theory replace Ferdinand (in a different role) but that supposedly seems not to be happening

Why are we changing from Warnock to an untested Manager? Especially now with a couple of wins under our belt.
Give Warnock the job!

Probably too late.
But if we don't make the playoffs, we're always going to wonder...
And that does put a little extre pressure on J F H (and ownership)

And Flashback almost 7 Years...Totally forgot re this Daily Mail Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink in line to replace Jim Magilton at QPR By Rob Draper, Mail on Sunday Chief Football Writer Updated: 15:38 EST, 12 December 2009 Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has emerged as a shock contender to become the ninth manager in three years at Championship club QPR. Rangers owner Flavio Briatore is considering taking a gamble on 38-year-old Dutchman Hasselbaink, who has become a well-connected mover and shaker on the London social and media scene since retiring from football after the FA Cup final in 2008. Current manager Jim Magilton is suspended after a bust-up with Akos Buzsaky and is unlikely to return to his job, despite denying any wrong-doing. Darren Ferguson, Paul Hart and Gareth Southgate have all been mentioned as possible replacements at Loftus Road, but Hasselbaink is in pole position, despite not having had a managerial position before. His Stamford Bridge connections are not going down well with Rangers fans, either.
