As long as Smithies doesn't get hurt. Remember in the day at Derby County in the 40s when Reg Allen broke a finger and we lost to Derby 5-1.

Blog: FT QPR 0, MK Dons 1 QPR are out of the FA Cup after Ousseynou Cisse's 60th minute goal sends the League One side through.

Once again MK Dons knock us out of the FA Cup. Last time this happened it cost NW his job. Will Ollie lose his?!

Ollie picks a stronger team and still gets beat by a League One Club.
Let’s hope he can get 50 points?.
More likely Burton will beat us next.
Pathetic

On the positive side at least we can now concentrate on the League!

Where have I heard that before. If this is our "strong side" maybe we should have played our weak side.

One mistake by Scowen let's them have a goal. We had a cast iron penalty turned down, 2 shots cleared off the line and Smith was used as a climbing frame all match with no sanction from the ref.
That's what makes today so f**ing frustrating. We actually played alright, the youth did ok and we didn't roll over like we normally do.
What a waste of a Saturday, absolutely frozen watching one of the most frustrating, poorly refereed games I've seen in years. And paid extra for the privilege.
Roll on Burton.

The most solid bet in professional sports on every continent, this one.
No matter where it’s played or who the opposition are, QPR will fail to win a 3rd Round FA cup tie at the first time of asking.
True, it’s closely followed into 2nd place by the Patriots winning the AFC East every season Brady and Belichick are there.
But this QPR one is the most nailed on bet you will ever get in all of pro sports as long as you live.

I voted with my wallet and didn't go.
This is truly becoming a boring statistic although Jeff Sterling called it a shock, in reality it's not.
I'm not sure we have progressed past the effective 'first' proper round of any cup for at least 10 seasons and teams must relish being drawn against the Number 32 in the FA Cup.
Wins should inspire confidence and winning should become a nice habit and I'd hoped after Cardiff that perhaps we could go on a run.
I fear that a negative result next week against Burton will see the inevitable although I still feel it is the lack of tactical intelligence at management level that needs to be addressed. Getting rid of Holloway is not the solution, the man needs help, that much is blatantly obvious. He needs someone to support him that can suggest strategic substations or formations.
Whilst jobs for the boys seems a great solution for inspiring fan 'buy in'; it's not working.
