West London Sport QPRRedknapp defiant after another QPR defeat Redknapp had said he as confident Remy would not leave shortly before the deadline 05/10/2014 By West London Sport QPR boss Harry Redknapp again insisted fitness issues and Loic Remy’s departure were the main causes of his team’s shortcomings following the 2-0 defeat at West Ham. Rangers’ latest loss leaves them bottom of the table going into the international break. And Redknapp said: “We’ve got some players who are still off the pace – still not up to speed. “People like Sandro and Jordon Mutch, who I brought in, haven’t played two games together. “We’re short of goals, short of goalscorers up front, and we lost Remy right on the deadline and couldn’t get a replacement. “It’s been a tough start but there’s a long way to go. One win changes everything. We’re not going to give up. “We’ve got to find a way of playing that will suit everybody and get the best out of what we’ve got.” Rangers went behind when Nedum Onuoha scored an own goal after only five minutes. Charlie Austin missed a couple of chances before Diafra Sakho netted West Ham’s second just before the hour mark. Redknapp admitted: “We got off to a bad start and when you haven’t got a lot of belief, haven’t been scoring and have been conceding goals, the last thing you need is to concede a sloppy goal from a corner. “We were probably having our best spell when they scored the second goal. It’s difficult. It’s not easy.” www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-wls-redknapp-defiant-after-qprs-defeat-at-west-ham

Sounds like the same old excuses that Hughes kept on coming out with. What exactly does Bond and Jordon do? What has Hoddle added to us, except of course more money going out in wages? God we are in trouble, maybe even worse than 2 years ago.

Redknapp "We Lack Energy" www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/051014-harry-redknapp-west-ham-united-reaction-1991144.aspxARRY REDKNAPP: WE LACKED ENERGY PUBLISHED 20:00 5th October 2014 by @qprfc QPR boss Harry Redknapp calls for greater intensity following West Ham United defeat ... HOOPS boss Harry Redknapp provided a frankly-honest assessment following his side's 2-0 Premier League reverse at West Ham United this afternoon (Sunday). A Nedum Onuoha own goal along with Diafra Sakho's second-half strike was enough to see off Rangers in east London, leaving the R's still without a point on the road this term. "We got off to a terrible start, conceding so early on from a corner," Redknapp told www.qpr.co.uk. "When your confidence is not good, it's the worst possible start you can make. "We changed things at half-time and had a great chance through Charlie Austin shortly after, but we've got to play with a lot more energy. We've got to up our work-rate and take the initiative. "We must press the opposition and make them work harder." He added: "We've got a lot of good football players, but they've got to do more off the ball. "It's that movement and willingness to run off the ball that we need to find quickly. "We've got good front men - we've just got to find a way of getting the best out of them. "We've got to pick ourselves up and go again. Everybody will expect us to get smashed by Liverpool (QPR's next opponents), but it's an opportunity for the lads to come out and have a real go." They cannot put more than 2 passes together. The defenders are overmatched. The manager is disconnected from team. They cannot competea at this level.

