Very much this. Standards at QPR are so low now that we applaud players who actually do what they're being paid multiple tens of thousands of pounds a week to do. We should be expecting the club captain to be doing that and keeping his nose clean on and off the pitch. That should be a minimum requirement not an added bonus. This all stems back to the culture of desperation that led us to sign these players in the first place and made them feel like we should be grateful that they deemed us worthy of their services. Bow a thoughtful and insightful comment sadly undermined by the complete diarrhoea.
I think they called it over identification when Hitler had the same disease! Any kind of lucid thought outside of ones ego is automatically dismissed!!
Still just had an excellent evening with my beautiful wife in an excellent restaurant in Poole harbour this evening...it was light until 10.30!!
That does indeed sound like a good evening, duster. Off to hospital with mine in a few hours time as she has to have a knee op. Going to have to do the school run for the next few weeks at least and change my hours at work as she'll be immobile for a while afterwards. Not looking forward to having to wake the kids up, do their packed lunches, stop them killing each other and get them into school on time! This, of course, is the bit when she says 'see what I have to do every morning while you've already got up and gone to work!'

No offense taken. No problem with different views to mine, thats what makes a message board. Op should be OK. Wife has been suffering for over a year with torn knee cartlidge, not good when she is on her feet all day at work. Least she knows how Faurlin feels!

Hope the Knee opp went well and your wife is recovering well bud. Yes mate, thanks for asking. All went OK She had an overnight stay as the op wasn't till late last night in the end, but home now and she's fast asleep after scoffing a massive pizza I bought for her last night. She's got crutches and can't drive for a couple of weeks so I'm going to be her and the kids chauffeur for the next fortnight. Lucky girl gets a month off work now too. She's clearly fine though, as she was shouting at me within minutes of me picking her up from hospital this morning. They should have given her more drugs!!!

But he would love to be an idol in front of a big Leeds crowd so maybe but dont see them getting out the Championship any time soon.

What the Yorkshire Post said.
FORMER England midfielder Joey Barton has again been linked with a possible move to Leeds United - although the YP understands the financial package involved in luring the 32-year-old to Elland Road is likely to scupper any serious hopes of a move.
Barton was released by relegated QPR in May, with the Huyton-born player coming to the end of a lucrative contract at Loftus Road, where his weekly wages were in the region of £65,000-68,000 per week.
Some discussions did take place about Barton remaining in West London, but the fresh terms that QPR were offering were understood to be way short of what the Liverpudlian was seeking and he was not prepared to take a massive pay cut and stay.
The Rs captain is now considering his options, with Leeds having been mentioned as a possible next port of call.
But given his wage demands, it is highly unlikely that Leeds would be in a position to follow up any significant interest in Barton - whose next contract is likely to be the final one of his career.
Back in May, Barton was linked with a return to Marseille, where he spent a redemptive spell on loan in 2012-13.
But Marseille president Vincent Labrune ruled out any potential move due to Barton’s wage demands - after the midfielder’s agent asked the French outfit if they would him to join them next season.
Speaking last month, Labrune said: “The agent call me last week to offer me Joey for next year, but I don’t think so.”
