We'll have a new back four then:
Traore Gabbidon Ferdinand Young
Not that exciting perhaps but I believe every position is at least an improvement, plus a much needed added depth. Orr and Hill are still competent backup players, same with Hall (when fit).
Midfield, Barton is a real coup and will help us greatly. Even if SWP doesn't sign we will have an adequate midfield.
Attack: I don't expect much to happen here, both Campbell and Bothroyd must both at least get a chance before being replaced.

If we get SWP and Anton done today I will be happy. Then if we still need reinforcements we have the January window.

Great tweet from a QPR fan.
Barton, Bellamy, Taarabt. Is Warnock putting together a team to exact revenge on El Hadj Diouf?

Dave McIntyre - West London Sport
QPR chase deadline-day dealsQPR have this afternoon moved a step closer to capturing Shaun Wright-Phillips but are threatening to withdraw their interest in Peter Crouch.
Rangers have agreed a fee with Manchester City for Wright-Phillips but need to overcome a late hitch if they are to complete his signing before the end of the day. The transfer hangs in the balance, but by 2pm it seemed there was significant movement towards a deal. Rangers started the day believing they were close to re-signing Peter Crouch, although by lunchtime they had still yet to reach an agreement with Spurs.
Crouch, a crowd favourite during his first spell with the R’s, is also wanted by Sunderland but his former club will be in pole position to sign him if Tottenham are prepared to cut a deal ahead of the deadline. QPR have spoken to the agent of Manchester City’s Wales striker Craig Bellamy, who is now undergoing a medical at Liverpool. Neil Warnock is keen to recruit at least one centre-back before the deadline and has the option of signing Anton Ferdinand, as a deal to buy him from Sunderland has been in place for the last couple of days. The Rangers boss has also been waiting to discover if Birmingham will part with Liam Ridgewell in light of Scott Dann’s expected departure from the Midlands club, who have signed central defender Jack Deaman and made an approach for Coventry’s Ben Turner. Warnock has allowed Peter Ramage to return to Crystal Palace on loan until January, while teenage striker Antonio German has left the club after having his contract terminated by mutual consent. www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-chase-deadline-day-deals/

Borrowdale et al packing their bags! Borrowdale, Alberti and the Pelican are bricked in the cellar with Paladini. There's no chance of offloading them so the club are going to starve them and claim the life insurance. Shittu's waiting for transport to the glue factory.

Anyway just under eight more hours. And then one way or the other...
