klr you could have at least used one of the other 3 threads you've started for slagging him off...just not efficient If stating the fact that the guy clearly cant play football is slagging him off, then so be it. Mackie shouldnt be playing as a winger / wide midfielder because he's an attacking midfielder, but Shaun Wright-Phillips, dear oh dear.

Here let me throw you a bone
OptaJoe Opta Sports 0 - S Wright-Phillips has had the most shots for QPR in the PL this season (42), Taarabt 2nd-most (41). Neither has scored. Fluffed. 4 hours ago

thought wright phillips was awful today...............thiink he has been awful since he joined to be honest.........he's a 30 year old winger that is well well past his best..........he's the only winger who is scared to actually take on a player.......one trick pony and that trick aint very good

If anyone can name a Premier League player with less technical ability than Shaun Wright Phillips then I'm all ears.
He's like Theo Walcott with ten times less technique, I actually genuinely dont think that he is consciously aware of what he is supposed to be doing, its not a confidence thing either, I think he knows that he cant play football.
And the bigger point here is that England is the only country where players with as little technique as this can "make it" & it's still going on as well.
Fast ? tick
Strong ? tick
Can he play football ? Who gives a sh!t if he can play football, he's big, strong & fast, that is the mentality of youth football in this country, scary!

I wonder if there's any absolute mugs out there that would be stupid enough to take him off his hands ? Forget about Premier League clubs, that particular boat has left port & that was us mugs! I suppose a club like maybe someone like Leicester might be stupid enough to take a bite.
Shaun Wright-Phillips: No ability to score or create goals = relegation.

But I get the impression you dont rate Shaun Wright Phillips.

He is awful, just awful.
I actually go in to it quite a bit deeper & think its stuff like this why I have grown to despise football, he is FIFTY THOUSAND POUNDS A WEEK.
I have washed my hands with this sport, all I've got to say to you lot is, I feel for you, I was one of you lot ten years ago & no one can say that I've never loved Rangers or Football in my time, but these lot do not give a toss lads & they are taking the p!ss out of you & our football club bigtime.
I would rather jump off the top of Tower Bride with a rope around my neck than pay fifty quid to watch the likes of Shaun Wright-Phillips at Loftus Road, I'm done with it!

I'm sorry, but he is a frighteningly bad player. He cannot score, He cannot create goals, he appears to have no idea whatsoever on how to actually play football. If we want to stay in this league, we need players who can score & create goals, we will get relegated with players like Shaun Wright-Phillips in our team. The lack of technical ability is truly frightening, how did a player that limited "make it" in the first place ? Only in England that lasted 2 minutes ;D

He didnt show up today. Hughes should have subbed him. That decision was as shocking as Shaun's performance. And I second the thought of relegation. I do hope that Hughes knows how to change our game, coz otherwise we're definitely going down playing so dull, flat and disorganized. A few players can change something, but we need to change our foundation and stop looking sad.

I believe he thought that ref's gonna blow the whistle for Hill's foul and that affected the shot. His other low shots were soft. Let's admit it, he's pants at it. He either hoofs them wide or rolls it so soft like he would be passing back to a keeper.

I thought we played a bit 'errm?', if you know what I mean. Maybe we did try to deliver Hughes's homework, but that surely didnt look convincing. We almost played football. Lots of misplaced passes, accidentally forming attacks... Newcastle were as average as us, but most of the time you could recognize a play pattern, a plan in their game. That's why I'm reluctant to call it 'organized'.

Get behind the team Hughes put out the best team available to him. Boothroyd and SWP both hit the post and did exactly what the manager asked of them. I do hope you keep your whinging to these boards and get behind the plsyers on the pitch because it does the team no good to be so negative

I honestly don't have a problem with SWP... (Or Bothroyd) except for lack of goals... And actually every QPR player almost, I like...(Unfortunately some may not be quite good enough for the Premiership...But people like Derry and Hill do their best)...I don't see the not-trying/not caring players in our team

agree with the more positive posts.
we had a weakened team and before the game a lot of people was dreading the result and performance.
We was very well organised.
We had many shots.
Hit the woodwork twice.
Newcastle had 1 shot on target and scored from it.
We got a glowing review on MOTD even tho we lost.
All this with a weakened team. We definatly deserved at least a draw and if someone who scores goals comes in i think it will inspire others to find their shooting boots. Particually Tarrabt.
Im looking forward to Dons and Wigan.

Well spotted Hogan, you are the only one my friend to see that SWP played 90% of the game on the left and middle again. Also when he did get down the right (final minutes) he skinned the left back but promptly went on to cross poorly ...along the floor to the covering defender, another quality final ball from a player quickly becoming as bad a signing as puncheon. Headless chicken, always was and always will be.

Be realistic guys, we were away at Newcastle who are high in the league and we were a severely weakened team. I was predicting a 2 or 3 nil loss. I agree that Bothroyd should have done better with his volley but othterwise I thought it was a decent performance and SWP didn't play too badly.

WTF? 42 shots on goal and none scored. For an "experienced EPL" performer, that's up there with Mark Hately. At least Adel has an excuse. Hardly being used.

Totally agree.I had this match written off for a 2 nil loss at least.I was pleasantly surprised how organised we were and we made quite a few chances. It made a nice change for us to actually turn up in the first 45 minutes.
