Following Brentford this evening here's our run of fixtures to the end of the year and my predicted results...
Forest (A) Loss of course Norwich (H) Loss Ipswich (A) Win Wolves (H) Draw Rotherham (A) Win Derby (H) Draw Villa (H) Loss Brighton (A) Loss Wolves (A) Draw
I see 9 points from 27, counting 1 point from a draw against the Bees and that's 29 points heading into 2017. Solidly mid-table.
Thoughts? Would JFH still be here if that were the situation.

The team lacks a solid defence, leaders on the pitch and most importantly a Manager that can motivate.
If we had those three I reckon we could make play offs easily and would be progressing. At the minute without those, less than last years Sixty sadly. The football aint all that at the minute and is that now two home wins from eight, thats what we expected in the Premiership a few years ago, now we are happy to accept it in the Championship.

Captain Invisible needs replacing and not just for his lack of Captaincy abilities.

Average players, average manager, average results.
This is what we planned for and this is what we'll get!

Just watching it again Sharkey on Bein 2. Absolutely clueless and gutless and that's just JFH. The players left a lot to be desired too. ALso, it Might be a family stand but what a load of toss the Loft has become. Zero atmoshpere to spur the players on.

Not that all our players are average but surprising what a Manager can achieve that actually motivates and fills a team with passion, determination and desire. Home performanes like QPR 1 BLACKBURN 1, QPR 0 PRESTON 2, QPR 0 NEWCASTLE 6, QPR 0 BRENTFORD 2 just confirm we dont have that under JFH
Leadership is dire on the pitch and even more so from the touchlines.
I would be very surprised if JFH makes it until May and if he does, will he have earnt a contract extension, dont really think so.
Been with us a year now nearly and I dont see many improvements. I think our home form was better under Ramsey. Currently a 3rd thro the season and on course for 58 points.

Dunno about a figure as I'm crap on stats but a points total that reflects how this season seems to be panning out. Win some, lose some (potentially more than we win) and a bunch of draws. Attritional and probably not much fun, like a bunch of teams in our division. Somewhere in mid table.

I see where Fulham won 5-0 against Huddersfield today.
I wonder what that's like? Scoring more then 2 goals in a game and really tonking someone?

It's not like we have been showing some form yet not delivering but one day it all clicks and we do this ourselves. Currently, I see absolutely no indications of that happening.

Huddersfield and Norwich lose 5-0. Wheels come off or just what the Championship is about. That is, any team can beat any other team on the day. Doesn't excuse our performance but puts it in perspective

Anyone can beat anyone yes agree. There's more to it than that though.
However, heres an incite into QPR Home form this season.
Championship ranking 22nd out of 24 Attacking 21st out of 24 Defence Home ranking 22nd out of 24 Goal difference Home ranking 23rd out of 24 If our away form slides, expect us to hit bottom three quite quickly.
Some bloody fortress
Hang on, who said this ..... we are going to play a high tempo attacking game and Ale wont be needed for our team, What a pathetic statement from our Manager , football at times been dreadful, biggest home loss ever, Brentford beat us at home first time in over 50 years, cant wait for the next.

42 would have kept you up the last two seasons....just.
Does having an especially strong league with Newcastle, Norwich et. al. mean you'll need more or less points to stay up you figure? League is strong this year at the top but how about at the bottom?

That would make you finish above Rotherham but not sure above 22/23. 48 always used to be the benchmark..... then 50. I always feel if you dont get 50 points you deserve to embroiled in the battle. I dont think we will go down at all but do think we could finish lower than last year with less points than 60 as our home form is so dreadful. Our home form is that of a relegation contender at this time.

If we had the same performances, same results, same points but our home and away from was reversed, do you think opinions would be different? It's interesting - home defeats certainly hurt more and more people obviously go regularly to LR compared to away games so you're gonna get more positive posts after a home win rather than 'just backs' after an away win - so that all adds up. I mean, it's moot anyway but just figured it was interesting to think about.

