Rodney Marsh joined QPR from Fulham in March 1966.
Then March 19, 1966: Marsh made his debut away to Peterborough. Drew 1-1 and didn't score. The team for Marsh's debut: Peter Springett -Langley, Hunt Sibley Watson - Lazarus, Keen, Roger Morgan, Allen, Collins Marsh.

- "Remember it very well. I was useless! QPR were in the third division and it was my first game outside of the top league. As a twenty one year old it took me time to adjust!"

Rodney William Marsh. Born 11 October 1944 in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
Chairman Jim Gregory signed Marsh for Rangers on Tuesday. March 15th, 1966 from Fulham for £15,000.
He played his first match for Rangers at Peterborough on Saturday. March 19th, 1966, and laid on a goal for John Collins in a 1-1 draw.
His first match at Loftus Rd was against Millwall on Saturday, March 26th, 1966. He scored two goals in that match resulting in a 6-1 win for Rangers.
His last game at Loftus Rd was against Blackpool. Saturday, 12th February, 1972. Rangers lost 1-0.
Rodney played his last game on Saturday, 4th March, 1972 away to Bristol City. He was substituted at half-time. Rangers lost 2-0.
The following week he was transferred to Manchester City for £200,000.
