You could say the defence was stronger against Yeovil Green , Hall , Perch, Onouha , Kpekawa. was the Yeovil line up. But Perch hasnt looked great anyway. Midfield against Yeovil was Doughty , Gobern Phillips , Gladwin . JET and Polter up top against Yeovil . Good to see Luongo , Chery and Phillips on the bench if things not going to plan. Come on Rangers, make the last 32

Might see Cherry Luongo and Phillips early in 2 nd half . We need to win this game.

Name of the day - Carlisle substitute Archibald-Henville. Whats with people? Used to be the rich and posh who had double barrel names and now its the complete opposite.
Anyway, a shot which went close from Hoilett.

just when you think Ramsey is starting to get it, he gets a sawn of shot gun and blows both of his feet off.
Shocking but the result was predictable with the players he picked.

I am so so ANGRY tonight . Probably more so than losing 6-0 to City and 5-1 to Leicester under Ramsey.
The League Cup is a competition we should do well in and have a run.
Dropping 10 players from Saturdays team was pathetic . Against Yeovil we still had Onouha , Green, Perch , Phillips , Luongo starting , criminal today.
Ramsey then brings on Comley another fcuking kid , I am livid . Then brings on Chery with 7 minutes to go.
That game lost all the good feeling and respect I had had for Ramsey over the last two weeks, The team selection and substitutes could have been selected by a ten year old.
Even one of our teams at every level cant defend and lets in goals and goals.
DIRE , PATHETIC , RUBBISH .. SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN LAST 32 RAMSEY
Cant wait from the bullshit from the club why they picked such a weak team with only one player from Saturday keeping his place. #letthefansdown

8 of the last 11 seasons, we've been knocked out of the cup by lower league opposition.
Disgusting even by our low standards.
No excuses for that kind of stat.

But Harr., we've been doing that for years, playing a string of also rans together for the first time, while the lower league team plays their best first team. No wonder we go out so quickly.
Mac., and Bushman, and Sharky got it right. You just can't fight the QPR ethic. Limp out of Cups early. Why? Cos thats how we do it. Old habits never die. But I am furious too, but will get over it. Not good for the old
Cardiac system.

This is a money loser for the club tonight, poor selection why put on a second team ? Just not enough & work rate done yet for the manager to put his guard down. Let the fans down and club with poor decision making. 1 step forward, 2 steps back...

Not good for the old Cardiac system. I know London but this Cup every year gets easier for teams of our level to progress to last eight or four . Carlisle at home with 5 players from Saturdays team and 6 others like We did for Yeovil and we win the game. You dont put out a team that weak , even Redknapp, Warnock , Hughes , Holloway didnt rest ten players from an 11 players that start in the League. Previous years we have dropped 5,6 maybe even 7 players not 10 that was UNFORGIVEABLE from Ramsey and the Club Then when you have Phillips Chery and Luongo on the bench, dont bring Comley on ffs . Then Chery with 7 minutes to go , dire. Sorry London that was team selection and substitutioning at its very worse . The CLUB and RAMSEY should be ASHAMED . That was the worse of all Ramseys 21 games, worse than the 6-0 to me .

Normal reception has resumed. Play the 2nd team and get beaten by lower league team.
I'm not surprised. Disappointed yes, but not surprised!
Oh yes, and why did we play the 2nd team? Because the game v Huddersfield is more important and it's our 4th in 2 weeks so we needed to rest players at some time. The Cup game is the obvious one.

Did anyone see the game. How did Smithies look. He had no chance with their second as the Carlisle player who scored ran the entire length of our half without anybody picking him up, straight thru the defence into our box for a goal line tap in. Criminal defending and absolutely no cover from the midfield. Disgraceful. Smithies made a decent save in the second half low to his left and got to the loose ball after it rebounded off his arm before the Carlisle player got to it, but again there was no excuse from the defence for letting the Carlisle player run unchallenged into the box looking for the rebound. There weren't that many chances in the game to really form an opinion of Smithies to be honest, though his distribution was alright as we continually played the ball along the midfield then back to the defenders and then the keeper all night. Gobern was particularly poor, hopefully we won't see him again this season ever. All in all a woeful performance that was ultimately shameful.

But just for once some of us wanted a different ending to the script. Even sh*te players are capable of raising their game sometimes. Why can't it be our sh*te players that do it, for a change?
