That is exactly what a BBC sports reporter just tweeted, word for word. @leon_Mann Leon Mann Bassong advisor tells me his move to #QPR is 'pretty much done'. He's in Cameroon so getting paperwork sorted the only potential issue #THFC Yep. It's taken from the Beebs twit feed.

Why arent we bothering with Dann? Young gifted and much talked about, yet £5m seems a great deal, and i bet wages arent stupid either. Also i would like to see Bendtner as well, very promising and maybe too much to live upto at Arsenal!! Would be a good young, talented and both would if successful command a a good resale fee, not so some of the others that are rumoured! Im sure ill be happy anyway and cant believe we're in the thick of it!! Oh what difference a couple of weeks make!

Isnt it a little hard to do a physical if he's in Cameroon?

Fingers crossed for that one, a back line of Traore, Bassong, Ferdinand and Young looks pretty good.

But he had his fingers crossed, so it doesn't count.

Oh well, I'm not too bothered about Crouch. I think DJ and Jay will do fine and if we are struggling for goals then we can always loan someone in the January window.

Curbishley said earlier that you can't sign player subject to medicals anymore...so I presume you get someone locally to do it or you take him on a loan until January I think there are special circumstances if the player is away on international duty. As long as the player has agreed to the terms and the deal with the club is done I think it is alright. We wouldn't be trying to sign him if we couldn't do it.

Sorry but I very much doubt Mackie will score more than both DJ or Jay.

Just heard that one of the papers are reporting that Kenwyne Jones is on his way here due to Crouch and Jerome signing for Stoke.

No Bellamy or Crouch must admit i'm a bit disappointed. But i suppose two weeks i wouldnt have been in this position and we have addressed other areas so i'm happy providing Puncheon dont sign. Sturridge might go to Swansea , you watch Brendan do some Chelsea grovelling.

1903: It's all gone a little bit quiet on Craig Bellamy's move to Liverpool (or anywhere). News on that when I get any. QPR probably haven't given up on him either. The way Neil Warnock is going, he will be trying to sign you and me tonight too.news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/9575900.stm
