Ridiculous that at this stage of the season Huddersfield have played 5 more games than Bournemouth. Middlesbrough losing at Barnsley and sheff utd losing at Millwall have somehow been missed off this thread🤣. Buckle up and enjoy the ride everyone.

I don’t think it was really a disgrace to lose to Millwall Kilburn, they are playing pretty well this side of Christmas it hurts me to say. I think the way we played at the den was pretty disgraceful though we could easily have lost that game 4 or 5, we were fodder. Millwall will keep on upsetting some big teams this season. I don’t think Huddersfield had a game cancelled all season, yet Bournemouth seemed to be playing a team that had Covid one week , then damage at a ground a following week, a lot of things they could do nothing about really . If you look at Bournemouths run in start at the end of March it’s shocking so many games and tough ones. They might still lose out on 2nd place although it won’t be us taking it.

Millwall, Bournemouth, Coventry, Luton and Boro all playing games in hand tomorrow. As Sheff Utd play Boro only winner of that match and Luton can go above us so may be 7 th tomorrow. Could really do with draws in Blackburn,Coventry and Boro games.
Blackburn Rovers v Millwall AFC Bournemouth v Peterborough United Coventry City v Luton Town Sheffield United v Middlesbrough

Down to 7th after being in top six since September, guess that is what happens when you can’t beat Barnsley Hull and Cardiff. I reckon if we lose at Luton and Forest , with the fixtures coming up might struggle to finish in top half .

I reckon if we lose at Luton and Forest , with the fixtures coming up might struggle to finish in top half . Both teams in form and we are not. Bad defeats or at least one shock, that is the Championship. But if we lose both, I think the players will start phoning it in, and the inevitable slide could follow. Real test of the manager and the players now. Be interesting to see if Austin is in Sunday's squad. Lots of mutterings on the dark side.

Either 1. Fall out with Warburton for playing Willock instead of him as a striker. or 2. Abusive fans who turned on his wife and children and he does not want to play for us again. or 3. Clickbait. or 4. Covid in the family

Thank you I did here some people turned on his wife and children, what can you say, some people stoop so low. The Willock is a first I have heard of but I thought he was ill so don’t get that Could also just be illness or a longer term injury the club do not want to talk about. Johansen went "sick" at the same time so maybe there is a bug going round - or our 2 most senior players are not on board with recent changes to the team. Maybe rickyqpr can expand - he seems to be in the know.

Maybe rickyqpr can expand - he seems to be in the know. Not in the know at all. There are countless Twitter / social media theories about what is going on with Charlie, most of which are probably total rubbish, so I will not forward. But suffice to say, our club does not report in detail on absences or injuries any more. Johansen missed the last game with 'illness' and Charlie missed with 'something similar' according to WLS. Both are said to be available for Sunday, so hopefully we can move on. Team morale was fantastic when we were winning, but last Saturday there was a lot of arguing going on, including at the final whistle. We certainly miss a fit Johansen, Field has come back strong and for me either Amos or Dozzell or even Thomas should take the third spot ahead of loanee Hendrick. We need to develop our own and although Hendrick has not dome anything wrong, he has not done anything outstanding either. We need to get the belief and sprit back for Sunday. I note that Dillon Barnes has been recalled from Aldershot for Sunday.

I was told today Charlie will be back against Luton . Also told alot of unhappy people about Warbs current handling of team mater's . This is all from a sorce at the training ground. But could be all hearsay

Yeah Hendricks needs to be replaced with the names you mention, we need to revert back to who we used before him imo. If anything has made the team weaker. Looking forward to Charlie and Johansen returning but such has been the level of our performances since Feb I hold no hope of winning either of the next two away games so will be pleasantly surprised if the team actually puts in a high level performance that we were used to.

Blackburn lost at Home in last minute , Millwall v Boro good result and Cov best in form Sheff Utd. Bournemouth win What with Hudds being 2 up last night and finishing 2-2 , only bad result was Forest winning.
We need a win , simples

Bournemouth's games in hand should be enough to get them automatic with Fulham. Huddersfield must be due a dip. Sheffield Utd blew it today. Even Coventry and Millwall could gatecrash the party. All about a run of form now. Tomorrow is crucial for us. Although we need a win, to not lose must be the first objective to turning a corner.

TBF, people say that every season but promoted teams don't always come straight back down. Brentford currently 9pts above relegation.

To be fair it's a piss poor league, compared to the prem. Let's not kid ourselves, Anyone getting promoted are coming straighht back down. 150 million in the bin who cares🤣. Yes and No re the first part. What we are seeing is the result of many years of PL money and the divide between the PL and Championship getting bigger season by season and the PL packed with star players from abroad. So while there is the big divide that does not make the Championship a piss poor league. There are a couple of bad teams at the bottom and Fulham walking away at the top but just look the table and how it it has re-bunched in recent weeks after there being a breakaway of 7 or 8 at the top. The championship is an open league and far more interesting than the constant drone about Man City Liverpool and Chelski. We have been on our bad run (but are still 4th) and hopefully our bad run ended today. Blackburn have been just as bad recently so the top 10 or 11 are all back in the mix. That is what makes the Championship interesting. Anything can happen over the next 10 games and the teams that have the strongest finish are the ones who will make the play-offs. Huddersfield could make a big impact but could also be due a bad run - Forest - we will see in the next few days. It seems every time a team breaks into the top 3 or 4 they instantly fall away. Frankly the only time I look at the PL table is to see who are in the bottom 6 and likely to come back down - hopefully we could be going the other way. If we do I do not worry too much about dropping back down or being a yoyo team 200 million in teh clubs bank will be worth a potentially painful season in the PL but look at Brighton and Brentford - you never know.

Sheff Utd win takes us to 7th for now but we have the game in hand.
Can't believe I'm saying it but a win for the Fakes today would be good - puts Derby one step nearer the drop, keeps Blackburn's poorish run going and gives us 2 games in hand on them but only 2 points behind. Still that should have put the kiss of death on Readings chances today

Thanks for playing, Huddersfield.
Now it's Luton Town's turn to play hunt down Bournemouth for the second automatic promotion spot.
Have fun with it. Didn't turn out so well for West Brom, Blackburn, us or Huddersfield Town.

Nothing changes in the Championship , two games played and 1 team with a 100% record. Kilburn, interested re your three straight up and three straight down if that will happen this year bearing in mind how much Forest spending? Although I hope it does

Although I hope it does I think that Southampton are looking like last season's Burnley. But of the three going up, it will be interesting to see if Fulham get it right this time. Forest - basket case who could get away with it. Brentford are going more and more Danish - depends on keeping Toney fit for their survival. As for the Championship - yeah I guess that the automatics will go to the relegated teams, but then the play-offs are a complete lottery - and it is that hope that keeps the other 21 teams going I guess.
