We may have set a Premiership record of no wins since the start of the season but we still some way to go to break the winless record for topfligght football. Back in the late 80's Sheff Utd gfans had to wait until after Christmas to finally celebrate a win in the tiop flight- and guess what? Once they won that game they couldn't stop winning. They didn't just avoid relegation, they comfortably avoided it in the end.
Okay I'm probably clutching at starws and even as recent as the late 80's the First Div was far more competitive that it is now - and the gulf between the bototm teams and the middle ranked teams weren't as pronounced as it is now, but that should give us some hope that all is not lost. I know they are just draws but I think you will find that for the first time since we got promoted we have managed to go 3 games unbeaten. We are nowhere near perfect and there are plenty of flaws the inability to defend from set pieces will continue to haunt us) but I get the impression that the team is responding better under 'Arry than the Oh Clueless One.
So no all is not lost but this club needs to find wins - and fast.
Having said that I still don't fancy our chances - if we avoid the drop it will be the miracle to end all footballing miracles. But then again this is QPR - masters of the unexpected. Can win 4-1 at Old Trashford in one week and then lose to a lower league side in the cup the following week.
So if Rangers do go down who woukld be to blame?
Hughes must pick up most of the flak - lost the plot complelety - bought lame horses for a lot of money on expensive contracts and then didn't know how to get the best out of them. The m,ost uselss coach in QPR's histiory - and was so sure of himself that he couldn't even accept the blame for the small things.
The players must take some of the blame for their attitude.
TF and co muyt also take some of the blame - they hung onto Clueless Hughes for 5 games too many in my opinion, and in my view didn't keep proper control over that clown either. For sure it wasn't part of a plan to destroy QPR and I think their intentions were good, but they were too naive and I think that will come back to haunt us.

EPL, we've been QPR, thank you and goodnight. The worst team in premier league history and the worst Rangers team for many years. Fernandes has to take some blame, an abject lesson in how not to plan for a season, can't be too hard on him, but for a savvy business man he has been naive in the extreme. What could he have done differently though? In what way has he been naive in the extreme? Should he have told hughes who he can and cannot buy?? Don't think people liked our last owners trying to get involved like that! He told Hughes to buy Park, our second most expensive transfer. Spending several millions uselessly IS a bad idea. But hey, we got our shirt in Carnaby street, can't be that bad.

Oddly enough, if TF told the players they weren't going to get paid again until we won when do you think we'd see out first win of the season?

His comments about his reliance on IJ made some months ago said it all Mac, i can't remember thw exact words but i'm sure you know here i am coming from. This may not have been the only quote. But this is one "...So this is not something that is easy to run; that's why I go out and meet people, that's why I sit down with Ian [Taylor, the club media officer] and I get his views on players. I suck in everything. I don't think you could run an airline or any business without immersing yourself in it..." March 2012 - further Fernandes/QPR on the amazing QPR Report Blog qprreport.blogspot.com/2012/03/qpr-report-saturday-t-only-fernandes-on.htmlYes its this comment that i was thinking of. How smart a guy can he be if he talks to IJ about players eh? IJ eh, well we know we are in safe hands with TF and his sidekick IJ. No more worrying lads it's all gonna be ok.

How it was QPR set a new Premier League Record for worst start to season: 16 games in without a win www.skysports.com/queens-park-rangers-results/2012-13 Finally December 15 2012 beat Fulham - Match Reports Post by Macmoish on Dec 15, 2012 at 12:10pm www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/superb-taarabt-gives-qpr-first-victoryWest London Sport - Sports news in west london QPRSuperb Taarabt gives QPR first victory Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Queens Park Rangers v Fulham - Loftus Road 15/12/2012 by Lyall Thomas QPR 2 Fulham 1 Two goals from Adel Taarabt – one fortuitous, one brilliant – gave QPR their first league win of the season. The skilful Moroccan found space from distance early in the second half and fired a low shot that took a deflection off the leg of Brede Hangeland and sent keeper Mark Schwarzer the wrong way. And then a sublime solo effort saw the forward skin Hangeland and curl home with the outside of his boot from the edge of the box. Substitute Mladen Petric pulled a goal back for Fulham late on but Ranger held on to secure a derby victory. R’s boss Harry Redknapp made three changes to the side that drew 2-2 away at Wigan last weekend, with Djibril Cisse returning to the side to partner Taarabt up front. Jose Bosingwa wasn’t in the matchday squad and so Nedum Onuoha started at right-back and Alejandro Faurlin came in with Samba Diakite dropping to the bench. Both Cisse and Taarabt went close early on before Jamie Mackie fired wide with only the keeper to beat after latching on to John Arne Riise’s sloppy back-pass. Rangers dictated the first half but the sides went in goalless at the interval and so it fell to Taarabt to produce two moments of individual quality to win the game. QPR: Green; Onuoha, Nelsen, Hill, Traore; Wright-Phillips (Fabio 86), Faurlin, Mbia, Taarabt, Mackie, Cisse (Ferdinand 90). Subs not used: Cesar, Diakite, Derry, Ferdinand, Granero, Fabio, Hoilett. Fulham: Schwarzer; Riether (Kelly 46), Hangeland, Hughes, Riise; Duff, Sidwell, Baird, Richardson (Petric 63); Berbatov, Rodallega (Dejagah 72). Subs not used: Etheridge, Senderos, Karagounis, Dejagah, Kacaniklic.