I think opinions would be different and there would be less fans calling for his head even though we were 16 th in the table etc. There would still be some fans performances have been disjointed but when you break down the 8 home games how many positives are there after you take out the 1st game of the season Leeds win where we played well. You want to forget about Preston,Blackburn, Newcastle, Brentford straight away. Reading will feel they should have won. Birmingham we did play ok and of course had Bristol C win. But for home form, when there was so much talk about high tempo play and fortress loftus road, it has been a disaster.

But for home form, when there was so much talk about high tempo play and fortress loftus road, it has been a disaster. Definitely - I think there's a big mental impact about home losses. Not just the fact that it hurts more because it's on our patch, the humiliation of away fans taking the piss inside LR etc., it's also cos the prevailing "fact" of doing well in the Championship is almost always based on home form. How many times have we heard that the promotion formula is win most of your home games, take a point away from home? It all adds up. It's 3 points whether it's taken at Loftus Road or Cardiff City Stadium, but in terms of social media and our fan mentality, one means a lot 'more' than the other. The high tempo stuff I agree seems to be largely absent now. Brentford's been dissected so we don't need to go over it but it still feels like on the plus side we're trying to be more attacking but on the down side we look unprepared for the teams we come up against and we do not adapt to the problems put in front of us quickly enough (or sometimes, not at all). The fortress element goes two ways, though. There's always going to be a split in opinion on this but I feel like the players do try but aren't being utilised properly - and this is not helped at all by a sizeable minority within LR absolutely hounding some of our players. By all means, you pay your money, you're welcome to your view but booing our own players before they even come on, audibly groaning before they've even done anything, repeatedly screaming at a player that they're shiteee for making a mistake in a position they've barely played in...it doesn't help. Never been a happy clapper and never been someone who says fans should get behind the team fully or don't bother going, but there are genuinely people around me in R block who seem to take real delight in players getting stuff wrong because it proves they are 'right'. But going and actively making it a hostile place for our own players is absolutely embarassing - same kinda stuff I used to think teams like Wolves were awful for. We aren't as bad as that yet, but genuinely reckon the hostile, over-expectant attitude at Molineux has had a tangible impact on that team. You score an early goal at Wolves and they'll be silent apart from boos if they've not equalised by half time. The players and the manager have a responsibility to give 100% and to give us something to shout about, totally agree with that, but our fans have got to be fair back - it's like an unwritten contract. Against Brentford, the atmosphere was broadly pretty good until the second goal and the Gladwin sub, then it went to pot and fans started fighting eachother in R block.

I guess it only takes one win to turn it all around. A win at Forest might well keep him his Job unless we got beat 0-5 to Norwich. It is what it is. I thought we would get 60-65 points at the start of the season, I know theres stacks of games left but I dont see it now. So unconsistent. Probably 50-60 points. Im not sure that would be good enough as to go down as another year of stability when you break it all down and see negatives of home form and team performance. I think the positives the Club are achieving and the constraints the Club are working under deserve more from there Manager at this stage of proceedings.

The way Norwich are playing I'd hope that, unless we look truly awful and not up for it, most fans would expect and forgive a defeat at Norwich. Forest is a tough one as we just never win there. I don't think we ever have, actually..? Least it's a good time to be leading up to play them, they've looked pretty poor this year.

There you go Jake theres mine. Forest are p1ss poor so going for an away win to start the ball rolling........ Forest (A) Win Norwich (H) Loss Ipswich (A) Win Wolves (H) Draw Rotherham (A). Win Derby (H) Loss Villa (H) Draw Brighton (A) Loss Wolves (A) Draw
9 games, we will win three, draw three and lose three....12 points from 9 games. Thats 31 points just over halfway thro the season.

So Far 4 points from the first 4 RangerJake I Have not got one result correct yet. Would expect nothing less than 3 points tomorrow, specially with some tough games coming up. Well done to any fans going up there But as Bushy told me, one game at a time It seems like we have been running for a point a game approx, for around 2 seasons now .

I think we'll be lucky to get 4 points from the remaining games this month which would give us 27 points heading into the new year, 2 less than I predicted.
Then again I didn't predict a single one of the earlier games right so what do I know.
