Hi I'm from... Well anyway, been supporting the Rs since the year we won the League Cup. If that makes me a gloryhunter, blame my generous former neighbours and the freebie to the Colchester game (or was it Sc**thorpe?!).
A couple of mates recommended this site as the place for considered opinion. We'll see. Now where's that JonDoeman??

Hello Brix, welcome to the thinking man's message board, you'll fit right in! There you are JD!! I've left you a PM. Yeah, Roller said the same thing about the quality of opinion on here, so we'll start sticking our two penn'orth in pretty soon I reckon. All seems a bit foreign atm but the mists tend to clear with time - even for me!

I have followed QPR since the late 70's and pretty much obsessed with them. Not a season ticket holder though this season

Hi, Origionally a NW London Boy, but now living near Newcastle for the last two years and missing my seat in Sth Africa Rd and the fact that after years of suffering I finally leave and we go up, so thought I would sign up, have viewed sight and found some really funny banter and thats what ive missed most since living in the frozen north.

Hi All, I have been supporting the R's from about 1966, as I am originally from Bayswater, although I must say there is little recollection of my first visits with my cousins (they lived 5 Min's from LR) as I was only 5 but I can remember sitting on my dad's shoulders for my first memorable moment when we beat Oxford Utd 5-0 in '67. I have been living and working in the Netherlands for almost 11 years and only manage a 4/5 matches a season but have seen all but 2 games this season live mostly on line shouting at the computer hoping that you can hear me at the other end ;D Have just been introduced by JonDoeman to come on to this site as up until now I have used the not606, however I heard from one or two other supporters there is a better quality of posts here.

We endeavour to try and have a reasonable MB. Intelligent discussions are encouraged and cheap shots are hopefully discouraged. Welcome aboard Flan, as well as Kentucky.

Hi I'm a QPR season ticket holder and have been for the last 13 years and I have been to every home match this season, except Chelsea which I sadly missed due to the fact that I was in China.
Still I'm confident I'll see us win at home at least once this season. I've been reading this board for a while now and thought I'd join up and contribute my views

Afternoon I should have joined this site ages ago.............apologies! I love the Rangers, and my earliest memories was seeing big Alan McDonald winning all headers on the plastic in W12. Just had our first baby. One week old and a gorgeous girl, she loves her daddy and the Super hoops!!

Hi to everyone ! I'm italian but HATE italian football and my favourite club is ATHLETIC CLUB de Bilbao. Always liked English football however and used to be a Leeds Utd. and Crewe Alexandra fan. (that's because a former girlfriend lived there for a few years) Can't honestly consider myself as fanatical QPR's supporter, but i always had a liking for the Club, their history and some of his players. (Les Ferdinand (easy !) Simon Stainrod, Mark Hateley, Daniele Dichio (lesser easy ) and especially Peter Crouch just to name a few. Ciao a tutti ! ps: i simply HATE Briatore, while i liked Palladini.

Hi, I'm from Sydney, Australia. I have supported the Hoops since I was a young lad when I saw them on television in the FA cup final against Spurs (think it was 1982). Liked the colours and besides no one else I knew went for them.
Being of a Dutch background voetbal (football) has been in my blood for years and I am a big fan of the oranje as well as Feyenoord Rotterdam. Having lived in Veendam for a spell as a kid I also follow Veendam. My young son is called Willem - so he will probably support Willem II (but I will make sure I indoctrinate him to become a QPR supporter).
Thankfully with Fox Sports and Setanta at home I can get more than my share of both the Premiership and the Eredivisie. I also like watching the Bundesliga.
Really enjoy reading this board and look forward to contributing.
cheers Leroy.

Hello Al...l Im from that hotbed of Rs support Northolt but lived in Scotland for 30+ years I started going to Loftus Rd when I was 14 in 66 just before Rangers started going places My first game was against Hull John Collins got a hatrick
Over the years Ive been going to Rangers games 3/4 times a season Went to Wembley for the Oxford game overnight on the bus from Inverness Oh dear. Went to the 6-0 Palace The Playoff final Leeds home last season and many games up north away, Huddersfield, Tranmere, Man City Leeds Barnsley etc This season Ive been to Goodison and MK Dons away So Ive served my time. My favourite game still has to be away at Newcastle where we won 2-1 Steyskal saved a last minute penalty and Les was awesome. Hope to make the Sunderland game in March When I went to Sydney when my son was travelling out there I organised a meet up with Rangers supprters at Paddy Murphys bar in Sydney and about 7 guys turned up A good night

Bushman Thanks for posting memories of my first game I still have the programme but not the photo of John celebrating his goal On scrolling back I see I have already introduced myself my memory is not what it used to be I forgot to mention I met Olly and the players when they were up here on their Highland Tour after we got promoted. I got my picture in the local paper with Gareth Ainsworth and Kevin Gallen signing a shirt My 5 mins of fame.
