Well am happy with fifth because I predicted 8th at the end of the season. We have won 3 league games and 2 cup games and we have scored more than conceded. Looks like we could have a cup run. I haven't seen a match live because I 4000 miles away but watched all on QPR Player HD. Of course the Preston game peed me off but that happens.
All this euphoria could fizzle out after Sept 13th when I will watch Rssss v Newcastle accompained by my Geordie Son-in-law.

Putting next season to one side for a minute our last two away games this season are at Brighton and Burnley - with a little trip to Cardiff just before. We may not be going up but can have a big say on who does! Yes very true. And at the same time our team can demonstrate how far they have progressed. Back to the main question: Am I expecting promotion next season? No, I do not expect promotion but I would expect Loftus Road to be a place teams fear to come in the 2016/7 season. I expect us to win most of our home games and to do so in style . I expect a us to acquire a effective central defender ( and possible captain) to partner Hall. I expect us to acquire a visionary midfielder ( and possible captain), to replace Aly Faulin I expect to see the new partnership between Polter and Chery blossom into a feared goalscoring duo. I expect us to develop into a team who can control a game, at least at home. I expect to see us honestly challenge for the playoffs.

Yea I will take 2 points and be happy. However, in my predictions I have gone or 2 home wins on the basis that Burnley and Brighton are not that hot just now and when you add our newly found defence backbone I feel I couldbe more positive.
But i'll take 2 points.

My name comes from the university I attended until 1979!!! I know it was pretty obvious! So Wrenboy you were there from 61 to 79!!! What happened? Were you severly distracted by the Girls Next Door ? I wonder how many ex Wren Boys are here? Sir Les is one.

A relative newby to this site, although a longstanding Rs supporter (circa 1968) and Wren Old Boy, I was enjoying a long exile on a small caribbean island. Desperate for information on my beloved QPR I searched the net and found this site. After some time visiting as a guest I plucked up enough courage to participate. I noted that some people included "hoops" or "qpr"in their name, and so being in Grenada my user name was born. BTW there is a Queen's Park Rangers team playing in the Premier Division in Grenada. The current football season ended in October where the local QPR came 5th of 10 teams. When were you at the Wren mate ? '68/69'

Good bye and Good luck to NW. Didnt think he should have been sacked the first time and don't think he should go now. Should be kept till the end of the season. Apart from Green's inability to handle back passes he has shored up a leaky defence to the point where we are looking solid. Very sorry to see him go.

Not been in the squad the last couple of games and not seen him listed as injured. Anyone know what happened to him or did he just piss Warnock off? Yes, where is he? Saw him score 2 cracking goals and felt he was not only a good sub for Charlie but would make a good partnership with him too .