Redknapp: Players lacking fitness
Published 05/10/2014 | 20:31 0 Comments Share Harry Redknapp believes his QPR team need a goalscorer
Harry Redknapp believes his players are lacking fitness but not fight after QPR were beaten 2-0 by West Ham in the Barclays Premier League on Sunday. Vietnam Military Records1) Simply enter their name. 2) View the military record online! genealogy.com/Records_Military #2 Golf Distance Killer The #1 Reason the Average Golfer Can't Hit it 200+ Yards... www.revolutiongolf.comAds by Google Share Go To Rangers paid the price for a sluggish display as Nedum Onuoha's own-goal and Diafra Sakho's second-half header gave all three points to the Hammers, who move up to seventh in the table, level on points with Arsenal and Liverpool. The defeat leaves Rangers rock bottom of the table with just four points from seven matches and still yet to register a point away from home this season. Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville described the visitors' attitude as "diabolical" after the game but Redknapp refused to criticise his players' commitment. "It wasn't great, that's for sure - that's his opinion. I've seen some diabolical performances of late as well but we won't go into that one," Redknapp said. "We need to get them fitter. I've put a lot of faith into Sandro. Unfortunately he's had an injury and we need to get him fit. "When he's fit he's a fantastic player - I had him at Tottenham, he's an excellent player - but at the moment he's short of fitness. "The doctor came to me at half-time and told me he can only play another 15 minutes - I need players who can play 90 minutes. "They've had injuries and missed training - we need to get everyone fit and ready to go." QPR made a number of high-profile signings in the summer but the team's big names have failed to deliver results so far this season. Redknapp's side face a tough run of fixtures after the international break with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City all to come in the next four games. When asked if the players were letting him down with their disappointing displays, Redknapp said: "I don't think so. We're short - we're short of goals, we're short up front. "It's been difficult, we lost Loic Remy on the deadline and couldn't get a replacement. We've had a tough start but there's an awful long way to go." Redknapp continued: "There's a lot of teams down there - one win changes everything. "What are you supposed to do? You have to keep going. We're not going to give up are we? It's early days. "We have to find a way of playing that suits everybody and get the best out of what we've got." The result means the Hammers head into the international break buoyed by another encouraging display. Sakho, a summer signing from French side Metz, now has five goals in as many games and Sam Allardyce admits he has been surprised how quickly his striker has found his feet in England. "I would have seen Sakho as being a player, coming from the French second division, playing maybe 10 to 15 games for us and finding out about the Premier League," the West Ham boss said. "But he is so desperate to do well and his runs are so good at the opposition's defences and he seems to have the knack - and that's the hardest knack of all - of turning up in the right place at the right time. "So that's fantastic for him and absolutely outstanding business for us at West Ham." Sakho and Enner Valencia have added some much-needed speed in the final third but the Hammers have also been spurred on by the form of Stewart Downing. Playing in a more central role in the midfield diamond, Downing continued his impressive start to the season with another accomplished performance at Upton Park. "Stewart Downing was outstanding for me - he was my man of the match," Allardyce said. "The amount of ball we can get to him in that position in midfield, in a diamond, has been fantastic for him and for us. "He is spraying balls all over the place and that confidence is growing again - that quality is fantastic to see." Souness - Players let down Redknapp www1.skysports.com/football/news/29328/9505641/west-ham-v-qpr-rangers-players-let-harry-redknapp-down-says-graeme-souness West Ham v QPR: Rangers players let Harry Redknapp down, says Graeme Souness 'QPR threw in the towel' By Graeme Souness | Last Updated: 05/10/14 8:47pm 1 QPR players showed no 'sparkle' to get back in the game, says Souness Sky Bet Football Betting Up To £30 Free Matched Bet The QPR players let down their manager, their club and their supporters in their 2-0 defeat at West Ham, says Graeme Souness. A Nedum Onuoha own goal after just five minutes set West Ham on their way before Diafra Sakho doubled the hosts’ advantage just before the hour. Rangers never looked like getting back on level terms with Sam Allardyce’s side and the result leaves QPR rooted to the foot of the Premier League table with just four points from their first seven games. "They just threw the towel in as though they’re feeling sorry for themselves." Graeme Souness After the match Sky Sports pundit Souness slammed the work rate and desire of the QPR players and said boss Harry Redknapp will be fuming at the lack of commitment from his side. “If you haven’t got players willing to work hard, you’ve got nothing,” he said. “If you’ve got really good players and they’re willing to work hard you’re going to win more games than you lose – but if you’ve got decent players not working hard you’re not going to win any games. “With the best will in the world, these are goodish players and they have to put a real stint in for their manager. “But Harry will go home tonight and not sleep. He’ll be tearing his hair out. As a manager you think ‘I’m guaranteed everyone will have a real go’, especially if you’re down near the bottom. He’s not getting that off these players. “Put a stint in for your manager. That manager is going home to suffer, have a sleepless night, be miserable around his family and he’s going to wake up tomorrow feeling even worse than he does tonight, thinking ‘how am I going to put this right’. “These players have a duty to their manager, a duty to the club and a duty to the supporters to give them a bit more than they’ve given them today. “After losing the first goal none of them showed any sparkle to get themselves back into the game. They just threw the towel in as though they’re feeling sorry for themselves. “That’s why management drives you mad. That’s so disappointing for Harry.” Diabolical Rob Green says his QPR side didn't do enough to challenge West Ham in a comfortable win for the Hammers. Gary Neville was equally appalled by the performance from QPR. He had predicted Rangers, out of the three promoted sides, would fare better this season, however, he has re-evaluated that opinion after a number of lacklustre displays from the west London side. “Two years ago I thought they were a shambles in the Premier League, all the way through the season,” he said. “But I thought after that, and getting promotion the way they did last year, the very least we’d see would be a very hard working team that would do well this season, relatively. “But what we’re watching is diabolical. “The basic premise of a football team is to work hard. You think of Harry Redknapp teams down the years – at Portsmouth, West Ham and Tottenham – and they were swashbuckling, attacking teams, sometimes even reckless in attack. There’s nothing there. “I’ve watched them a few times this season and it’s repeated. When you see it three, four times that’s a worry, a real worry. You saw Harry Redknapp at the end on the bench and it’s not even worth getting up, standing in your technical zone trying to get your team back in it. “They were only 2-0 down, if they got a goal with five minutes to go they’re in the game. But he knows it’s not coming.” Stronger Sam Allardyce said it was a 'perfect result' for his side as they scored twice and kept a clean sheet in their win over QPR. As for West Ham, who now sit seventh, Neville says they can go into the international break encouraged by their start to the campaign – and the potential of their forward pair Enner Valencia and Sakho. “Last year, when you looked at West Ham, particularly with Andy Carroll out injured, they lacked firepower in front of goal,” he said. “But this season they look completely different. “Stewart Downing has got a new lease of life and the two up front look a real handful. Plus, they’ve still got Carroll to come back who will make them even stronger. “So it’s looking good for West Ham. The fans wanted more expansive football and they’re getting it. But I have to say, were West Ham anywhere near their best today? I don’t think they were because they were playing against such a poor si

