Forsure its a done deal with someone new, hopefully Hughes as the likes of Benitez or Erikson that are also linked, fill me with fear! NW will be looked after and im sure hes got a good retirement pot sorted, i for one cant wait for his book to come. However its QPR thats important, we have got to believe its for the best, it has to be good timing, as there is still plenty of timing left in the transfer window. The likes of AJ, Onouha, Samba, maybe Zamora, Hughes has worked with them all and may carry alot of weight with their decisions to join us. I, however am not convinced by these, and would love to see us go for Maynard (who would go relatively cheap as out of contract in the summer) or Jordan Rhodes? Also is disappoints me to see" McEacheran to Swansea SSN" as this would be a good deal IMO. Crikey what a night, i was getting sloshed on red wine round my bro's and now i doubt i'll sleep with the worry of it all. Thank you Neil, for all you have given us, and its without doubt we can never repay you for what you have given us, you are a legend, and as a fellow 'northern' i worried for you when you took over, but we all took you to our hearts and you took us on an unbelievable journey and to that we are eternally grateful, you are a great man! However im with the board and believe this is the correct decision, lets hope the next one will be!!

Was Warnock "hands off" in the coaching area, when at Palace, leaving most to his assistants? Interesting question. As Far I am aware / have been told, yes. Very much so.

Thanks...Seems to have worked out pretty well...
Kind of The Brian Clough approach, which also seemed to work pretty well....
But when the axes are out, suddenly what was ok becomes a cause for concern...

I think you are on very thin ice Hitman when you question Eusebio's support for QPR or what he should say.
That's too reminiscent of the kind of talk I used to hear when I raised Questions about Paladini...And his aparatchick used to belittle me and question me being a QPR supporter...
I think the test of a QPR supporter is to be free to express your views and support or condemnation of club actions. You still support the club.

Am I the only one finding today incredibly surreal?? i would describe it as a f**king travesty of a day for our club. Doesnt seem possible from the End of August until today what has just happened. QPR fans divided by Warnock sacking QPR fans are divided over the club's decision to axe manager Neil Warnock. The 63-year-old was fired as Rangers boss this afternoon after a dismal nine-game winless streak that leaves them hovering just a point above the Premier League drop zone. But the Loftus Road faithful are mixed over whether owner Tony Fernandes was right to show Warnock the door. Jim Seedhouse said: “It's very very harsh! We seem to forget where we were when he took over. He did a great job to get us out of the Championship as champions....people have short memories.” Chris Delaney added: “Warnock came in when QPR were in a bad way and brought the club back to the Premier League. “Neil Warnock should be thanked for all he done for this club and we do need stronger players. I don't think sacking him is a moral boast for the players. “Any club promoted will always have a hard time, so he'll be sadly missed.” However, sections of supporters believed Fernandes was right to act now to address QPR's alarming slide down the table in a bid to keep them up. Michael Biggs said: “Motivating a team capable of challenging for promotion is vastly different to skills needed for motivation to fight against relegation. “Neil was good in one of these areas several times, but unproven in the other. Odd team choices, formations, subs, and players being played out of position shows a degree of panic imo, so it was right he went now.” Ali Moustafa added: “He was the best while in Championship but it's time to improve. Good decision by board by not taking anymore chances and no hard feelings with Mr Warnock.” Read More www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-sport/london-qpr/2012/01/08/qpr-fans-divided-by-warnock-sacking-82029-30083740/#ixzz1iuZ7WMiX

Warnock gone and no immediate replacement ! dosen't tel us somehing, there was a problem with him and the dressing room, the fact he's out of the way it's cleared the air.
We've had rumours for the past two or three weeks, no smoke without a fire somewhere in the background, I bet you'll see a differnt attitude on the pitch come Sunday.
We've had it in the past with Magilton, it happens at all Clubs and it happens in business where the staff become demotivated for whatever reason, it happens, it's up to the leader to put his foot on it and stop, Ferguson runs the dressing room with a rod of iron he has fall outs all the time but he puts the fear of Christ of anyone who wants to step out of line, didn't Beckham finish up with a cut on his face.
You have to treat everyone the same, Warnock made the mistake of going soft on some and coating others, big mistake, it's a team game theyr'e all to blame, man management, it's not easy, if the training staff were not doing the business then off the go, was he to pally with them, at the end of the day the buck stops with him and he's paid the price.
Before him came Warnock was the last person we ever wanted to manage us, but we came to like him, whoever comes in get behind him and the team, so don't let's knock the new guy, we need to stay in the Prem, we were heading south with NW, the owners have acted in the best interests of the Club, that includes us, so get behind them and be positive, we going to stay up.

if this post warrents a ban then so be it but like i said so many times in response to the following to which you typed
"I think the test of a QPR supporter is to be free to express your views and support or condemnation of club actions. You still support the club"
being called an idiot, arsehole, twat and chelsea supporter. along with the common piss off over to watrb and more ...... is fair and fine by you.
so be it.
neil warnock fc is gone, back the players and the club or take your support down to cornwall.

Hitman34 -
Did you not see my post where I asked for that to be knocked on the head? I haven't seen anyone do it again since then.
Or are you choosing to ignore certain posts that don't fit your victimised stance so you can have a go at this board over nothing?

Such a shame, I really dont think its the right time for this and I don't think a new manager will achieve many more points in this half of the season than Warnock did in the 1st half of it. Unfortunately for Neil, he is the victim of his own success. He did amazingly well, miraculously, in fact to get us from championship relegation contenders to the premier league in 18 months. But because of this success, it has caused our glory hunting, bandwagon jumping, tourist, never been to a league 1 game "fans" to expect us to be worldbeaters. We were always going to struggle with the board situation we had and the squad we had, it was always going to be a dogfight, but some "fans" seem t forget this. They seem to forget that without NW we wouldnt be playing premier league football and we certainly wouldnt have attracted a new owner to buy us if we were relegated to league 1. Real QPR fans, fans that have been there through thick and thin, know how bad we have had it and that a blip in a season in the premier league is nothing compared to the bad times we have experienced. So congratulations to Hitman, Floridar etc for getting your wish, lets hope for our clubs sake it works out. But what do you expect this new manager to achieve that Warnock couldnt? Europe? Signing world class players? your dreaming it wont happen, what will happen is no matter whether we stay up or go down, the real fans will be there at the end of it even after you tourist fans are long gone, to continue supporting our beloved rangers and to show loyalty to those that did right by us and our club.
You will be missed Neil Warnock, thank you for helping my club in every way you could.
Onwards and upwards.
You R's!!!!

Cannot be performance alone for his sacking.

Hitman There are no Warnock fc fans here, only genuine Qpr fans who are extremely fed up that we have lost a great bloke who gave us back our club.I personally am pretty upset about the whole thing, and it is true to say I would have backed him if we went down, I always said we should be looking more long term planning wise, but I don't control finances and TF made a decision which I don't agree with. Now we must now get on with it and get behind the new guy. This is a sad day.I am concerned about this dressing room as well and would love to know what part that idiot Barton played in all this.I knew he would be trouble when we signed him, let's flog this waste of space. Sorry, bit emotional about this, Cheers, Jay

Interesting that the club made offers for Samba and Johnson just before Warnock was sacked. Maybe nobody else was lined up but it was mainly down to our poor performance against MK
