Has real ability but was caught out in the prem against palace but think we're all waiting to see if he pushes on and can compete at champs level . We really want him to be answer as if there's one position we need , it's a specialist right back . I bet he shone with you guys but champs is less forgiving!

He took a couple of games to shine, but when he found his feet he was excelent. A nice turn of pace too. He probably had to much time in league 2. Thats why he got caught out at Palace. We all hope he does well. Will keep an eye out for his progress

Cambridge fan, how is Harry Habin? He used to visit the official MB when it existed and was an excellent participant.

Harry has been quiet latley. Maybe waiting for the big kick off against the mighty Barnet.

Darnell has been looking decent - really hard to tell without seeing him get a proper run of games in the Championship though. Good speed, good feet, decision making still seems a little weak/slow but that will probably get better with time. Really hope he can push on and hold down at least a sub-role this season and if not, be given a chance somewhere else rather than not being used properly here. Regular competitive football seems so important for players of that age.
Best of luck for the season, Cambridge fan!

Thanks for that bowranger. If he dont game time send him down the m11. We would gladly have him. We thought he might be loaned to a L1 team this season. He will make it. Good luck to you this season as well.

Personally I'm undecided on Darnell, would love him to make it here especially with his family links to QPR but I'm just not sure he's good enough to be a regular in the Championship.

Know what you mean but Kpekwa , Doughty , Shodipo are also in the same bracket and if 2 of them come through then it's more than Chelsea man city and most prem teams combined! ..

I rate all three of those players way above Furlong personally, I think the coaches do too. Petrasso can be included in that as well.

From westlondonsport quoting the fan forum www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-bosses-stand-decision-loan-youngster-swindonQPR bosses stand by decision to loan youngster to SwindonBy West London Sport 08/09/2016 Les Ferdinand and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have defended the decision to send QPR youngster Darnell Furlong on a season-long loan to Swindon. Speaking at a fansâ forum, Rangers director of football Ferdinand and manager Hasselbaink both insisted the move was in Furlongâs interests. The 20-year-old right-back has previously played League Two football on loan at Northampton and Cambridge, and QPR were keen for him to now play at League One level. âWe felt he could benefit from the step up and going out and playing more league football,â said Ferdinand. âHe perhaps wasnât going to get that here and as progression goes I think itâs a good step for him.â Hasselbaink said: âLast year he was in League Two and did really well. We felt he needed to make that step up. âWe had to ask âIs he better than James Perch and Nedum Onuoha?â. At this moment in time, no, so then he is going to sit here as the third right-back and thatâs not good for his development. âWe wanted to send him to a club where he is going to get develop and get better and then weâll look in yearâs time a yearâs time if he can challenge for that position.â

Furlong is better thsn Perch or the Chief at RB. Doesnt say much about them but hey....... Kpekwa Has gone and advertised doughty for sale with JET ... Petrasso nowhere near first team along with furlong ... Shodipo is only one who is being looked at for atleast supporting role! Still happy though with in comings and how we're run.
