What a great QPR captain & leader of men he was for Neil Warnock, worth every penny of that £80 grand a week.

Or the players are under trained and if true then as captain he has every right to question him.

Its good to know that when these players are training "properly" they will undeniably turn in some match winning "Man Of The Match" type performances, I'm looking forward to seeing that in the next few weeks, its a weight off my mind.

No, I'd keep him as captain & its good to know that now we will be training "properly" Joey Barton will be dictating & bossing centre midfield every week & turning in true captain's performances, I'm also looking forward to Shaun Wright-Phillips topping the assists charts in a month or so's time as a result of decent coaching / training. & Jay Bothroyd, it all becomes clear, the only thing that was stopping from putting the ball in the back of the net every week was not his obviously sh!tty attitude, it was infact the lack of a "proper" training regime.

it makes sense though guys rumours that KC did nothing during training sessions but sit nursing hang overs and put no input into the sessions whatsoever and we wonder why we cannot 1)defend against free kicks 2)make something of our own free kicks and 3)play players in all their wrong positions. everyone talks about free loading players etc and to a point i agree they have not deserved their wages in my mind if they have had no leadership from the training pitch to matchday then is it any wonder we got pros complaining that the training is a joke and out of touch with premiere league standards. it all makes sense and instead of blaming the players who if they have been taking the piss will soon be brought down to earth when MH comes in. but i believe the problems have been with the coaching staff and unfortunately NW with his tactics and player positions etc.
Fans talking about giving up their season tickets want to stop throwing their toys out the pram and realise that the guys in charge of our wonderful club that we all love and cherish is also their club that they owe and cherish and they got a darned sight more at stake than any of us and therefore we have to agree with them ,some people through gritted teeth admittedly but it is obvious they are after the best and what is for the best and unfortunately they had to do today what they did.
onwards and upwards lets get behind our owners and board and lets make them proud to be involved with this club of ours.

It certainly is a convenient time for these rumours about the "training" regime to surface, a very convenient time indeed.

The size of his mouth. (C). The size of his contribution on the pitch as QPR captain. People can think I am on some sort of crusade as much as they want, I do not want QPR to become just another one of those clubs where "big name" players come in on big wages & take the P!ss.

Can't blame Barton here. And I don't think he's been quite as bad as some make him out to be since joing the hoops. He's been pretty stable imo for the most part.
Get the feeling Barton was told to put a lid on the tweets today once they made the decision.
I expect we'll see a better Barton going forward.

can we not, even now, get behind the team, and stop sniping, who's side are we on here, get a grip, please

Post by klr on Jan 8, 2012 21:37:23 GMT
Its not sniping, its people earning tens & tens of thousands of pounds a week & doing what exactly for it ?
If they were on the same wages as EG Clint Hill I wouldnt call them out, but they arent, are they ?
Barton, Wright-Phillips, Bothroyd, how many weeks have they earnt their wages at QPR ?
I'd say its about 5 out of 20.
25% is the return we are getting for these big bucks wages, I dont want to see any of that at QPR, I'll say it & say it again, up until this point today, Barton, Wright-Phillips & Bothroyd could not give a flying F*ck about QPR.

stop slagging of the players and get behind the team man! Am I slagging them off ? Are you really trying to suggest that they pulled their weight & fought for their manager ? No, I'm sorry, they deserve to be called out & B o llocked, where was their balls & pride ? Did they put themselves on the line for their manager ? I bet some of them are out having a party as we speak, couldnt give a toss about QPR, give me a Clint Hill or a Paddy Kenny over those tossers anyday. I'm getting it off my chest & when the new manager comes in, I'll get right back behind the team & everyone in it.

fair point but on the other hand what do you expect from the players when he publicly embarrases one for not fouling an opponent (furlan) publicly slates another for fouling (troree) hummiliates another by saying he will drive them to the airport himself to the press (tarrabt) along with waving email adresses of a fan on match of the day and putting barton on a peddestool as if he is some kind of god, and leaving training sessions on the whole in charge to keith "jd" curle. and and and and and.
i respect your point but my opinion is the buck stops with you know who.

I'm just wondering whether with a new manager, this will be a fresh chance for Agyemang, Vine and Borrowdale to show the new manager what they can do! ;D (Just a shame Pellicori and Alberti aren't here any longer, so won't have that opportunity)

Joseph Barton @joey7barton Close Gutted to hear about the manager losing his job. We have to stick together as a club at times like these and believe in those above
Joseph Barton @joey7barton Close I'd like to thank Neil, Keith and Mick personally for all they did whilst I was here and wish them all the best in the future.
Joseph Barton @joey7barton Close Mr Warnock's record at Championship level speaks for itself, no doubt he'll be kick started another promotion dream before the seasons out!
Joseph Barton @joey7barton Close As a football club, we must look forwards now and try our utmost to attain Premiership status for next season. "The king is dead........"
Joseph Barton @joey7barton Close Strange game this, commodity based industry using human beings as those commodities. Its the nature of the beast.......#nopointcrying
Feels like a few swipes in there to me
