May i be the first person on here to sincerley thank flavio and bernie for all they have done at qpr.
You rescued us from the brink, funded us, and returned us to the premier league after a 15 year absence.
i do have my doubts but i hope you have sold to a man who has genuine long term intentions in taking qpr forward.
am very sad to say this but you have done and invested more than what mittal ever will dofor us and i for one am truely greatful for that.
Good luck with your future success'es!

Oh Dear, sounds like something Petey would type. Still each to their own.
Whilst estatic if they have gone completely, I cant see them doing so. They want to keep a casting vote in case Mittal challenges something. Ego will see to that.
Still, on a more positive note, they did bring initially some very positive publicity to the club in its darkest hour and they are both certainly colourful personalities. I hope with them, Mr Paladini also takes the walk as well. It would be doing things the Italian way. However, someone please make sure he pays back the interest free loan.
That they saved the club is debateable, that they spent their own money saving the club is not. They instead "loaned" the club the money against itself to pay off namely the ABC loan, at a lesser interest rate. That they may have paid approx 600k for the club is of course debateable and when you see them asking 100 Million....Well Dick Turpin could not have done a better job.
Thanks Guys, been nice knowing you, shut the door on the way out. Although I strongly suspect there will always be a foot holding the door whilst anyone with any association with F1 is involved with the club and the aforementioned Mr Paladini stays here.
Hitman, an interesting thread and you are entitled to your opinion.

Thanks Bernie and Flavio for pissing most of the QPR fans off, and for mugging off everybody associated with the club.
You couple of uncaring greedy b`stards.

i agree with the thank you for saving the club when the first came in otherwise we could be luton right now, but over the time they did some poor things, like picking the players to play changing manager all the time etc, i think it might be for the best they have had there fun and are now gone, and my girlfriend wondered why i boooed when they were on top gear the other week

Thank you T&C for at last doing something for the club - leaving!
The people I would like to thank are every person that on message boards, fanzines, phone ins, E mails /letters to the club etc. did their own little bit to help make this day possible. As they say "Every little helps".
We have overcome.

Been watching developments all afternoon. I just feel a huge weight has been lifted from all of our shoulders. The sense of relief is immense. Frankly I am tired of hearing from the club how we were saved by Briatore and Ecclestone and how much they have done for us. Their involvement seems to me to have been 'buy cheap, limited investment, sell as soon as we hit the premiership' . Good ruidance and goodbye Tango and Cash and hopefully Palladini. Welcome Tony and welcome back Amit. I hope that Sakshena can come back. It was shameful how the club seemed to point the finger at him after the FA enquiry. We all know why the investigation took place and why we were fined.
Today is a great day for us all. Somehow despite all their money T&C made us feel cheap. Our sense of pride is back!!

Well I'm not sure how many Hitman speaks for!
I'd say Bernie never really cared. But he had a nice wry, sense of humour.
Briatore treated the fans like insignificant product. And the club as just a product to make money.
I think QPR is far more than that.
Now if Briatore had actually done what he's said he do when he took over. And if he had acknowledged he didn't know what he was talking in terms of football. And had replied on people who could give good advice, who knows.
But I think at bottom: It's not just a matter of success and failure. Effort or not. It's how you treat people: Your staff. Your underlings. Your customers. With respect. With dignity. With manners, etc. I think that's important.

Anyone else surprised that Briatore is leaving totally? I thought he'd stay, retain some shares. Just be a part of things; even if not in control.

next bernie and flav victims i predct will be brentford, there sell griffin park for a nice profit, build loads of flats and houses, whilst promising a new stadium that predictably never materialises, while brentford end up in limbo sharing with leyton orient until some comes along and saves there arses, just a predicton but you couldn"t rule anything out with those two clowns, as i said in a earlier post, please dont darken our door again.

Macmoish, Bernie & Flav may have been the scum of the earth but QPR survived because of them. We were in dire straits at the time and could have ended up like Wimbledon! They were here, did what had to be done, now they're gone and we should all move on as well! Start thinking positive and stop dwelling on the past!

For the third time in 2 days, there is no proof we wouldn't have survived without them, for all we know we could have been taken over by someone that took us to the Prem sooner.

Are you suggesting Ronnie Rosential would have got us into the premiership? Even BP at the time was excited that Flavio and Bernie had taken over.
We are not a big club despite some thinking we are the next Manchester City. Reality is we would not have got to the premiership, we were days away from administration. We had gone from Sellotape sponsors on the back of our shirts to big corporations like Gulf Air on the front.
We had spent 15 years trying getting back to the premiership, so saying it was conceivable we would get promoted with other ownerships it naive to say the least.
Despite that its time for Tony and Amit to take this club forward to the next level.

There were other options, tango and flab were GP's preferred choice it is as simple as that, so they were not the saviours some seem to think.

they saved the club from years in the doldrums not oblivion, there will always be a qpr, just like there is still a luton a southampton a portsmouth a leeds and so on, you get my drift, people who fall into the they saved our club nonsense are deluded.