Now it's time the team got fit and ready for battle? Surely that time was the beginning of the season, back in August? This would be laughable if it wasn't so fu(king sad. Clueless and deluded. We've been an embarrassment and a joke for 3 years now. At least we're consistent. Time to start putting some pride back into the club, from the board down. Enough of the bullsh!t, please. Or look at it like this Uncle Tone - You will never get planning permission for a huge stadium and housing complex if all you can bring to the table is a Championship side and no-one will cover the debt in a sale either. You need to sort out the attitude at QPR or you'll end up with another Caterham. And all the while we're still being over-charged to watch this crap. That's it, no more away days for me this season. I've got a 14 month old daughter I'd much prefer to spend my Saturdays with, rather than waste money on travel, tickets to games where my money ends up in the pockets of our opponents chairmen and a team that surrenders faster than a French Army. Home games only for me for the rest of the season. Sod this sh!t.

what I can't understand is the fact that on paper there are some decent players ,but then again it is a lot different when they play ,Arry for me has lost the ability to motivate the players ,let's be honest about it a lot of these players have Premier League experience yet they are woeful ,can't defend ,can't string two passes together ,no energy ,no passion ,no commitment etc ,wtf do they do on the training pitch ,so cut all the bollocks uncle tone and have some balls and get shot of Arry and his bloody entourage now before it is too late and that includes that waste of space Ferdinand !

West London Sport port Allardyce: Lack of firepower is QPR’s main problem 06/10/2014 By West London Sport West Ham boss Sam Allardyce believes QPRs lack of firepower is the main reason for their poor start to life back in the Premier League. Harry Redknapp’s side are bottom of the table and their 2-0 defeat against the Hammers on Sunday means they have lost all of their away matches so far this season, scoring only one goal in the process. “For Harry, like for us all, it’s about how threatening you are in terms of goal threat,” said Allardyce. “If you’re struggling to do that then the rest of the team comes under that much pressure it ultimately cracks. We’ve suffered that ourselves in the past. “What did they have? One attempt when Charlie Austin did brilliantly to get away from James Tomkins and a couple of shots. “When you haven’t got a real goalscorer in the team it makes such a difference. Our goal threat is greater whereas I think QPR are lacking a real goal threat at the moment and that makes life difficult.” www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/west-london-sport-qpr/football-wls-west-ham-boss-allardyce-explains-why-its-going-wrong-for-redknapp-and-qpr

I feel really down over the result. As usual for a match day I'd built my whole day around it. Being on a Sunday it was slightly different but there was an offer on 4 packs of Stella so it was a bright start. I even gave up decorating the spare room; I fired up the PC and settled in for what I hoped was an improved performance from the boys - I should have carried on decorating. I had convinced myself that this was one of the games where we had a chance of some points, I don't mind losing so much - its the manner of the defeat that p*sses me off!
I am still in the Harry camp. Probably a diminishing band by the content of some of the posts but I did notice that some of those were anti Harry before he even started with QPR so its no surprise that they're out in force emboldened by a poor run of form. People look for someone to blame when things go wrong, I see one poster is even having a go at Les Ferdinand but expect that's what you get when things aren't going well. Poor old Les, he's only sat down once and its already his fault.
Still, here we are, Premier League again - bottom again - hoping things change, again!
