FYI, this was another Ex-QPR O'Neil tweet response to Simpson's Tweet Simpson has only made one appearance as sub midway through 2nd half since he's been there. Don't know if he's injured or not.

He always has to make a whole song and dance about everything. Typical Fernandes exist strategy for getting out of sticky situations. Just like his spats with Malaysian airport authorities and during the aborted MAS-Air Asia swap fiasco. Make a lot of brouhaha about staying the course, then when public clamor is at its highest, does an about u-turn. He hates making hard decisions but he loves the ego stroking from his audience more.
Besides his consortium partners are also probably monitoring the situation and pressuring him to do something. Based on the vociferousness and childishness of his (Fernandes) excuses, Redknapp may just have a few days.

My faith is wavering. I think HR should stay but the determination needed to stick by him gets bigger every day.
We have a 2 week break so there is no point in sacking him in a few days. Either do it now or give him another month.
I think we are agreed though that it is performances that are the problem. If we were matching our opponents and coming away battle-scarred we would have more patience

I read the Tony Fernandes tweets - and it's not so much a question or agreeing; it's a matter of confidence in him running the club.
Others may disagree, but those tweets do not enhance in my confidence in him

Hull 7/10 for effort could of won but didn't points count .Need to win these games at home. Spurs 2/10. Outplayed could have been 6-0 Sunderland. 8/10 Gritty performance Manure. 2/10 dreadful , clueless , scared of our own shadows Stoke 6/10 Stoke had the better chances , just about deserved a point. Southampton 6/10 . 2/10 for 1st half, game should have been over at ht for them, dreadful 45 but good 2 nd West Ham 3/10 dreadful , gutless spineless
Conclusion - REDKNAPP ,BOND and JORDAN could leave tomorrow and I wouldn't be one tiny bit despondent. Or would I think any worse of Uncle Tone for moving them on .

Thanks , never see it tucked under the main tweet there . Think the answer to that is,the Club should have signed a goalscorer a month earlier as we all knew Remy would go at that crazy price. a big cock up that , even bigger one is letting REDKNAPP continue IMO

We are hardly armchair fcukin critics. We pay our hard earned and follow our team and comment on what we observe, sorry if that bothers you Tony but we have every right to be critical, your tenure so far has been very poor, you have lost some £200 million and yet we still have a lack of fire power and pace, no full backs and we were always going to struggle this season because long standing deficiencies within the squad have not been addressed, its only the last 24 hours of the window that the penny finally dropped with you and Harry. The rest of us could it coming for weeks prior so give it a rest son, you are making yourself look an even bigger plank. You are here for this moment, we the fans are here for every moment, don't ever forget that.
Happy to come and see you and tell you face to face what I think, no armchair critic here, but can you stomach someone looking you in the eyes and telling it as it is?

Can't blame TF for getting p*ssed off with the abuse. He offloaded most of our expensive wasters, bought well in the summer, got dumped on by Remy at the last minute, wouldn't bow to Borini's excessive demands, sticks by a decent manager who got us promoted at the first time of asking. So not exactly sure what people think he's done wrong? So, some of the players aren't clicking just yet, others are supposedly unfit. I still think once Barton is back and new players gel, we'll improve significantly. Good grief, even Adel is beginning to sound like he's up for it! I got the feeling people were going to see where we were after 10-12 games before panicking - seems to me that there are a few twitchy sphincters around already...

Tony did well through the summer in signing players , got rid of some rubbish (simpson apart) Credit where credits due . People on Twitter do go overboard but that seems to be the same to all chairman not just Tony . They all get a bashing. Although we did sign Rio which could be one of the reasons we fail this season if we continue with him every week. I am quite happy for REDKNAPP to have 11-12 games ManC / Newcastle that gives a good comparison with Hughes in a fresh new season. Only trouble is with at is as we know when HR took over 26 games wasn't enough to save us ?

His last tweet: "I don't think the players didn't try yesterday".
The problem with this club summed up in 46 characters. As I said in another thread, no work ethic. Players jogging back is seen as acceptable.
You wonder now why they don't run through walls for any manager?

Chairman's got to do what he think is best.
If he wants Redknapp to continue because he believes he's best
But he shouldnt be in the position of believing Redkinapp should go, but doesnt have the guts or will be emabarrassed if he axed him.
Say what you like about Flavio (and I have!) But when he wanted a Manager gone...CHOP.
*Caveat - Sousagate was a little differently done

Bad starting point when the chairman has puppy dog eyes for the manager and feels the club is the one that should be thankful that the manager deigns to grace the club with his presence. Tail wags the dog.

Tail wags the dog. He was the same with that no good excuse of a manager, Hughes and we know what happened to him! So, we getting the picture now? Are we begining to understand why just firing managers isn't working? Why some of us hold TF accountable for the culture at this club that breeds apathetic, listless players and a manager who clearly cares less about this club than he still does about any of his previous employers?

Can the chairman please just shut up in his public praise and defence of the performance, players and manager after what we have witnessed. Instead he should be reminding them why they are being paid and accept nothing less than 100% all of the time.
