In some ways Warnock is now in a weaker position. Before he was loved by the fans...and the board was hated by (most) fans...But Warnock was probably near resignation/or axing... Now, he's still loved by the fans...and backed by the board (both with finances and personally)....But obviously, the Board are now also heroes and loved...And if somehow the club was in relegation danger, not so sure the fans would say "Stick with Warnock." Fans are Fickle... But if they back him and give him funds/players I think they're entitled to expect results and if he doesn't produce the EVENTUALLY he should go

we all wanted him to be given a chance and support, and he's getting both.
if he doesnt perform then of course he should go.

I am completely stunned and at the same time excited with the names we are being linked with. A month ago I would have accused people of talking nonesense, but now this seems like the most realistic dream I've ever had.

Dave McIntyre QPR chase deadline-day deals 31/08/2011 by David McIntyre QPR have agreed a deal with Manchester City for Shaun Wright-Phillips but will need to overcome a late hitch if they are to complete his signing before the end of the day. City are happy to sell but Rangers have so far been unable to finalise an agreement with the England international, and talks are ongoing. Meanwhile, the club are on course to bring Peter Crouch back to Loftus Road from Tottenham. Crouch, a crowd favourite during his first spell with the R’s, is also wanted by Sunderland and Stoke. Rangers have this morning spoken to the agent of Craig Bellamy – another player Manchester City are looking to offload - and are waiting to discover if Birmingham will part with Liam Ridgewell in light of defender Scott Dann’s expected departure from St Andrews. R’s boss Neil Warnock is keen to recruit at least one centre-back before today’s transfer deadline and has the option of signing Anton Ferdinand, as a deal to buy him from Sunderland is in place. www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-chase-deadline-day-deals/

I hope not, definitely not worth that much. But if Crouch will only come to us and Spurs want to shift his salary then they may have to reduce their price

Doubt Harry will lower it, if he is to join it would be a loan.

Queens Park Rangers are lining up a triple swoop on deadline day. Boss Neil Warnock is attempting to push through deals for Craig Bellamy, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Anton Ferdinand. With Bellamy out of favour at Manchester City, Warnock has targeted the veteran Welshman to spearhead his strikeforce. It is not yet clear whether Bellamy would arrive on a loan deal or in a permanent switch given his breakdown in discussions over a pay-off from City. Wright-Phillips is another City outcast who could end up at Loftus Road. The England winger has been pushed out of the first-team picture at the Etihad Stadium and would welcome a return to London. Ferdinand, who is ready to quit Sunderland to make his own return to the capital, is currently in discussions over his move. ckat, i am starting to worry about the finance situation tho. lot of money being discussed today. gibraltar, there you go waking me up. I have to admit that I'm also concerned regarding the Finances. I'm hoping the squad we're acquiring see us well safe from relegation and we are in the Premiership next season, that will help to cover the contracts we're now offfering.

Its a risk thats worth taking when getting to the prem. The most important thing though is they are spending wisely - on proven players, at this level. Not wasting money on european's........ With the signings mentioned and that have been made, we should have enough quality to stay up. If NW isn't capable of doing that - then we are in BIG trouble. ~I am delighted we are giving it a go.

They're kinda shit, if that's what you meant Known for collecting bad boys Oh. Or maybe we're simply becoming The New Newcastle. All we need to add is Bellamy and Bowyer. I think Bellamy is a wonderful player and his partnership with Tevez was one of the best and most natural I've ever witnessed... but QPR? Not sure I want to see him in (blue and white) hoops.
