Has real ability but was caught out in the prem against palace but think we're all waiting to see if he pushes on and can compete at champs level . We really want him to be answer as if there's one position we need , it's a specialist right back . I bet he shone with you guys but champs is less forgiving!

Cant knock a decision that's been made regarding our strategy of recruitment and there seems more cohesion. Is JFH going to be our new venables ? Maybe , maybe not but can't see why he isn't applauded for his time at Burton and for ridding us of high earners and building a team the way we should on a budget way less than we spent on Samba. This next year isn't going to be easy but happy with the progress . I'd include LF in the applauding too. He's in charge of the recruitment/exiting of big earners strategy. Agree .. Very little to complain about, good team work!

Caulker and Onouha to Bournemouth ? Please please let this be true , doubt it though not for the money that's been mentioned , has to be nonsense doesn't it ? Keep looking at news now to see if any credence but keeps coming up with re-hash of the stars original story. Maybe Twitter McIntyre to see if any legs in it !

Good looking at those two teams as well with team we're building on a shoestring looks very capable. Age doesn't matter for a season but this new lot need only a little tinkering each year to move on and improve. Don't think promotion next year but happy we'll have a team to cheer rather than moan about each week.

From the Daily Star www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/529798/Bournemouth-transfer-news-Eddie-Howe-QPRBournemouth plotting double swoop for QPR starsEDDIE HOWE is planning to solve his Bournemouth defensive crisis by raiding QPR for Steven Caulker and Nedum Onuoha. By Alex Smith / Published 13th July 2016 The Cherries are prepared to splash £15m to boost the back line with the pair – who both tick Howe’s boxes of being home grown and have top flight experience. Howe has only two senior centre backs in his squad after releasing Sylvain Distin and allowing skipper Tommy Elphick join Aston Villa. QPR are keen to dump 24-year-old Caulker’s £40,000 wages off their books – having not played in blue and white hoops since May 2015. The England international snubbed a move to the Cherries last summer, instead picking south coast neighbours Southampton – where he flopped and had his season loan cut short. He was also close to a January move to Dean Court but Liverpool stole in to grab a six-month stint. Former Manchester City defender Onuoha, 29, was an ever-present in the Championship last season after being made captain last summer. The Cherries have already recruited Lys Mousset, Nathan Ake, Lewis Cook and Emerson Hyndman – with Jordon Ibe expected to complete his club record £15m move before the end of the wee Yes please .. Leave us short but glad to get players who want to be here and fight for promotion. (Onouha a professional and did give his best but lacking) happy with money and happy they'd pick another great player or potential player without being hamstrung by wages! .. Signings this year give me faith with our scouting and kind of exciting

I guess we need an experienced Championship Striker really. What about Millwalls Lee Gregory , around 1.5 Million, scored 27 goals last term ? Good call , 27 goals .. Earned that opportunity to play at higher league and already lives in London.

Hope we get Leckie as with money we are spending we need goals from midfield as good forwards even average strikers cost a fortune which we aren't spending! .... Could any suggest a striker we would go after for a mill? .. Loan is better option but perm of goal scoring midfielder seems more sensible with money spent on striker if poss of prem promotion

Well proud strangely with no monetary reward but made me really enjoy tournament and thanks Roller for all the hard work. Didn't see Portugal having a chance with France being fair having better performances but enjoy Eusebio .. Well done , you won which means you deserve!

No but he was our standard and good at it. During a bloody miserable time where players turned up to to turn us over for a paycheque he and I'll put Hill and Derry in same reverence as players who gave a shit and in Faurlins case had youth and skill .... The type we wanted here. Hard not to love the fella as we can't get messi but eleven with those threes commitment and professionalism and I'd be happy .

Eus' selection shows you. Actions speak louder than words. He's one of the best players in the Socceroos IMO Want him here then and seems good acquisition if we get him! ...like who we're after but not sure over pole we've signed as all reports seem to say alright but lacking

Seems to be a good solid signing but as other have said time will tell. I just hope this does not mean JFH sees Ned playing as full back and he should not be the team captain either imo. Ned should be a good squad player as cover for the centre backs but we need people playing in their natural positions and Ned is not a full back. This ^^^^^^^

Love them all and re-invented rectro home kit reminds me of classic Guinness kit. I'm not as precious about away kit as hoops and blinding badge ... Third is totally different but classy colour combo! Well done QPR , see it's not that difficult 😀

Washington has pace, time/youth and physical presence but has never scored or scared defenders when I've seen him play. Is he our new Mackie?
Do you think he'll come good? ... I'm not sure
